This is where we stayed this weekend when we came in for a wedding.  The biggest pro about this place is how quiet it is at night!  I was able to have a sound sleep which is hard when you're not in your own bed.

Everyone who worked there was friendly and wanting to help in any way possible.

One star docked for their "Business Center," which I laugh typing it because it's just funny how they can call it that.  It was a tiny room with two computers.  One from the stone ages where the mouse still had a ball in it instead of it being an optical mouse!  Really, they could splurge the $20 and get a newer mouse.  Also, the internet was really slooooooow.  But yeay for being able to print our boarding passes before going to the airport.

If I ever found myself in Calabasas again, I would stay here - that's saying something, right?

We stayed here for a bat mitzvah in Calabasas and was pleasantly surprised.  Decently sized rooms, great big flat screen TV, fast WiFi, easy parking and quiet.  I didn't use the pool or the hot tub because our family had one at their home (and forbid the use of it so we could hang with them.) Everyone at the front desk was very nice, especially when I had a blonde moment and couldn't remember how to use my travel corkscrew.  Our rooms locked at 11AM SHARP on checkout day, but one of the housekeepers was nice enough to let us back in.  Would def go back if in the area.

Don't let the name mislead you... the Hilton Garden Inn knocks the socks off the regular Hilton (Woodland Hills)!

At first glance, I thought this was going to be the cheaper, "economy" version of the Hilton... but I was pleasantly surprised!  Not only does this Hilton frequently offer lower rates (due to lower capacity), but they also offer a number of amenities not available at the regular Hilton.  They have free wireless internet ($10/day at the Woodland Hills Hilton), free parking ($15-$20/day at Woodland Hills Hilton), a 24-hr snack shop, gym, and a heated pool and hot tub.  Also, their breakfast service is cheaper ($10/person vs. $18/person) and looks to be tastier than Hilton Woodland Hills.  (Admittedly haven't tried it yet, but judging by the lingering aromas alone, I'd put my money on the Garden Inn!)

Like the Woodland Hills Hilton, this location offers a complementary shuttle service that will take you anywhere you want to go within a 5 mile radius.  When I stayed here, they said their night driver was not available, but that they would send a taxi to come pick me up and they would cover the fare.  Personally, not having to worry about driving on a night out is pretty much close to priceless.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are well maintained.  The view from my room was surprisingly nice and the quiet location makes you feel like you're on a relaxing holiday... even if you've gotta reluctantly haul your tired ass into work the next day.

The Hilton Garden Inn is definitely a steal, especially if you can score the advance purchase rate, you can get your room with all the amenities of a more expensive hotel for under $100/night.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and the hotel staff is very friendly! They gave out alot of suggestions for the nearby restaurants! The best part of my stay was my room during the second week.  Somehow I ended up in one of the newer rooms because it had a tub AND a shower! I felt like I was in an actual Hilton, not a Garden Inn!

Plus, the breakfast and cookies that they  give out as a 'snack' are delicious!  Oh, and nothing beats the free wireless internet!
