Review from Brian K.
Los Angeles, CA
By now all the 5-star reviews for this shop should speak for themselves, but I still feel compelled to add my two cents. I brought my Mazda 3s into the shop and left it with the owner, Elliot. He and his employees were very friendly and their shop was extremely clean. The admission process was painless and easy. I left my car there on December 6, 2011 and it was returned to me on January 31, 2012. So, nearly two months to fix a major rear end collision. This may seem a little excessive, but the long wait was in no way the fault of Elliot or any of his employees, but rather my insurance company (State Farm), which tried to screw me in every way imaginable. They wanted to put a used suspension into a new vehicle, slap bondo onto bent metal instead of replacing it, demanded substandard aftermarket parts instead of quality OEM, sent checks for the wrong amount and then canceled them, wrote incorrect invoices to the shop... the list goes on. Their incompetence basically made my life hell and made it very difficult for Elliot to do his job.
Despite this, Elliot fought State Farm tooth and nail for almost two months to FORCE them to fix my car the way it should be fixed, with all OEM parts and quality workmanship. He made the adjusters come out 5 or 6 times until they gave him what he wanted. He refused to perform the substandard repairs they were demanding of him and forced them to step up to the level of quality to which he holds himself and all his employees. And he kept me informed of what was going on through 1 or 2 phone calls every week. He always called me personally (never an assistant) and explained everything in layman's terms. I felt very confident with the quality of the repairs he was doing, even though State Farm was doing their very best to prevent them.
If I had taken my car to one of the many shops that are in bed with the insurance companies, they probably would have caved in and done a quick, lousy repair. But at Hi-Quality the car came back to me looking BETTER than it did before my accident. Elliot had the car detailed inside and out (including the engine) and fixed some dings and scratches not caused by the accident, and he did all that for free even though he was under no obligation. His level of customer service was outstanding. Hi-Quality has made me a customer for life. -

Fantastic body shop! My car's roof was dented pretty bad by an evil tree, and Hi-Quality Auto was wonderful the whole time. They made the best decision about fixing my roof. I was able to drop the car off, go out of town, and have my roommate pick it up from them with no trouble at all.
My car looks amazing, it's like a new car and I couldn't be happier with the work that they did! -

Deserves more than 5 stars,
I went there 2 days ago to get my small scratch fixed, the gentlemen pointed out that I will have to repaint the whole body panel to get the scratch fixed, he recommended me to touch it up. Luckily I got the paint and he helped me to wipe off the dirt and touch it up, the work was nice and professional, moreover he charged me for free. I insisted to give him 20 bucks to at least buy him a lunch, he refused.
In conclusion, this body shop is very honest and friendly. -

Everything was better at Hi-Quality. When I stopped by on a weeknight before they closed to get an estimate on my driver door, Edgar looked at the damage and said I should bring it back so that he could take the door apart to give me a more accurate estimate. I brought it back on the weekend and he had an estimate within an hour which was lower than the first auto body who did not even offer to take the door apart to look at the damage.
A month or two later I finally was ready to bring the car in. Evonne took care of ordering the parts and scheduling my drop off time and calling the car rental company. It was easy to call and email her for any questions. The repair took 7 business days. The owner (Elliot) called me during the process to go over some charges since I was not going through insurance. He took the time to scrutinize the bill and was able to re-use some old parts my previous door instead of charging me more for new ones (which they would usually do when charging Insurance). Alex called me when the car was ready and Evonne took car of the final payment and paper work.
I was shocked at how nice my car looked. Of course, the door was replaced and back to normal. But they also detailed the interior and exterior of the car and even the ENGINE. All the parts under the hood are now clean and shinny. They also cleaned the plastic over my headlights (at my request) since they were getting foggy. They definitely went beyond just fixing my damaged door. I would come back here any time I need body repair. The customer service and detailing itself is worth coming back :) -

A few months ago, my girlfriend had a minor accident and needed her door panel replaced in her car. We looked for a body shop that was close to us, but didn't find one that we liked. So I got on Yelp and looked around for a shop. I read the reviews on Yelp for Hi-Quality and was impressed by all the reviews left by satisfied customers. Anyhow, I had an accident myself and took my car there to get it fixed. So happy with the service.. Thanks Hi-Quality, you are the best

I'm soo happy I found this autobody through YELP. Edgar is the most helpful service provider you can find. I clipped a car's front bumper and my moulding came off along with some scratches to my wheels. Edgar and Gabriel did an awesome job fixing my moulding and provided me with excellent advice on what to spend on and what not to spend on in terms of damage. And they did this all at NO CHARGE and within a reasonable amount of time. Thank You Edgar and Gabriel!

