Review from Steve S.
Stayed here twice this year and really like the hotel. It's perfect if you have an early morning flight out of Logan. You can walk to terminal A but they run a very efficient shuttle every 15 minutes to the other terminals. I've never had much need for the staff but the front desk staff is good an always checks me in quickly. Rooms have been updated recently and have a nice modern feel to them. Big points for outlets by the bed! And the PeterThomasRoth toiletries are a great step up from the usual Neutregena/Crabtree & Evelyn brands you find at other Hilton family hotels. Rooms are very quiet and even though you're right by the Delta terminal, I've never head any plane noise. I've had a corner room both times this year and while it's not always the best view, you can get some decent views of the bay and downtown Boston. Wifi is free for Gold and Diamond Honors members and $9.99/day for others.
Restaurant on site (Connely's) is okay but a bit pricy. And some of the servers can get a bit distracted but overall, it's a decent place to grab a meal and not have to worry about dealing with Boston traffic.
Overall, if you have to stay near the airport, this is the best option! -

I'm in h_ll right now. The walls in my room are paper thin. I can hear everything next door. I travel a lot for work--this is the third city this week, so I'm no novice to hotels. I like the location, but really, a little soundproofing would be nice at this price-point.

I would stay here any day of the week.
Talk about convenient - it is literally hooked up to the airport via an above ground walkway. Check out and walk over to your gate. Awesome - brilliant!
They have a shuttle that will drive you over, if you are that lazy, but just walk, it's faster. The shuttle will also take you to the T. So, you can pretty much get around Boston all day long. It's awesome. One stop to the center of downtown, and many tourist attractions.
The hotel itself is beautiful and typical Hilton high end service. The staff was OK, some were awesome, some sucked - but whatever.
Great Hotel. Great location.
On site coffee shop.
On site restaurant. -

So after the nightmare episode of Courtyard Boston Airport, I tried this place. Wow, what a difference extra $100 makes ($400pn)
Room was nicer, food was nier, and room service!? YES PLEASE!!
Since I was returning a rental car, I didn't walk across to the terminal but this is THE ultimate airport hotel in Boston!! (esp. if you are Delta flyer, it's so easy to walk over to the terminal...think of this in winter season!!)
And check out my photo, you can almost touch the plane!! -

when you have those early morning flights back to the left coast, it is the place to stay and needless to say is like most other airport hotels - food is OK, service is good, and the rooms have a nice view & it is 5 minutes from the terminals ... need I say more?

Great location. This was a very nice property for a Airport Hotel. You can walk via a skybridge to the Delta Terminal. They have plenty of cabs out front if you want to spend a night in the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near BOS. I will be back.

Review from Leanne C.
Well, on the positive side, I was the LAST flight out before the crazy blizzard earlier this week. There were no full-body scans running and I didn't have to even get pat down. The security line was non-existent.
There were some Starbucks, pubs, Au Bon Pain's, and other side shops for your over-priced eating pleasure; I'm sure a lot of the stranded travelers enjoyed them. I enjoyed my Bold Roast coffee from Starbucks.
We were stuck in "taxi-ing" mode for 1.5 hours, but aside from that my experience at this airport was pretty decent.
On the pick-up side: I've had to pick friends up from this airport before and it is CHAOTIC. Pay close attention to the way the terminals split off and the over-aggressive taxi drivers. -

My first time flying into Boston Logan. Nice airport. Efficient. Clean. Good choice of restaurants.
Since I was flying in and out of Boston on Southwest, I appreciated that Southwest was in the same terminal as the International terminal since I was flying international to/from Iceland.
I'd like to visit Boston again and explore the area. -

I like this whole European style bed craze. The high thread count sheets. Duvets rather than blankets. I feel like a prince. Or a French aristocrat. One look out of my massive window reveals FedEx planes being loaded. So dream over. But still, very nice bed. Nicely appointed room. Fairly reasonably priced mini-bar ($5 Miller beer) when you can't find anymore open tabs in the bar. Nice 32" HD plasma TV with HBO.
I was with a group and was impressed with the food and service. It is indeed convenient to the airport...like right on the tarmac. So, you're in Boston much like you're in San Francisco at the San Francisco airport...in other words, you're not.
That said, for an airport business hotel, they pull it off nicely. Hilton has stepped things up in general in the last year or two while Marriott has declined. I may switch allegiance.
Edit: I just found out that parking is $35 a day. I drive a Beetle. I'm here for 4 days. That's not a parking fee, it's a repurchase. -

I recently had to stay at the Hilton at Logan when entertaining visiting coworkers and my experience for the most part was pleasant. Accommodations were satisfactory, my wakeup was prompt and the breakfast I ordered through room service was delicious. My only complaint is the parking kiosk was broken so I had to park my car once again and troop back inside to pay at the counter. A bit annoying but it was fine.

