Review from shannon l.

I had the most amazing experience with the folks at this stable! The wrangler was patient and very helpful showing me how to prepare a horse to ride. My husband and I paid for an hour lesson/ride and after taking an hour to set up the horses, we rode for a full hour.
We came back a couple days later and paid for two hours - Steve, our wrangler, brought along a second wrangler for the sole purpose of carrying our camera for us and getting FABULOUS shots of us riding through the desert. No trails - just a leisurely ride through the cactus and hills.
The price was less than half what we were quoted by other stables and I can't imagine a better experience. I learn something every time we go.
I should also mention... my husband has a fear of horses, but after these two rides, he is eager to ride again. I don't have a fear of horses, and I CAN'T WAIT to ride again!
It's a pretty good drive, but is TOTALLY worth it. -

Just had a work outing here. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Had a lot of fun and would certainly do it again.

They conduct both trail rides and lessons. If you go for lessons, the experience will be a little different from what you will find at most stables around Phoenix. To begin with, before you are allowed on a horse you have to learn a few basics about peparring the horse, putting the saddle and headstall on. This contracts with out fits that get you up on the horse as quickly as possible. Then benefit is that it relieves some of the anxiety you may feel approaching a 1,000 lb animal. This makes learning easier, plus the horse can sense and may respond to any discomfort you may have.
Steve and his wranglers take extra efforts with their clients. They seem to be doing what they love -- it's more than just a business.
