You'll feel like family! Not only are you greeted with a warm welcome most likely from Ronnie himself, but your opinion about the food and making sure your happy is a priority at this authentic Italian jem in Burien.
I suggest you start at the top of the menu and work your way down. You can't go wrong... seriously, it's all that good. The menu is filled with sandwich creations that are made as a way of the Santone family likes them with dedication to authenticity. Each one is really big, so be careful ordering a whole one... they are so good you'll eat the whole thing!
Ronnie the owner is all about bringing a little piece of his hometown Philly to B-Town... and we are lucky to have him.

I grew up in the Burien area and didn't even know what a sandwich shop was until I moved to Capitol Hill.  Then I didn't know what a Philly Cheese Steak was until I traveled Back East and all over the country/world on business.  Now to find a GREAT Sandwich Shop back on my home turf...

I can die now.  Well, maybe not quite yet.

Hey Paizon puts out a fantastic sandwich, and has a pretty good variety.  They are not trying to be all things to all people - just doing their thing well.

My current favorite is the Pizza Cheeze Steak.  (Marinara sauce on the standard sandwich.)

I can't get enough of this place, If you want real food made with fresh ingredients and lots of Love then Hey Paison! Santones Authentic Italian Sandwiches is for you. Everybody raves about the Cheesesteaks (which are great) but for me its all about the meatball sub, hot and yummy with melted cheese - oh man. And now they have their meatballs and sauce to go. One order lasts me three days! Once as a sandwich, once with pasta and the last day a couple a meatballs and a little sauce left I eat it for breakfast with scrambled eggs!

And don't miss dessert, made right in the shop - always fresh - and the cheesecakes in flavors like double lemon, key lime, chocolate rotate around so its always something new, And the Cannoli -stuffed to order - is so delicious bursting with complicated flavors that I find myself thinking about it long after its gone.....

Five stars and then some!

Got a flyer for this place and after watching Tyler on the Food Network make some delicious Philly sandwiches, I made my journey over to Burien. The place was great, loved the decor especially listening to Frank Sinatra over the speakers. The owner was busy with another customer so we had some rude high schooler help us. Mind you I love Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and maybe I'm just used to the cheap version here is WA but I really did not enjoy it, neither did the BF. He did enjoy his meatball sub but not enough to drive to Burien and pay almost $10. I think I will stick with the non-authentic Philly's from here on out.

Wonderful food-warm atmosphere-great decor', and very affordable.
Owner takes great pride and care of all food he presents to the public. Love Frank Sinatra crooning in my ear while ordering. The place will only get better as they evolve!! Its a must try!!

I don't normally lunch in Burien but this time it was for the children.. Had a career day at some elementary school in the morning so afterwards, my friend and I headed to downtown B-ville to get some food.
Her real estate agent's husband owns this sandwich shop that takes you directly to the streets of Philadelphia..  Immediately welcomed by Ronnie (we are of course in the city of brotherly love) we order a philly cheesesteak sandwich and a cheesecake (therein blowing my "diet starts today" goal again).
The sandwich is delicious, I would just add hot pepper flakes to seal the deal.  His mother from Philly makes the ricotta cheesecake (3.50 a slice) - New York style, which means v. tall and v. smooth'n creamy!
Walking in, you hear the rat pack's all time greatest hits; on the walls there's Frankie and Dino's paraphernalia -probably worth more than the GDP of Burien and Seatac combined.

Just another warm sunny day in Burien!

Go there right now! (UNLESS ITS SUNDAY, the only day they are closed.)
Sweet tasting East Coast Food. This place is SENSATIONAL!! When ya walk in the kids behind the counter shout  "HEY PAISON!!!" and you here the clicket clang clang  ting ting ting of  a spatula terrorizing the top round frying on the griddle. Their menu reads like a traditional hoagie shop back East:

CHEESETEAKS:
The RIGHT WAY

OR Whiz

HOAGIES:
Italian
Meatball
Peppers and Egg
Porkette YUM Melts in your mouth.
Eggplant Parm for the veggie's

Pasta Fagioli Soup
Pasta Salad
Cheesecake
Cannoli's aren't on the menu BUT i saw some in the deli case on Saturday.
TASTYKAKES!!!!!!!
HOORAY!!! TASTYKAKES!!!!!!
You order at the counter and when your food is ready someone will bring it out to you. To go orders are wrapped PROPERLY in foil lined with paper so your roll don't get all soggy from the condensation that happens with plastic boxes. This means that you can buy 5 or 6 sandwiches to go so you have breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack etc.
Cheeseteaks are PERFECT Re-heated (Toaster oven the best way, microwave= enhh.) especially at 3:45AM after a night on the town that has NO 24hour diners with GOOD food.
The dining room has 6 tables and 2 standup counters. So it is not the best place for a group its better to call ahead and order a bunch of Sandwiches and meet at ,say the Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle (Make sure ya order enough for the Bartenders though. ;)

Hey Paison is working on the liquor license and, since they can't get Yuengling out here, they are enlisting the help of their customers to determine which beers the put on tap (Vote for Manny's)
The only downside i found to Hey Paison is that they do not have Condiments in Bottles, only little to go Packets.
This is FOOD! The rolls, made here in the NW are this close to Authentic, the fella that owns the place should be proud!
I am so Excited Cheeseteaks and Tastykakes are now only a 20 minute bus ride away

Finally, a decent sandwich down here in the south end.
Actually, they're not just decent, they're excellent. The ingredients are all homemade, from the bread to the pork, veal, and beef meatballs, and this is what I think makes the sandwiches so yummy.
I really like the Cheesesteak, but my favorite so far is the Hot Capicola. Yum!
