FINALLY!!!! I was just recently in Lancaster and was finally able to take a tour of this house. We called ahead and verrified that they would be hosting tours and wandered up just as the tour guide was finishing up a previous tour. The historic house here is SO interesing, I learned things in this house that I haven't learned at any other historic restoration I have been to. The craftsmanship and ingenious design of the oldest home in Lancaster county is just incredible. The tour guide was super friendly and a wealth of knowledge. The property also hosts events where people dress up and do demos. I now understand why AAA calls this a GEM, it surely is.
