Best square pizza EVER! I used to hate Sicilian pizza because I was young, dumb, and hadn't been to Leone's. Things have changed since then and now when my family wants pizza I often drive from Belmont to Somerville to treat them to the good stuff knowing it will pay off in the end. My son will someday know if he doesn't already that I clearly love him more than his friend's parents love them. You don't get that bonding with just any pizza store.
Really though, they make a mean pizza and sub at a good price. That is worth the drive to me. Plus, a dash of alone time in the car isn't too bad either.

Great Sicilian pizza. I go to the fencing club behind the shop and it's become my post-fencing tradition to grab a few slices for home.
I highly recommend getting sausage, they get it fresh and it's unlike any other I've had on pizza. While putting together the club we got a half-tray of some combo that I think was sausage, peppers, onions, pepperoni, and maybe mushrooms. It was heavenly and I think it was on my mind for a solid week afterwards.
Sarcastically friendly staff makes it a fun place to pop into.
Haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but heard good things.
The Sicilian pizza here is the best you'll find outside of the North End. The crust is thick and tasty, the sauce is excellent and over all this is the best non upscale pizza we've found in the Cambridge/Somerville area.
It's also a great way to feed a bunch of people on a budget. A half tray is ~$10 depending on what toppings you get, and the quality is very good.
Their meatball and chicken parm subs are also not to be missed.
Sorry, nope. NOT the best Sicilian. Not bad at all, but my fave remains Galleria Umberto in the North End. Those squares are sublime. PS - Check your change. Manual system no workie for the inky dude working the register.
The most amazing Sicilian pizza. I don't know about you, but usually I douse my pizza with red hot peppers, parmesan, oregano...the works. This pizza I wouldn't touch--Absolutely nothing could make it more perfect.
for sicilian? the best in town. the sandwiches are great too! the employees are fantastic and nice. this place is also dirt cheap which rocks. i am apprehensive about writing the review as i want to keep this place a hidden gem but its that good, everyone should go IF you like sicilian.
please note, there is no place to sit. you either have to carry it out or stand at a lil' 1/2 counter to eat it.
PS - get a slice and the italian with everything and you will be full and VERY happy.
awesome square slices.
become a sunday football hero! go to leones!
If you like sicilian pizza, you should definitely go to this place. You can get a half sheet for $9 and I promise you it will be the best pizza you ever ate. It is so good! Their calzones are great too. I suggest the steak and cheese calzone. It's the best.
Friendly, fast, ands cheap. The 3 most important things in service, but the food is just great. Love it.