We're fans. Not exactly a new hotel, but still elegant in its own way, with a beautiful, atrium-like lobby, a friendly staff, and a great gym, including a large pool and hot tub. Our room was a bit on the small side, but was very clean and new-looking, with upgrades including HDTV. Best of all, this hotel is connected directly to the Boston airport via skyway (terminals A or E). This was a godsend for our family, arriving on a late flight which was further delayed due to bad weather. We didn't need to mess with the rental car or with driving until the next morning. (And the shuttle here will take you directly to the rental car areas, so you can bypass the airport system). Unfortunately there is no self-parking at the hotel, only valet ($18/day!).
Restaurant options inside include a very respectable café, a restaurant serving full breakfast (including buffet) and a pub/restaurant, open till midnight. -

Like a another reviewer said " Definitely a little pricy, "
But for the conveinence of being right at the airport and $15 cab ride from downtown and Fenway Park totally worth it.
I was there Boston Marathon Weekend and it was right on the money as many other out of town marathoners were there also. The shuttle bus service work out very well if you want to take the train any place too.
Hotel was vert Marathoner friendly.
The hotel food and restaurant was adequate but pricey - I often walked into the airport during my 3 day stay and ate in the bars there so it was cool.
The rooms are nice but T-Mobile cell service is bad and wireless access in the room is $15/ day - better of buy a week at $40.
All in all great place to stay for 3 days but no more -

I am only writing about my limited non-hotel guest experience with this Hilton. If you have traveled for business you know that Hiltons are predictable and largely based on the age of the facility. As the previous reviewer wrote, everything is extra and it is a place for expense accounts.
I was recently at a business retreat here, and have very positive things to say overall. First of all, I have been the organizer and go-to person for events for years and have a hard time not noticing and telling folks when ice is missing or we need to re-orient a buffet table before 200 people hit it. What I can say is that our food was wonderful and our staff was on top of it. My organization was one of three that day with at least a couple of hundred people there -- they got it right. Event people out there -- please note that they made everyone happy.
The down-side to the Hilton is the parking for really busy days. The lot for the Hilton fills and you end up with a bit of figuring out how to get to the central garage. The good news is the parking there is plenty, there is a rate, and there is public transportation -

I know what you're thinking. This hotel is physically attached to the airport, so it's going to be like sleeping on the runway. Fortunately, that's not the case, for whatever reason. This is pretty much your typical Hilton set up with nice beds, nice TVs in the rooms, and nausea-inducing carpet in the hallways.
I didn't give it 5 stars because both of the restaurants are pretty mediocre, and unlike other hotels in Boston, there's not a lot of competition from other restaurants, so if you want to lay low, you have to choose between bar food or the other restaurant that's one step up from Village Inn. -

Stayed here a few times. Excellent rooms, clean and always tidy. The beds are comfortable and the views of the city are worth a million bucks. The staff is very helpful, patient, and professional. If you are looking for an affordable way to see Boston, this is it! Free shuttle to the Blue Line, minutes away from the entire city. I highly recommend this hotel, it's one of the finest in the city. 5/5

Once I finally found this hotel .. wow that was a struggle .. I grew to love it!
I had an early flight out and wanted to be real close to the airport .. this was perfect!!! It just took me 10 minutes to walk to terminal A and I was through security in another 10 minutes .. nice! I used my Hilton Honors points to pay for my stay so I can't comment on the price. The room was reasonably sized and view was pretty sweet. -