After all of the rave reviews on YELP, I decided to take my car in today for some repairs to the front bumper. I was prepared to drop a few hundos for the significant paint damage to my IS 250. To my surprise, the owner talked me out of a $500 repair job and buffed and touched up the scratches for FREE while I waited in the lobby filled with free refreshments!
I will definitely be coming back here if I am ever in need of some real repairs to my vehicle. Bravo to Hi-Quality for your graciousness, honestly and top notch customer service. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reputable repair shop. -

Coolest auto body shop you will ever find! I scratched up a fender on my truck, drove over to see these guys and the place and people amazed me. They did a spectacular job quickly and the price was good. A waiting area that puts most doctors' offices to shame--with free snacks and drinks. The owners are personable and seem to love what they are doing. One even showed me his incredibly restored World War Two army Jeep in the back. Spectacular.
So thanks to you Yelpers for recommending this place. It is beyond the ordinary, that's for sure. I'd come here if I owned a Fiat or a Ferrari! -

Finally decided to stop by here yesterday after procrastinating getting some parts painted. It seems to be super busy every time I drive by. Drove in and immediately greeted by one of the employees. He was nice enough to walk me to the office to talk to the manager or owner to get a quote. Everyone was friendly and super knowledgable, letting me know my options.
Best part is that they love evos. Makes me feel comfortable there, minus that subbie I saw sitting on their lot, jk. -

Splendid service and high quality workmanship. Edgar was very friendly and easy to work with. They took care of me from the second I set foot in the shop to get a quote, providing courteous interactions and free soft drinks while I watched TV in their clean lobby.
The door on my Honda Accord was crumpled badly by another car that swiped me while I was parked on the street. The other driver paid me cash to settle based on some quotes I received. Hi Quality quoted just a bit lower and Edgar first tried to find a used door in the same color to save me money. That plan didn't work out but he found a suitable used door, which after paint & labor, came out 70 bucks cheaper than his original quote. Edgar even called me every 2 days to update me on progress. My car was completed exactly when they promised and it was immaculate. The paint blend looked perfect and door worked without any problems.
Hi Quality even detailed the car for me, cleaning my leather seats, waxing the exterior, cleaning my wheels and even cleaning the engine bay! Their thoroughness and attention to detail is second to none. Just take a look at my pictures; their work speaks for itself. -

This place treats you and your car better than family. I took my car there last year for a fender bender, and I couldn't believe the level of customer service. They take care of you by working with insurance adjusters, hooking you up with a rental car, a tow truck, and all of the other stuff you don't have time to do because you have to get back to work. Now my poor car is there again with a more major hit, and they all remember my name. It's a relief to know I don't need to worry because they're going to fix it right or not at all.

Went there for a small paint job, mostly to fix rock chip on the front bumper and the front lip spoiler.
while the customer service is great, they are on the HIGH side when you compare to the same job with the same material(I know because I used to deal with automotive paint finish, I know exactly how much the distributer price but that's another story)
Everything was fine until they told me my spoiler lip was not worth the repaint cost that it might be cheaper to get a new one vs repaint. All there were are some rock chips, it was not tore, scrapped or broke. Not exactly sure why they do that, but I was not trying to be rude and called him out at the moment.
not sure if it has to do with cash customer vs insurance claim, I was paying out of my pocket. They gave me a verbal quote of 600 for the bumper and another couple more for the lip spoiler.
There's better value paint shop out there. -

From the moment I walked in the staff was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional.
I came here because I was essentially locked out of my trunk and could not for the life of me find a way into it from the back seat.
They took the back seats apart to access the trunk and found that the bolts holding the trunk pop mechanism in place were sheared off. They replaced the bolts and reassembled the seats.
The real surpise was when they did not charge me for any of the work!
I will definitely be coming back to them should I need any body work.
Highly recommended! -

This place is awesome. They fixed up my Infiniti G37 after some jerk smashed in my bumper and bailed leaving no note. I went there because they are the only place Glendale Infiniti uses for body work. Edgar is super professional, helpful, and SO nice. He was totally straightforward and down to earth when explaining what could be done to fix the car - being a woman, I REALLY appreciated it.
Thank you, Hi-Quality Auto! You totally helped neutralize the bad karma from my hit & run incident - you guys r-o-c-k. -

