This is my home away from home as I am often staying here when I travel to the company office in Allen. The staff is super friendly and make it a point to greet you and to be helpful in any way possible.

The other thing that stands out is their breakfast service. "Red" gives great service and is just fun to be around. Don't miss the croissant french toast.

If you are a Platinum Hilton Honors member, you get your choice of an upgraded room if available. If you want the extra space, get the suite - there is a good sized living room area (and a fold away couch.) But if you are a bath person, get the jacuzzi tub. It is huge and you can watch tv from it.

FIVE big Texas stars! Let me tell ya.. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area of California, the land of the rude, crazy drivers and people who don't speak very good English. From the first night to the last day of our stay we were welcomed into their little Hilton Garden Inn family.

The desk attendants are awesome. They helped my fiancee when he was lost out on the freeway for 5 hours! There were always freshly baked cookies for us when we went down into the lobby, where everyone was urging me to take more than a few back to my room. From 6 am til 10 am there is a wonderful breakfast buffet, served by the lovely Yaneth and Red.. they are unforgettable people who I will miss now that I am back home. Red was kind enough to take me to the Allen outlet stores and go shopping with me. If I ever go back to Texas, I will think to visit them again first.

Another superstar of the Hilton Garden Inn is Antoinette.. she made sure (damn sure!) my room was clean when I wanted it to be and she even dropped what she was doing to go clean my room herself. She makes these awesome flowers out of the kleenex and hand towels. She promised to teach me how to do it next time I come to stay.

The fitness room was always clean and I was actually the only person who seemed to use it.

I would go to Texas again just to stay there. The people in Allen are incredible and I am seriously thinking of moving to Texas just to be around the people.

If you ever want to go to Dallas and you can't find anywhere to stay, Allen is about 30 minutes away from downtown Dallas, and worth it if you want to meet some cool people. I was there for an entire week and got to know nearly the entire staff.

Other highlights include:
-A steamy hot pool and spa, which I didn't get to experience since it was snowing, but it looked really clean and nice.
-Wireless internet and printer
-Two computers and laser printers in a little office room in the lobby
-Awesome chess table and fireplace
-Very good  restaurant next door called Two Rows (do not go to the sushi place next door, it was not good!)
-Alcohol served until 10 pm in the lobby
-A little pantry in the lobby where you can buy snacks, frozen foods, drinks, etc.
-Easy access to the freeway
-The Frisco mall and Allen Outlets are a few miles away
-Nice movie theatre nearby and tons of good restaurants
