3 reviews for Hilton Boston-Woburn
Woburn (locally pronounced WOO-bun for us West-Coast folks).
I've stayed here a couple times because its location is near one of my company's office. There's ample outdoor and indoor parking. The lobby is very attractive, and the staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient, allowing me to register quickly, and settle into my room.
There's an atrium in the middle of the hotel where there is a bar and an indoor pool. I haven't tried the restaurant. Adequate fitness center too, with 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 stepper, 2 bikes, 3 machines, dumbells up to 50 lbs, and a bench press.
Rooms are clean, large, and well maintained. Internet access, however, is not free, and they charge $9.95 a day. WiFi was pretty weak in my room so I had to resort to wired access. In spite of this, no other complaints about this place, and would probably stay here again for company business.

The hotel is really close to the highway, but you'll have to navigate a local road to find it (it's actually behind a gas station on a road with a sharp turn, you can't see it from the street unless you're right there). My first impression was that this hotel could be bad, because there were very few cars in the outside lot. When I parked in the indoor garage, I think there was only one other car in there besides mine. The reception area is nice, so were the staff. The check-in process took a while longer than I expected, seeing how the place was near empty. I wanted a regular room but got bumped up to the executive level, nice! I didn't really hang out in the lounge, but there was a piano player and a restaurant in the hotel. Shame that there were so few people there to enjoy it. During my stay, I didn't run into any other guests in the halls. The executive level has its own lounge, with free soda and bottled water. I could've been placed in any room in the entire hotel, but I just had to be placed next to another guest. The walls weren't soundproof so I can hear the guy coughing next door. So yeah, I was happy up until that point. The TVs aren't flat screens, the toilet seat is toooo close to the water, the bed had a chemical smell, but the desk was nice. The room was doable, it wasn't stellar. The room service staff was friendly, the wings that I got weren't bad for hotel food. The hotel is several miles from the Burlington mall, so it's close to a lot of stores for your spending pleasure. Overall I was pleased with the experience, and generously overlooked shortcomings, but it boggles me as to why on earth would the staff place me next to a guy with whooping coughs, when the hotel was near empty. Finally, if you have vertigo, look at the elevator doors or take the stairs when going up/down. Half of the elevator is glass looking out into the hotel.
An unexpectantly nice stay at this location. The people were friendly and the Restaurant (2 Forbes) inside the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean. Price was "ok".
Overall, good experience.