My Mazda 3 was rear ended on my way to work. There was damage to the rear bumper only. I took my car to Hi-quality because of their great reviews on yelp.
When I took my car in for an evaluation they were friendly and addressed all my concerns. I didn't want my car sitting around if they weren't going to be working on it. So they ordered the parts and called me when they were ready to fix my bumper. When I picked up my car they waited for me after closing time because I had to drive from work in Culver City to Alhambra. Service was great and so was there work. My car looked new again. -

DO NOT EVEN THINK TWICE ABOUT USING ANOTHER AUTO BODY SHOP! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! they worked with my schedule and made sure my car was out when I needed it even though they were swamped with other orders. They also fixed little scratches that they didn't even need to. They went above and beyond as far as customer service and the work they did on my car. This place actually CARES about their customers and they have a wide selection of FREE cold drinks in the lounge. I am not a fan of soda so the fact that they have vitamin waters is awesome!

Excellent and professional employees. Everyone is really friendly from the receptionist to the owner, Elliot. Edgar and Ivonne were easy to work with and they explained everything to me plus updated me throughout the whole process.
They even got my car back to me 2 days before the anticipated date! My car looks amazing and I would never know that I had gottten hit. Plus, they detailed my car, interior, trunk, and even the engine. Overall a great experience. I'm recommending them to anyone that needs some work done. Oh and their prices are the most reasonable in the area! -

After seeing many positive yelps reviews, I went to this place, I wanted an estimated because I had paint issues, they told me they can't give me an estimate because the car was dirty, my car was slightly dirty, they were trying to convince me also to make claim with the insurance company, my problems wasn't related to a collision or accident so I didn't want to do a claim to insurance and they basically told me that they will not do the job if is not with the insurance company.
I guess they just want to make big money with the insurance. So I just left, I guess they do just good job when they can charge a ton of money to insurance company. -

"Sure, come on in. We'll take care of you." That's the first thing I heard when I called Hi-Quality to ask when I could bring in my car to have it checked out.
Thanks to Yelp for helping me find a friendly, reliable, and efficient auto body shop that got me through the whole insurance repair process without any headaches. I would give Hi Quality 6 stars if I could; this place is highly, highly recommended.
A guy backed into my '98 Honda Accord and caused major damage to the rear door on my driver's side. Since it was entirely his fault, I went through his insurance company to get the repairs done. Eschewing the list of body shops provided by the insurance company, I combed through Yelp instead. I'm so happy that I found this place because they really did take care of anything.
When I first pulled into the parking space, the owner, Elliot actually came out into the parking lot to greet me! I was actually expecting some kind of high-pressured sales pitch to begin, but all he did was ask me about the damage as he escorted me into the office and offered me a drink from the mini-fridge. At first, I was reluctant, but he was so laid back and friendly that I couldn't help but immediately form a favorable impression of the place.
Edgar and Yvonne, the people who actually handled my car and file were extremely helpful and informative, especially Edgar. They patiently answered all my questions (I had quite a few) and at no time did I ever feel pressured into making any commitments or that I was just another number being processed. When I left the car with Hi-Quality, I felt a sense of reassurance that it would be well-taken care of.
Edgar called me several times over the course of the 1.5 weeks that it took to repair my car. Not once did I ever have to deal with the stiffs at the insurance company again, even though the repairs came out to be more expensive than estimated by their guy. Edgar even stayed past their closing time (6:00 PM) to wait for me to pick up my car because I told him I would be coming in late from work.
I also got a chance to meet one of their mechanics (unfortunately, I forget his name, but he was an extremely friendly Hispanic gentleman), who did a GREAT job on the car. They didn't just fix my door. They polished and blended in the paint around the area so that it would look natural. But that wasn't all they did. They also:
1) cleaned and waxed the entire car (interior also),
2) buffed out and filled in some of the paint scratches,
3) fixed my broken brake light and my faulty horn (which were not part of the damage from the accident), AND
4) realigned my bumper (also not from the accident)!
When I got my car back, it was like reuniting with an old friend, except that this friend had cleaned himself up, shaved, put on a suit, and got a haircut and makeover.
The minute I walked into Hi-Quality, all the stress and anxiety that I had accumulated during the weeks that I had to deal with the insurance company slid off my shoulders. This place is HIGHLY recommended. -