This Hilton is like most I've stayed at. Clean room, comfortable bed, but with pretty much everything extra, well, costing extra. One particularly egregious cheapskate-ness I noticed was that they charge you for an extra little toothpaste or cheapo disposable razor... you know, the sort of thing that 99% of other hotels in the world gladly offer their guests for free.
Internet access, of course, also isn't free. I want to know why do the "cheap" hotels like Best Western and such all offer free breakfasts and free wireless... but "four star" [sic] places like Hilton charge extra (and usually a LOT extra) for practically everything.
At least, in this particular Hilton, the gym was free and included a reasonably clean and enjoyable hot tub and pool combo. And you can't beat the location of this hotel for airport-convenience; it's literally a 5-10 minute walk from one of the terminals (or you can take the free shuttle bus if you're feeling lazy or bogged down by a bunch of bags).
Downside of that location? Well, unless you take the T into the city, you'll be bored out of your mind and far, far, far from any decent restaurants (disclaimer: I didn't try the hotel pub or restaurant, but I'm always suspicious of those).
Lastly... I do have to express some pleasure at getting a damn good rate for this place via Priceline. $71 (plus taxes, fees) for a room that normally cost more than $250 a night, from what I can tell. Definitely a bargain! -

very nice hotel and connected TO the terminals! How great is that!
Staff are great, rooms very nice.
My only complaint is the limited selection of food priced lower than $10. I paid $3 for a cup of milk and balked at the $12-15 selections for breakfast...If I were at a grocery stored I'd easily spend about $3 on these items, not $12!
Other than that, this hotel is a great choice if you need a nice hotel to stay at near/at the airport. Hilton hotels always exceed my expectations! -
Review from Brad B.
This Hilton is better than some but, worse than most.
Rooms: LCD in residence with sleep function (you'd be shocked at how many hiltons don't have tv's with sleep timers), stylish room design, decent bathroom and shower.
Resto's: The Pub is horrble. Loud. Poor menu. Expensive. The "fine dining" resto is slightly better with more useful dinner choices but, I asked for some creamed spinach on the side with my lamb chops and the staff didn't know how to make it. Are you serious? Whatever.
Shuttle: I am apparently rather funny at 5AM Eastern (4AM CT, body time) because the driver laughed at just about everything I said to him. Fast and efficient delivery for my crazy-early flight to DFW.
All-in-all, for a place to eat dinner and lay one's head for a few hours between flights, not bad...but, not good either. -

I attended a conference here. Unfortunately there was nothing else around but the airport, so I regretfully ate at the hotel restaurant one day and brought my lunch the next. The staff was pleasant and I was glad they had a business center on the ground floor and second floor so I could do my surfing before the conference. The bathrooms are clean as well as the conference rooms that have big beautiful chandeliers. I was disappointed that their coffee bar closed after noon, just when I needed a warm pick-me-up. It's great that the shuttle to and from the airport is timely (if you decide not to take the skywalk). I didn't get to see the rooms, but I would not have paid the advertised price to sleep here, a distance away from the city.

On top of attending the two wedding events that Jenn C wrote about, my little group spent our first night in Boston at this hotel. I had requested early check in, since I knew our plane was supposed to arrive in Boston a little before Noon. It was nearly 2pm before our room was ready, but that's still better than 3pm. The concierge was more than happy to hold our luggage for us while we waited in comfortable chairs, used their computers, and ate at their restaurant during our wait.
Within about 20 minutes of being in our room the two people I shared a room with were in bed and asleep. WTF? We get to Boston and they go to sleep. I bummed around the room for a few hours, took a cat nap, got online. But a little before 5 when it was obvious that I was going to have to go out and explore on my own... I went down to the concierge and asked for directions.
They told me exactly where to go and I went and spent my first evening in Boston walking around Faneiul Hall. I got back about 9pm and had a great night's sleep.
The next morning we checked out of the Hilton and asked for a shuttle ride over to the Hyatt. We wouldn't have moved, but even with the "Room Block" rates for the wedding... the Hilton was $100 more a night than the Hyatt.
The two events the Hilton hosted were great and the staff were very accommodating. One of the servers at the Sunday morning breakfast even recognized Tracey and I from the reception on Saturday night at the other hotel and told us to come back to Boston soon.
Trust me, we can't wait. -

