I stay here when I am in the area on business. Being a Hilton aficionado I would say that this isnt one of the more upscale Hilton's but it does what it is supposed to do which is give you a place to rest your head at night. Its pretty no frills but its not a Motel 6 either. The restaurant isnt bad, if not just a tad overpriced. Room service on the other hand is just ridiculous ($43 for soup, a hamburger, 2 sodas and a desert!)
I stay here because its in our corporate directory, but if I were to be the one paying, I would probably be looking elsewhere, moreso just because I think there are better values out there for your own dollar.
The banquets that I have been to here vary every time. Sometimes the food is bad sometimes its very good. I have never stayed here though. I usually come her once to twice a month for events. They must have very good pricing available for group events.
They can host conventions, luncheons and awards ceremony's. Its always very clean and the service is excellent. Again about the food its usually chicken. I don't think I've had another kind of meat, and the chicken is usually dry.
The dessert I have had here has always been excellent. Once they served this egg looking thing that on the inside was half mango sherbert half vanilla and in the center, (the yolk) was raspberry sherbert. The outside was a hard shell of white chocolate. It was amazing to look at and even better to eat.

There's a reason everyone get's a good deal here! The place S--ks!
Rooms are dirty, elevators broken and very slow! Employees that were off the clock were in the lobby on cell phones laying down on the sofa's. Where is the mgmt.
We booked for two nights only had me for one night asked to extend and said they could not, I'd have to check out and then check back in. Yeah strange policy! Plenty of rooms available go figure!
I won't be back to this place! Guaranteed!

I got a really good deal on http://priceline.com ($55 a night) for this hotel. I brought my puppy Casey with me and we were able to just hang out and veg during our stay.
Service was great and the room was clean and spacious. We ordered room service and the food was delivered in less than 20 minutes! Double plus.
The only negative is they charge a $75 non-refundable deposit if you bring your pets with you. Oh and there's no gym on the premise. Restaurants are conveniently located across the street and they have an Italian restaurant located right downstairs.

Stopped here as I couldnt drive no-mo. It is close enough to most attractions in the Bay Area and I used to live in Concord so it seemed fitting. Was to play golf early the next morning in Vallejo and thats maybe a 15 mile trip. The hotel gave me a pretty good rate as a walk-in and I stayed 2 nights to soak in all the wonderment of Concord and the hotels amenities.
Had dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant. Nothing special but convenient as all get outta here. Butternut raviolis in a nice cram sauce with many Jack/Cokes. A local singer/songwriter on guitar crooned the small crowd with classic hits.
Just to confirm others reviews, there are several choices for entertainment and food within walking distance.
Concord is your everyday suburban city with strip malls on every block along with more fast food places than you can count. Its a shame that its overrun with chainstore everything and you really have no choice but to patronize them unless you live there and know the places regulars go.

This is a nice hotel, a bit lower on the Hilton Hotel brand chain than most locations, but clean and neat. Service is good. There are 11 floors in this suburban setting, with ample parking. Across Diamond Blvd are your chain type restuarants, like Claim Jumper, and the WIlows center has a few other selections, too, like Benihana, and on Willow Pass there are more nearby, like Elephant Bar. However, their own restaurant, Grissini's is very good for moderately priced Italian specialties hotel food.
They have several meeting rooms here, adaptable to a range of sizes.
The guest rooms themselves are average in size, so nothing disappointing or spectacular about them. The king bed is comfy and there is a nice size desk to work on. They do have smoking floors for those of you who indulge, unlike Marriotts, which went smoke free recently.
Check in is 3:00 and check out is 12, which is better than many that have gone to 4pm check in and 11am check out. Must have been negoatiations with the Maid's union!
PS - I got a weekend rate of $86! Good deal. I think the weekday rate is about $139.