(1) Accident
(2) Freak out
(3) Drive/Tow (damaged) car to Hi-Quality
(4) Do nothing because THEY DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU
Some jerk rear-ended me and the quote from the insurance company was almost $500. Went over to Hi-Quality Auto Body to get it fixed, just to find out that the real cost of fixing my car was twice the amount. But thank god the good people at Hi-Quality had another insurance inspector come in and I didn't have to pay a cent! And my car looked brand new!
Not only did they fix the damage from my accident, they got the insurance company to cover the other bits of scratched up paint and things that didn't come from the accident. Sure, the dude's insurance company is paying for damage that is technically my fault but that jerk shouldn't have been texting and driving in the first place!
I wish I would never have to come back here again because I don't ever want to get into another accident. But should I be unfortunate and need to fix my car again, I'm going to Hi-Quality for sure. For sure. -

Great customer service! Extremely friendly management. They make you feel welcomed and provided friendly service you don't see in today's businesses.
I called for a replacement inner fender well. I didn't know which piece I needed and Elliot told me come by. He knew exactly which part I needed and didn't charge me for installment.
Had a free complimentary soda and watched some ball in the waiting room. Wow, this place is great! No need to look else where, this place is it!
This place is an equivalent to a 5 star Hotel in Beverly Hills in terms of service & customer satisfaction. (5 stars +) -

Did my review magically disappear from Yelp because I didn't give it 5-stars? I could have sworn I wrote one...
Anyway, I found them through all the great Yelp reviews, thanks Yelpers! My car was the meat in a sandwich wreck and since that happened on a Friday evening after work, I had to do some quick legwork to find a body shop that opens on Saturdays. Brought it into Hi-Quality and met Elliott. Really friendly and laid-back owner. I asked him for an estimate on the damages (front and rear) but he couldn't give me a firm number because they wouldn't know that until they take the car apart anyway. So, I drove it home after that.
Come to find out the guy that rear-ended me was driving with a suspended license and he tells me that he doesn't want to report it to his insurance but that his dad will pay for the damages. Well, that caused a whole load of other problems that luckily got ironed out within a few days especially since I reported to my insurance company already. By Wednesday morning, I brought the car back to Hi-Quality, and this time they were authorized to tear down for estimates and repair.
Only reason I didn't give them 5-stars was because they weren't that good at returning my calls for updates on the estimates. Plus, they kept the car for over a week before they actually came up with an estimate, seemed kind of long. The actual work didn't take that long but because of the slow start, it took a little over 2 weeks. Good thing I also got the guy's dad to pay for a rental car in the meantime cuz I would have baked in my junky Toyota with the broken A/C.
When I went to pick up my car, it was freshly washed with some detailing inside. Loved that they also shined up the engine compartment. Plus they got this "magic" compound that gets rid of small scratches like that! It was amazing to see them use it to buff away a small scratch I had on one of my side mirrors. Love that "magic compound" as Elliott likes to call it. -

This is the third time I have taken a vehicle here for auto body work. This time, I took my mom's '03 cadillac escalade here since it got pretty badly keyed in a parking lot. Haters gonna haaate...I mean seriously...who keyes cars nowadays????
Hi-Quality Auto Body worked on the SUV for about a week, but again did EXCEPTIONAL work on the body/paint job. The exterior of the SUV looks absolutely brand new again. I literally could not believe the quality and detail that went into the repair/painting process. They even took the time out to re-paint the the rear bumper that had a horrible previous paint job and replace the plastic step pads that were faded through the years. It is these minor details that make this auto body shop ahead of the game and superior to others. In addition, the owner (Elliot) is pretty involved in the process and will take the time to inspect the vehicle before it leaves their property.
When we brought the escalade back home to my mom, she could not believe how good the SUV looked again. It really looked like a brand new ride. She was even a bit nervous to start parking it at her work again.
I really hope Hi-Quality Auto Body shop stays in operation for a long time to come. I am definitely a loyal customer and their number #1 fan!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to Elliot, Edgar, Yvonne and Toni and everyone else there for their hard work and efforts. =D1 Previous Review: Show all »

