Hilton Garden Inn
1 review for Hilton Garden Inn
We checked into the Hilton Garden Inn about 11:30 pm. The man working at the front desk was SUPER nice and the lobby is beautiful. This hotel may be brand new. Our room is a king on the top floor (5th) overlooking the river. The room and bathroom are very pretty and clean. They give you a little fridge (without the mini bar), coffee pot and a microwave. The coffee pot came with 2 little liquid creamers, better than the standard powder creamers, but only 2? A nice feature was that they also had 2 herbal teas, so I didn't need to be disappointed with the 2 creamers.
All in all the hotel is very nice, my only two concerns are that the room seemed warm even though we had the thermostat turned down to 71, and the room has a musty smell to me. I thought the smell would go away after the air was on for a while, but it hasn't. It may just be me, I'm overly sensitive to smells. My husband says that he doesn't smell it anymore.
Also for business travelers, the desk is very comfortable, with a Herman Miller chair and free wireless internet.