This hotel is like many other business hotels - its a little tired on the outside, but they've put a lot of effort into parts of it. The lobby is where they put the most part of the effort.
My company had a conference here and it was a little frustrating that the wireless in the meeting rooms was a different network from the rest of the hotel. On all of the breaks, I'd head out to the lobby to get a signal. Compounding the signal issues, AT&T's cellular coverage in the hotel sucked!
But back on the hotel. They offer pickup at the BART station, though when you call, they don't specify which side you should be on. It's not a logical thought that they would be on the side with the transit buses. And it doesn't start before 7am.
At 6:45 when I found out that they didn't start their shuttle until 7am, I decided I would wait patiently. During that time, the front desk staff switched and when I came up at 7:03 to ask if I could get the shuttle, the lady said, "It doesn't start until..." then she realized the time.
She called a taxi and said that they would cover it, if the taxi got here before the shuttle guy did. That was a very nice touch.
The rooms were clean and spacious, though nothing special about them. It is located close to restaurants and shopping across the street, so you aren't just stuck with the hotel restaurant if you travel here.
Although a little farther away, the Hilton Concord was a solid stay and a good 50 percent cheaper than staying in a Napa Valley or Fairfield hotel.
I was a little nervous on approach to the property. It looked a little old school from the exterior, but the lobby and room met the new Hilton chain standards.
This must be one of the area's nicest (or best bang-for-the-buck) properties. Two wedding receptions took place the night we stayed there.
And there's a wide range of restaurants within 2-3 miles. I'll never diss Concord again.

I enjoyed the two-nights stay here. One of my best friends had his wedding reception here in the Grand Ballroom. I would recommend checking out the ballroom if you're planning a wedding here. It was huge with an accomodation of 400 people with a grand dance floor, entourage table and stage. The antique chandeliers brought enough lighting for everyone to enjoy a candle light dinner. Try the Salmon! It was delicious with the spagetti squash and wild rice. I really think my buddy Eric and his wife, Ruth, did some research. Everyone at our table enjoyed that Salmon. I wish I made time to ask about their Salmon sauce.
Although I didn't spend much time in the room - the service was great. Room was cleaned by the time I got home each night (maybe because I got in at 3am). The front lobby has valet baggage check-in and a bar across the check in desk. There is a pool and spa as well as small fitness center.
Highlights: Willows shopping and dining center is across the street. You can leave your car in the Hilton parking lot and walk to: Claim Jumpers, Fuddruckers, Any Mountain, and Compuse. There are other shops but I didn't find enough time to explore.
The room was dusty and the bathroom was dirty. The door leading to the adjacent room was not locked, the toilet ran all the time until you jiggle the handle a little and some of the lamps in the room were unplugged from the outlet. Housekeeping only gave us one bath towel for the room and the AC was loud. Housekeeping needs to do a more thorough job here. This hotel needs a lot of revamping in their rooms. Although we got free parking and paid only $65 via priceline, this ain't worth it. I can't believe they charge people $165 per night on their website.
Had a really positive experience with the staff at the front desk particularly the director of operations Maria. the small problem I had on check in was quickly and professionally resolved. enjoyed our stay and the restaurant as well and would not hesitate to go back.
Found a great deal for this hotel on priceline. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Rooms were extremely nice...there was some type of Prom or something going on, besides the rediculous prices for room service, this place is great!

Very nice in and out. they have good folks working there. Good views from different angles of the building. One time I stayed there and got a good view of Mt. Diablos. Very nice. The rooms are great too. Esp. the more affordable ones, very nice decor. Check it out.
After a long drive up north from LA with J driving stick shift with a badly sprained ankle, we finally arrived at the hotel to find that it was overbooked and our reserved room was no longer available to us. Grrr!!! We had called to let them know in advance that we would be arriving late, however our room was not held for us. It was very frustrating because this was booked through a corporate account for J's business trip. I don't understand how the hotel could give up a room for a major corporate client of theirs?! There were about 30 other guests from J's company staying in the hotel that same night, and this particular Hilton is often used by the company since the corporate office is just minutes away.
The lady at the front desk was not helpful at all, had a very blah, don't care about you attitude, no customer service whatsoever. She said she could make arrangements for us down the street at the Crowne Plaza. She said it was a "comparable" hotel, but HELLO Crowne Plaza is a step down from the Hilton. The night manager, Mike was very helpful and made every effort to make the situation better. It wasn't his fault because he was left with the mess the previous manager had left behind so we couldn't let out our anger and frustration on him. He apologized repeatedly. He said he'll send a fax to Crowne Plaza, to ask them to try to give us an "upgraded" room, but when we got to Crowne Plaza we found out that all the rooms are pretty much standard rooms, no room for upgrade. =( Wish we could have gotten free room service throughout our stay or something to make up for the huge inconvenience.
Mike was the only positive experience out of this situation....5 stars for Mike's excellent customer service, but due to the frustrating situation I gave the hotel only 2 stars. I just hope the Hilton will take better care of their corporate clients, otherwise they may lose lots future business.