This has been the best body shop I've ever had to work on all of my cars over the past years. The staff is highly knowledgeable, I love their facilities, and they get the job done right and over deliver.
In July 2010, I had someone run into me while I was parked and dealing with their insurance company was crazy. Once I dropped off my car, I didn't have to deal with them anymore. The staff there did all the communicating and coordinating for me. It made the experience much more bearable.
When I got my SUV back, I could have sworn I had a new car. they removed minor dings and polished my entire car. They did an exceptional job and I highly recommend them. -

I came to Hi-Quality because of the great reviews I read on yelp. Someone had hit my car and I went to 4 different body shops to get estimates. I ultimately decided to go with Hi-Quality because I felt they were the most professional and informative. They went through every detail about my car with me. If you are on a budget, they are willing to work with you to bring the cost down like buying used parts, etc.
When I got my car back, they cleaned and waxed my car. They also offer a lifetime warranty of the work they did on my car as long as I am the owner. You really can't get any better customer service than that. -

I had another unfortunate mishap to my car. I took it back to Hi-Quality and it was another great experience.
After the incident, my car looked pretty bad with scruff marks, paint scratches and a dent. Edgar helped me out and cleaned off the obvious-looking scruff marks and paint scratches for free. He then gave me a quote for fixing the dent, which I had to think about (since it was a lot of money). He was totally fine with it and still did the paint stuff for free.
While I waited for them to fix the scratches and scruff marks, he took me to the waiting room and offered juice, water, coffee for me (even it took only a quick 15 minutes).
Excellent service! Very professional, friendly and fast.1 Previous Review: Show all »

You can stop looking! This body shop does it right.
I was so ticked off at someone I ran into a pole while trying to get out of a parking spot. Yeah... I know I know. The front bumper of my car was hanging off. I'm a girl. I wanted to cry knowing that some auto body shop was going to rip me off, charge me outrageous prices for labor and all sorts of taxes. *Sigh* I wasn't a happy camper. I drove slowly home and re-attached my bumper with speaker wire. Don't judge me, that's all I had.
I "Yelped" and Hi-Quality Auto Body came up. No way, I thought, I bet they're going to charge me an arm and a leg. I went anyway because the reveiws were so darn good.
Yes, I can stand and testify that that Hi-Quality Auto Body lives up to its name and the reviews. This operation is top notch, with steller customer service. Believe it or not, I was in and out with a reattached bumper in less than an hour. They wouldn't take a dime from me. Really. After I finally managed to close my mouth, the person taking care of me, Edgar, told me to go have a wonderful day.
I did. And I've been telling everyone about Hi-Quality Auto Body ever since. -

Honestly, if you want a job done right you should come here. My household has been here three times and they have never let us down.
First time was when my uncle got t-boned by someone. Had the entire door and quarter panel changed in a 94 Honda Accord, looked brand new after the job was done.
Second time I visited they helped me deal with totalling my Honda Fit which was involved in a sandwich, the shop which my insurance brought it to in the OC did a horrible estimate and tried to spend the least amount they can to salvage it.
Third time I was involved in a front hit and they helped me find out everything that was wrong with my car and fixed it to look brand new. I got new headlights due to some broken tabs which the adjustor did not originally find. They also gave the car a little detail (no clay/polish) but they made everything look good as new inside and outside. Engine bay was shiny and they also are mod-friendly (helped me rewire my HID kit after changing to new headlights).
Customer service is excellent and they offer cold drinks while you wait to be served or while you are being serviced. They also help you out with small things such as providing you with screws for your license plate. I totally recommend this place to anyone that needs body work done to their car. -

I have to give this place ten stars if I can!!!! I damaged my car and got the estimate for over 1000 to fix that damage in other 2 body shop. So I came here. Although the estimate is similar, they offer me the second option to make my car not that noticeable. Save me 1000 dollars!!!! Yes, maybe it's not perfect. But it's the best option for mr and they offer that. As a girl, I'm lucky to find this place. Thanks for the staff there!

