I eat a lot, as you might notice from my alias. Heroes is one of the few dives that consistently challenges my stomach capacity with delicious bar burgers and other entrees. I've come here many times for many different occasions, and I have to say that this has become one of my favorite restaurants I crave.
I usually order a sandwich or burger which comes with a generous portion of fries. I think they tell their cooks to fill the entire large plate with fries so that no white color can be seen. It's really crazy. They have a great beer selection, and have an even bigger nacho appetizer that can easier feed 4 grown men.
One novel thing about this place is that you throw away peanut shells you eat on the floor! Pretty cool to just chuck your trash down to the floor, but not cool if you got peanut allergies so be careful! It's also riddled with TVs everywhere, so you can make sure you're getting your updates on that important playoff game.
Heroes is also located right in the heart of downtown Fullerton, so after a nice hearty dinner, you can walk around the different clubs/bars, or chill at Stubriks, or shop at the random stores they have in between. It's a must try if you're in the area and are looking for a popular, fun dive that'll fill your stomach no matter how big. Go Heroes!

Big giant food, which is perfect for a guy like me. I like Heroes because you can be as loud as you want. You can throw stuff on the floor and you get gigantic glasses for your drinks!
Heroes has great burgers and they give you more than your fill of fries. The only downside to Heroes is that it is so good that it is always busy and takes a bit of time to get a table. Other than that, it is a great place for big groups who want to have a loud good time!
HEROES!
You're the only place worth going to in downtown Fullerton.
Good Beer and Good Peanuts. Haha
I like your rustic Americana bar atmosphere.

"Take a big one" is the motto here, I think. Small don't exist in the Heroes' lexicon. The muscle man tending bar will hurl a fistfull of peanuts in your face when you make eye contact and you will love it. He will slam a jug of Sierra Nevada on your table, half of it will splash your face and you will lick it up and grin. You'll still need three hands to bring the monster mug to your lips. There must have been at least 100 different wonderful beers on tap, each with its own schnazzy custom made yank handle. I felt right at home knocking back a cold one under the bison head and his friend Mr. Moose and Mr. Caribou. Heroes cherishes its heritage- the walls are plastered with ancient black and white family portraits and historical pieces. love it. And where else can you hear on the jukebox- AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd followed by Toby Keith these days?
Seeing so many trim and elegant Fullerton beauties pounding down a#sfulls of beef, fish and curly fries, made me scratch my head in wonder. Must chop wood or something to stay that fit. Hero and heroine barkeeps are all smiles and "lemme help yous."... Evidently, the owner's never heard of this new thing called the "Internet" where you can promote your business online. South of Commonwealth- red brick quarter.

Beer: Weihenstephen Hefei Weiss
Food: Heroes' Chili Nachos (large order)
Food was ok, but there was a LOT of it. They dont serve peanuts outside :( and the service was not so great. Our waitress was not the most patient and she forgot about us for a good 10 minutes after we ordered refills. Also, there are only 2 TV's outside and they are at odd places, I think they could rearrange where the TV's are located at least. It was also a bit on the expensive side, for 3 people: 3 beers with a refill for 2 and a large order of chili nachos cost about $46.
Aside from all that, it was a pretty decent place to go hang out with some friends and watch a game. Go there for the atmosphere, not the food.
Talk about big portions! This place probably deserves the title! Also, if you always wanted to throw trash on the floor, Heroe's is for you! When you get your bag of peanuts, you can empty your peanut shells right on the ground!
The daytime crowd here is typically the older/30-somethings and then come the evening, the 20-somethings come out to have drinks. But, I would recommend trying out their menu during lunch time. Their burgers and sandwiches are HUGE, so you're sure to have leftovers!
The food's tasty and just classic. Nothing too fancy here, but good for what it's worth.
I love this place.
Everything I need for Monday Night Football. Cold Beers, Peanuts, Nachos, etc. I can go on and on. Portions are big. Can share with others. Prices are reasonable. Great place!
They start you off with a bag of peanuts, which doesn't seem like a big deal you realize everyone is throwing the shells onto the ground. For this reason alone, it makes it surprisingly fun to eat just so you can litter shells everywhere -- it makes you feel like a renegade. If you order a water, they give you one of the largest water glasses I've seen of any restaurant, which scores major points with me.
They have maybe 100 different beers on tap, but somehow, I was able to pick a beer they ran completely out consecutively 3 times before I just told them to get me a PBR (the last American beer). They also happened to be 3 rather exotic sounding beers that I had never seen before. The portions are always fairly generous with leftovers guaranteed, which makes the prices pretty reasonable. Most of the plates I've tried seem reasonably solid, but definitely some better than others. The servers are helpful and come around often, but for some reason, one more than a couple occasions, they are no where to be found when you actually need them like for condiments or grabbing the check. I've had to personally walk the check up to a server about 3 times after futilely trying to wave them down.

