2 reviews for Hilton Garden Inn
Is this the nicest hotel I've ever been to? No. Is it the most awesome hotel I've been to for the price? YES!
We are having some major plumbing work done on our house. The water had to be turned off for 24 hours, so Sugar Bear and decided to stay in a hotel for the evening. After checking around for Addison hotels, I found the Hilton Garden Inn. It had the highest reviews on my search and an online coupon. Rooms are usually between $110 and $135 per night, but this coupon was for $69...but there was a glitch--the coupon was for weekend stays only and we were staying on a weeknight. I called to see if they would honor it anyway, and THEY DID!
Then the drama...our plumbers got behind schedule and we had to move our hotel stay to a different night. Would they still honor the same rate when we were moving to another night? Resounding YES!
The beds were super comfy. There was a flat screen TV with lots of channels to choose from (this feature dazzled these non-television watchers). There was a fridge, microwave and little coffee pot for the kitchen amenities. The bathroom was sufficient and I like that they have Neutrogena products.
The staff was outstanding. I was checked in quickly and professionally. The hotel was also immaculate. It is a small business hotel, so they don't really have room service but Duke's will deliver food to your room for a 20% surcharge and tip. There is also a well stocked, help yourself, food area that has wine, beer, soft drinks, candy, nuts, microwave dinners, and anything you may have forgotten to pack (like toothpaste or shaving cream).
They do offer a breakfast buffet option ($9), but I did not try anything. There is also a chef who will concoct a 'made to order' breakfast including waffles and/or omelets. There is a lovely, sunny breakfast area to enjoy your meal if you choose to partake.
My brief stay was excellent. Is it a designer boutique hotel? No, but I would not expect that for $69 a night. It is the best business type hotel I've stayed at, and we got a lot of bang for our buck.

Was in Dallas for business and my travel agent booked me at the Hilton Garden Inn. I have to admit, I did have problem find this place as it is not on Belt Line Road but tucked away in the back corner behind the Wing and Pizza Restaurant in the corner of the Sam's Club Market. Trust me, sounds a lot worst than what it is.
But like all Hilton Garden Inn's this place is designed for the business traveler. The place is clean and well kept up. The main lobby has a nice open feel to it. The Manager was there at the front desk and very helpful and friendly. He had all of my information and gave me the key to my room.
Got to my room and it was a nice clean room with a queen size bed. Layout was nice and nothing seemed cluttered. You have a separate bathroom that has the sink, shower, and toilet in the same room. Only had a single sink. The desk was nice and big with both power and internet connection right there. You do get free internet but got to run a pop-up while online. I believe they do have WiFi but I didn't check it out. Also if you need to print things, they have a cool function inside the hotel room where you can "print" things from your computer and go down to the business center and pick it up. The business center is small. Maybe can fit 2 people but looks like it has everything you could need or want. Also from my room had a nice view of the pool and spa and from what I can tell it was clean. TV all of your basic channels including 1 HBO. Bed was nice and comfortable and pillows were just find. The only noise I could here is that this place is near Addison Airport and you would get some Airport sound. But they do have sound restricts on when planes can fly, so it won't be keeping you up at night.
They do not offer lunch or dinner time dinning. But Belt Line is chalked full of places to eat at that are open late and there are a couple of places within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. But they do offer breakfast here for $9. If you're looking to eat for the sake of eating and looking for connvinance, this will do. If you're looking for something more, skip it. It basically a Continental breakfast except they have Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Sausage. They also have batter to make your own waffles to.
Overall spent about $109 for the room. Not too bad. Would definitely considering staying here again. Solid 3 star and good business class hotel.
