This is not your average side-o'-the-road rest stop. I was able to get a decent Slim Jim and a bottle of water at a fair price ... but that's something you could do just about anywhere. The place gets a plus for the vintage, black-and-white movie star portraits on the wall; and a minus for not having prices on anything. A plus for having a friendly staff; and a minus for not having a Coca-Cola slurpee.
But what sets this place apart are the shower, lounge and laundry services advertised on the sign. I don't know how much these things cost or how people who drive vehicles with fewer than 18 wheels can take advantage of them. But it's certainly worth an inquiry.
