1 review for Hilton Garden Inn
Most businesses have frequent shopper rewards cards these days and Hilton is no exception. Too bad that I only visit this location once or twice a year cause my reward points expire too quick to utilize them. No matter because the location and amenities always make it a winning combo from last minute bookings to New Years' Eve stays. It's just south of San Francisco and easy to find off the 101 freeway.
The hotel is a calming retreat at the end of a busy day of sightseeing and shopping in the city. Being removed from San Francisco allows for access to local shopping for everyday items and cheaper gas. Many times, we'll pause to regroup and refresh at the end of the day and utilize the free high speed internet connection to research the Bay's neverending restaurant options for dinner.
The rooms are always clean complete with large bathrooms and a work area with desk and business chair. Another reason I love coming to the Garden Inn is because they provide a small fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker in each room. This is great for storing cold drinks and snacks for long walking trips or days around town.
They also have a little convenience store with snacks and drinks in the lobby(if you're a Honors card member you get 2 free bottled waters). Although there are so many more options in the surrounding area, The Great American Grill in the lobby is a good spot to get affordable meals and especially a no-hassle breakfast with made to order eggs and waffles.
All around, this location is a good pick for location, value, and service when visiting the Bay area.