Hotel Bars are another universe.
Honest to God.
They exist outside the norm in every way imaginable: prices, service, kitchen hours. And thank goodness for it.
And you can get there via the moving walkway from Terminal A (with voice-over'd welcomes from our governor and the mayor), a quick trip though the parking ramp past the 9/11 memorial and through another space-age carpeted tunnel to . . . corporate glory.
It's a space-age carpet, polished wood veneers, strange statues and sky-high lobby atrium'd, "your event could be here!" glory.
All of this can be had for free, for anyone, past midnight. Or any time.
And the bonus? Even then, it's *still* not too late to order buffalo wings with that $7 beer.
Killing time before picking up guests on a delayed flight was never so hospitable. -

I was meant to stay in the Hilton in Dedham and my company messed up and put me in the Hilton Logan Airport instead.
I must admit it is a very classy and beautifully decorated hotel with a huge , open lobby with two restaurants and a cafe. One restaurant is meant to be pub-like while the other is a proper restaurant and thus priced like a proper restaurant in an airport Hilton...in Boston ( a bit steep!).
The hotel is perfectly located in terms of being close to the airport as it is literally a skybridge walk away from the terminals. Unbelievable how close it is and how little noise I heard from the planes. Well done on the super thick windows. If your room is in the front of the hotel, you will no doubt have a great view of the city. Really nice at night.
The rooms are immaculate. As Brian B. said, the duvet and sheets are of ultimate quality and provide unmatched comfort. You really will consider reading the catalog in the room and possibly buying the bed set when you get home. The 32" HD plasma is a great touch and makes TV viewing a bit more enjoyable. The room was very clean and made me feel very comfortable.
Just like every other Hilton in the US, however, anything beyond the room seems to cost extra. Parking was a whopping 28.00 a night for self park and 35.00 for valet. Unreal! I guess they have to stop people from leaving their cars there and going to the airport, but they could always give their customers a card to get in and out of the parking lot.
At 270 a night plus tax and parking, I'd definitely say this is a more business-trip oriented, expensable, hotel. There aren't any places for food nearby unless you head to the city which is kind of annoying because after the tolls and parking you pay there, the meal pretty much doubles.
If you are looking at a Hilton in Boston, check the Hilton Dedham or even the Hilton Woburn. They aren't terribly far from the city and they are more reasonably priced than the Hilton Logan Airport. -

Los Angeles, CA
I liked this hotel as I stayed here on 2 separate occasions during the past week and it was clean, comfortable and convenient. I got both of my rooms on Priceline at below $100 rates during the week and was quite pleased with the location, where it is actually connected to the airport (via covered walkways). On my first stay, I was given a room with a view towards the Boston cityscape, while not as pretty as the view from the Hyatt, it was still pretty.
The only restaurant open was Connelly's Pub (Berkshire's is for Breakfast only) and while it was nice inside, it was definitely overpriced ($17 for a hamburger?) and the service wasn't that friendly. If I had my druthers, I would have taken the shuttle to the T-station and gone to the North End for some better food but it's convenient at the hotel if you're too tired to leave.
Nice fitness center which was bigger than most places (they called it a Health Club), with quite a few cardio machines, a nice pool and whirlpool (which I couldn't use because of too many kids) and locker rooms that have dry/steam saunas in them. Rooms were comfortable and clean and I never heard one plane and rarely any of my neighbors.
Checked in late (12:30am) on my second stay and I actually walked there from Terminal B (about 5-10 mins). It's easier from A or E but still walkable from the other terminals if you're brave enough and can figure it out. Since it was rainy the next morning, I spent most of it inside and ventured to one of the Terminals for breakfast (cheaper than the hotel). Quite happy with the location and comfort of the hotel and never had a bad interaction with the staff. Wi-Fi is not free but sometimes if you go to the computers behind the lobby, you might find a hotel computer where someone paid for time and then left...... -

Hi. My names Hilton. I'm a HUGE hotel and i live right beside the airport. I love to watch planes fly over my head all day. They look like big birds.
I just hosted the Easties Elves charity event this past weekend. I also sponsored the food and drink for this event. I guess last year it cost me too much money so this year i only opened 3 tiny bars with 1 bartender each so that people would have to get in line for an hour just to get a drink! I am a sneaky hotel!! :D
The one thing I really hate to do more than anything in the whole wide world is call cabs for customers when they ask me to. If those people just stand outside for an hour in the freezing cold they can probably just get their own cab. I mean do they think these phonecalls are free??
Jeez......... -

Very disappointed with the actions of several staff members. A staff member took my companions phone from her room, (had to disconnect it from the charger), then security, the front desk and the manager all said it was our fault, it didn't happen, then became abusive when we asked for their names so we could write an accurate report for our company... I felt like I was on the playground in Jr. High School again...