Service and Customer Service is Five Star! The staff seem like family and people step in when needed to take care of you. The chief estimator I spoke to had the right experience to work with your insurance company - he was previously an adjuster who frequented this shop representing insurance claims for the insurance company. He suggested that somethings may be claimable.
I just decided to keep my 10 year old Acura for at least a few more years and wanted to clean it up as it still ran very well.
As we discussed the various paint and body issues I wanted worked on, a worker approached us, quickly assessed the issues and suggested that I do what I was beginning to come to realize myself - get the car detailed and see what issues remain. IMO he cut the estimator off from making a deal/sale.
This guy also was thankful that I walked in for the estimate and said that they could help me quickly by removing the haze from my headlights by sanding it off and polishing it. Before I could ask how much would it be, he had my keys to his guy and the estimator just smiled saying the owner does this all the time. Hmmm... that was the owner. I waited in their comfortable waiting area and enjoyed items from their refrigerator. Ten minutes later the headlamps looked new!
I have just had their preferred detailer work on my car. He is an older Cloney looking guy. I'm not gay just saying. We talked about all of the issues I had with my car - lots of dings on one side and either gravel chip marks or paint spray (as if I went through a puddle of the stuff and it shot up the entire side of my car; it had been there for at least seven years), swirls all over, lots of hard water marks that had been on the car for nine years, some spots where I had dabbed factory paint over older marks, etc.
He did not over promise but told me things I might not want to hear but set me up for realistic expectations. He had worked in the industry working on high end cars for show: color sanding them smooth, removing the orange peel, then lathering with Carunba wax. The show room mirror finish you see comes from this process.
80% of the door dings and chips were completely removed. 98% of the water marks had been removed (I did not even tell him about these). What remained looked like a few deep chips and odd things I do not know where they came from. Like having really bad acne cleared up and realizing hey there is a nose and two eyes.
The poor repair work I did was sanded smooth and much minimized.
I took pictures this morning, and am so very pleased that the finish is close to show room. Very very few swirls (which will return when the wax washes away), and I can clearly see my reflection.
My leather seats were worn. I used leather cleaners and restorers in the past but it only got so good. They are not new now, but at least five years of wear have been removed.
I paid more than the local car wash charges, but I had issues and did not need a simple wax, and did not want to hear some kid explain that some things cannot be done. True somethings cannot be fixed perfectly but I know this guy took out stuff way beyond my expectations.
I also received a referral to a Paintless Dent Repair guy they use. Waiting for that work to be done on my other car and hope to update on that too. These guys are mobile so Yelping them may be hard. For contact info call this shop. -

Their service is pretty good, but not for the pricing and not tell you the truth.
Went there for estimate for a pretty minor damage since someone hit me on the side. I told the owner i can't claim by the insurance since it's my fault and my insurance is a liability only. I told him i will pay the cash, he told me it will cause me about $1600 cash to fix it. And also, it will be hard to fix it. After that, i went other body shops around that area, all others quoted me about under $700 cash price only. And all others said it will be a easy job, just pull the dent out, put some bundle on it, sand it and repaint it, that's all.
Not recommend go there if you want to pay cash / no insurance claim.
Their customer service is pretty good. The receptionist offered me a free drink when i stepped in.Comment from Elliott C. of Hi-Quality Auto Body, Inc 11/24/2010

I can't say enough about this bodyshop. I had my car bumped by someone in the parking lot, and had to pay for it myself basically.
I came here due to great yelp reviews, and wasn't sure what to expect. Elliot, the owner, greeted so warmly, and asked what he could do for me. I told him what happened, and guess what, he was so honest and sweet! He said if you were to pay out of pocket, he'd suggest that he just ask his staff to clean it up for me and straighten the bump - FOR FREE! He also said yes there will still be a little cress, but not that noticeable. Isn't that the sweetest thing?
But then I still asked for a quote, and the price was reasonable, lower than the other I went to quote. What's more? He actually offered me a free car wash, and straighten the bump for me, right away! I was sooooo grateful as I just moved to LA and everything was so expensive!
He's the best, and Hi-Quality is the best. Also, there were so many cars there, almost like a testimony of their good quality of service. I will no doubt go back for any problem that my car has, even if I move to other parts of the city.
Thank you so much, Elliot!!!! -