Very good location as others have mentioned, right at the airport, and even connect by a tunnel to a couple of the terminals. There is also a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes, so there is no concern about getting to the airport. There is also a departure monitor in the lobby where you can check on your flight's gate and status. The airport shuttle will also drop you at the T station which is quite literally maybe 10 minutes in the shuttle from the hotel (this time includes dropping other passengers off at the airline check-in areas). I'll give this property the edge over the Embassy Suites at Logan because it is connected to the airport, and its decor has been more recently updated. In a pinch, they also have a business center where you can surf the net and print for free, not a bad bonus!

There was nothing spectacular about this hotel. I therefore do not understand why I had to pay $199 plus tax for a one night stay after I got off the plane around midnight.
Oh and they promote they're connected to the airport and how convenient, yada yada..... but reality is, I walked about 3 miles in heels with huge suitcases to get there. Seriously, 3 elevators, across one bridge, through 2 terminals (with poor signage). This was after a long flight and I was grumpy so maybe I am dramatizing a tad... -
Review from Lena D.
this particular hilton has an outstanding staff. they are super professional and friendly.. and after a long redeye flight... it's a pleasant surprise to be greeted with smiles.
you can walk to the hotel from the airport since it's connected. this can be good or bad depending on where your gate is. the shuttle service isn't worth it because you can walk there in the time you wait for the shuttle. so minus points for being in between too close and far. the walk is doable only if you don't have a ton of bags.
the furniture in the rooms are better at this location than others. the coffee maker is the same.. the TV is flatscreen which is nice compared to other locations *ahem* LAX.... lol.. and i like the full length mirror unlike other locations.. *cough cough* LAX again.. haha
i don't particularly care for the bath products.. they smell kinda funny..
now that i've written my review.. i can head to bed! -

The Airport Hilton is a good hotel and one I recommend to friends and colleagues because of its location and facilities. It hosts a decent restaurant called Connolly's Pub, which is basically a sports bar and one that I frequent. The Connolly's staff is friendly, but the restaurant management is somewhat aloof and rarely say hello to regular customers. John and Dave -- bartenders -- are noteworthy and consummate professionals who treat their customers well, know how to make drinks and are consistently friendly. They are outstanding bartenders. They are as good as the bartenders at Grill 23, Boston's finest restaurant and one I frequent regularly, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback with the Airport Hilton is in the kitchen. The menu, unfortunately, changes as frequently as the seasons. For example, Connolly's used to have a superb apple pie a la mode. In fact, it was arguably the finest apple pie dessert in Boston. Tonight, however, I discovered that they changed the menu and dropped the apple pie. The excuse (I was told) is that there is a "new chef." That is a lousy excuse and any chef who changes a menu that is successful should either: (a) be fired; (b) leave; or (c) listen to customers before changing the menu. I seriously doubt he wants to speak to his customers, so he should be subject to a or b. If management is behind this policy, then they need to be replaced first. Companies that discard successful products or services merely because they think customers want change for the sake of change are destined to fail.
Can someone please direct me to a restaurant in Boston that serves apple pie a la mode as great as Connolly's use to do? -

I stayed there during a layover, and everything people have noted is true (but it's not a little pricey, it's astoundingly pricy). It is a lovely location, within walking distance of the airport through a covered walk way. It is a 10 min. walk, though, and I wonder if the Hyatt is closer, particularly in time. The staff are somewhat well trained, but not completely well trained, and the hotel itself is pretty well maintained and in good condition.
The reason I would not go back is that the prices for other amenities are not high, but morally offensively high; higher than New York or Toyko. The wireless is $15/day. I pay that a month at home, so the mark up is 3000%. Stay at another hotel in about 15 chains, and it's free. Breakfast, either at their starbucks or in the hotel room (coffee, juice, muffin, banana) is $17 to $25. that's a markup of at least 300% from the high street price. A snack in the bar was $15 for mac and cheese (child's portion) and a poor, small glass of wine was $10. I recken dinner at the pub (pub!) there would cost about $80 (appetizer, main, 2 drinks). So, there's high prices, and extortion, and then this place. I've stayed a a hotel in Japan, the most expensive one, which was cheaper. But like many Hilton's, it's where (physical location) you want to or had to stay. -

My return flight from Japan to JFK could not land after an attempted landing due to high winds so we were diverted to Boston Logan- a big disappointment. at the end of a long flight. However, my depressed evening was turned around by my spectacular overnight stay at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport hotel. It was an easy walk through some covered passage ways from the airport to the hotel, which was comfortable during bad weather. The hotel, rooms and even the restaurant were quite comfortable and welcomed for this weary traveller.

I don't mind spending upwards of two hundred plus dollars for a nice hotel room once in a while... And this is a nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. But I expect quality for such money and you are just not getting your money's worth at a Hilton, especially one located at an airport, isolated from any other commercial options. The hotel seems to take advantage of the fact that you cannot just pop out quickly for a bite to eat (especially if you have no car with you--which seems to cost an additional $50 to park) by overcharging for the simplest things. Now, we are not just talking about the pricey pub ($15 for a "just ok" burger), that is to be expected. But a breakfast of a coffee and a bagel cost me $8. When I asked for it toasted, I was greeted with a surly attitude and 30 seconds in the microwave. And the bagel was chewy. In the room: no fridge, a tv with terrible reception, no microwave, not even a dresser. I guess it is convenient for airport traveler, pilots, etc., but for the rest of us, go downtown. This place sucks, is boring, and not worth the price.

My flight got cancelled due to weather, so I was ready to just get a room, and fly out of Boston the next day. The shuttle was prompt, and the driver helpful, which made the flight cancelling not a big deal. The Hilton was beautifully decorated, statues, gold accents, and professional front desk staff made me wish I was staying for longer than one night. My room was on the 9th floor, and I had a city view which I requested, in place of the airport view. I had the two double bed room, and there was plenty of space for me and my two kids to stretch out, and relax.

Not worth it for the price. The location is only convenient if you are utilizing terminal A, otherwise you will have a really long walk lugging luggage. It is not like there are any carts or anything to make the walk easier. Restaurant was okay, but room service was totally ridiculous. Paid nearly $30 for two slices of Boston Cream Pie of their own invention- not like any Boston Cream Pie I have ever had-- and not in a good way. To boot the bellman was really rude, lots of Boston attitude.

Stayed here courtesy of American Airlines cancelling my flight to Seattle. Great convenient location right on the airport grounds. We had an early morning departure and it was nice to be at the counter 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the shuttle driver was fantastic! Dropped us off at the Blue line so we could take the T into town and picked us up upon return. They have a really nice bar/restaurant so you don't even have to leave the hotel.

I landed at the airport and took a 5 minute walk across the skybridge directly to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful, the exercise facilities, pool & steam room were exceptional. The shuttle bus was always available and took us to the transit system, rental car companies and the airport.
Why not 5 stars? I would stay here again, but will not eat at the restaurants. The service at the Berkshires Restaurant and the service at the Cafe Presto coffe bar were absolutely horrible. Although the restaurant closes for breakfast at 11am, we arrived at 10:45am for the $22 breakfast buffet. The waitress told me: "hurry up because I am closing the buffet in a few minutes. After not having water or our table or approached by the waitress for coffee or drinks, the busboy put a pot of coffee on our table. After 1/2 hour, we complained to the restaurant manager and the waitress came to our table of 10 and lectured us by saying: "You People come in here 15 minutes before we close and expect to be served?" We then complained to the hotel manager, who comped our entire $220+ meal. If the waitress would have done her job, we would have been out of there by 11:15am and she would have earned a $40.00 tip for an extra 15 minutes of work.
The next day 5 of our group went for coffee at Cafe Presto at 12:20pm (they close at 12:30pm). The server said: "I close at 12:30, I've been here since 3:45am, I'm tired and am off at 12:30pm - so I can only take 2 drink orders." After she was promised an additional tip that she agreed to make the 3 extra coffees. She had all 5 coffees poured by 12:30pm.