Those of you that know me know that I LOVE my truck and take pride in keeping this 5 year old truck looking showroom ready. When I was struck on the side, I was horrified and violated! Damage was rear door and truck bed. Thankfully no frame or inner shell damage! Google and Yelp directed me to this place even though I've passed it thousands of times.
I first stopped in to get a feel for the place and the people. Met with Elliot & Edgar, took some mental notes, and then proceeded to shop around. A few weeks later, I opted for this facility because they made me feel comfortable and did not try to cover my eyes with magic tricks.
The entire process was completely professional and up front. It was a bumpy ride with paperwork issues because of the other person's insurance company, but nothing that Elliot, Edgar or Samara couldn't take care of.
They let me stop by weekly (sometimes more) to check on the progress and even take pictures. They were very helpful in explaining the process and showing me how parts were removed, cut, fixed and replaced. Edgar called me frequently to keep me in the loop and Elliot called me a few weeks after the job was done to see how things were going. Anyone that makes follow up calls really cares. I tried desperately to find a flaw where they cut & mended the metal, but I can't see it even though I know exactly where it is! The paint is smooth and swirl marks look factory. Nobody can tell I was even in an accident!
The professional customer service and detailed craftsmanship makes me willing to come here again and again (even if I have to pay cash out of my own pocket). You just don't find this kind of "Hi-Quality" anymore. -

Some retched human being hit and ran my car, leaving me in his dust with tons of damage and stress. Dealing with my insurance company was a big mess. I was so over the whole situation. I thought getting my car repaired would be an added headache, but Hi-Quality was like a much need Tylenol during this stressful time.
A family friend recommended this place, and I'm so glad he did.
People here are super nice, professional and very informative.
It was refreshing to talk to people that care about whats going on with your personal situation, also to walk you through the steps of what they have to do.
Chill waiting room area with delicious beverages and a big TV.
I swear when I got my car back it was like I won a brand new car. Looked just like the day I bought it. -

I recently had a chance to work with Hi-Quality Auto Body. They are exceptionally honest, professional and over all, I was OVER satisfied with their work and service attitude. Everyone had a big smile on their face from the moment I walk in the front door, (hopefully not because they are getting my business). Till they found out all I needed was a simple bumper job, they still treated me like a king. Through out the process they kept me inform about the insurance adjustor's visit and approval for repair. When I picked up the car, they have even clean, was, and buff my car up. And by surprise, they have fix some dings along the door and touch up on some spots which makes my car looks brand new.
They are the best body shop I have had work with. (I've had a few outch and ops before). I am going to refer them to my family, friends, and people who I may hit in the future to them. -

I did a bone-head thing by bumping my brand new Audi S5 against the concrete wall next to my driveway and scraped the paint on the fender over the right rear wheel. I was so mad at myself and knew that I would need to pay to repair the damage out of pocket instead of going through my auto insurance.
I saw the great reviews of Hi-Quality Auto Body on Yelp but also got an estimate from another reputable body shop in Pasadena. Hi-Quality definitely offered the best price to do the work (almost half the estimate at the other shop!).
The one thing that really impressed me was how friendly everyone was at the shop. Every worker, whether it was a technician, estimator, or clerk, greeted me with a smile and asked to make sure I was comfortable when I was in the waiting area. There was a refreshment cooler in the clean waiting area, where you had access to free bottled water, juices, etc. Manuel, who provided the estimate for my car, was especially fantastic. He knew I was paying cash to do the work, and fudged the numbers a little to make sure the estimate remained reasonable. He even took the time to give me a tour of the shop, showing me each work area and explaining what is done in each section. I even had a chance to meet Elliott, the owner, who was also friendly and took the time to chat with me. The shop is extremely busy and they have many workers there. But they were all very professional from day one.
I was told the work would take about 4 days to get done, and that was exactly how long it took. During the job, they had to do some extra work to get it done right but they did not charge me extra and kept the final cost to be exactly as estimated. When I picked up my car, they had the car cleaned and washed. The paint job was perfect. They went through a routine going over the car with me, and making sure all the lights were operational. They offer a 12-mo written warranty on their work.
I have used 3 other body shops in the past, but this one is definitely the best in every respect -- their service, their price, and the quality of their work. I highly recommend this auto body shop and will definitely use them again in the future! -

If I can give them 10 stars I would. My rear bumper was detached and falling off. I left it like that for a few months because I don't wanna imagine how much it will cost me. It was getting worse! Finally I went on yelp and found this place. Every single staff there was very genuine and friendly. The owner Elliot asked me was super nice, he asked me if my insurance going to cover it or I have to pay it out of my own pocket. I told him it will be out of my own pocket. It took them 15 minutes to fix it, and he didn't charge me a dime for re-attaching my bumper back. I'm so freaking happy, it made my day! I can't thank them enough!! I will definitely recommend every single friend of mine to come to this place to get their cars fixed.
Thank you so so much Elliot! I will pay it forward.