dood - the perp below who gave this place a 1 star is an idiot... it's like buying a honda accord and complaining it's not a mercedes (no offense heroes) but dood... this place is an awesome hang out, beer drinking, peanut shell cracking place.
the food is ur standard pub food (but it's GOOD pub food), they have a HUGE beer selection (112 on tap) and the service is amazing - the ladies came around like every 5-10 mins making sure we were ok.
anyway, dood, u want a beer some good cheap food... heroes is a nice place to kick it.
I visited Heroes when it was 100 degrees in Fullerton, it was large, airy and fully air conditioned. I was already a four star fan after that.
When my party got seated and asked for water it was served to us in a FREAKIN large ass glass. On this really hot day, I was delighted.
Then I went to look to see what was on tap, and I was floored. 100 beers on tap? Woah, count me in! I asked to see their beer menu, it was alphabetized and numbed, and they had Lambi Frambois. I'm a sucker for fruity beer.
I had the chili, it was spicy and served in a bread bowl. Rumor has it you can get seconds at no charge. Too bad I was too full.
The service was ok. the atmosphere great and the food savory. I'd go back without a doubt. Also, about six or seven different very large parties came in and they sat them without a wait and without any fuss. A+!

Heroes is my hero.
Thick, juicy burgers.
Hot, crispy curly fries.
Giant mugs of coke.
Combine that with good music, good vibes, and a crapload of peanuts and you have yourself a good time.
There's so much that can be said about Heroes and the random, yet mostly college-aged crowd it draws, but I'll just say that if it weren't for the wide selection of beer and the sizes offered ($11 for a mug big enough to fill a handful of just-turned-21 bladders), I think I'd only come to Heroes purely for people watching. Or if I happened to become inspired enough to conduct a sociology experiment. Maybe something about how peanut shells on the floor impact social behavior? I'll let you know when I feel inspired.

If you're ever in Downtown Fullerton (which you should be since it kicks so much a$$), you have to go to Heroes. Talk about a great neighborhood hangout where you can eat great food in huge portions and eat peanuts while throwing the shells on the ground. They also have 100 beers on tap for all you rowdy bastards. Heroes has a real woody feel to it-think sports bar meets the bar on Cheers for its ambiance. Get a burger with steak fries and you will be in heaven. My nephew tells me that the Mac N Cheese is very good. Also, they serve huge glasses of soda with your meal which goes along with the theme of everything being rather big here. Another plus is that The Continental Club is next door if you want to want to go clubbing/bar-hopping. All in all, highly recommended!

Omg the first time I went in with my family I was so scared because all I saw was ppl sitting at the bar drinking HUGE mugs of beer. Anyways we got the table and the waitress was really nice and she gave us 3 bags of peanuts and then I saw everyone throwing all the peanut shells on floor, I was a bit shocked but it was amusing. LOL
The food there is good make sure to remember that all the entrees are HUGE!
The Monster Burger is big enough for two ppl and the nachos are sooooo HUGE! If you guys dont drink any beer just order water, water is enough LOL
Going back there next week to celebrate my sister's birthday! =]
"Where good friends and family meet." Have you guys seen that commercial?
Anyway, this place certainly is a place for friends and family...although at night, I would say it's more for friends...you know, drinks and beer? Huge portions of food - I LOVE the nachos, burgers, and the meatloaf. I don't know if I've actually tried anything else because one plate can possibly serve 10 of me. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, to be honest...
I felt pretty proud of myself that I finished a large mug of beer here...it's pretty freaking huge...as big as my face. And you can't go wrong with the free peanuts they give to you for free...and you don't need to worry about where the shells go...on the floor! =D
I can see what everyone else is saying about the service, but I guess I'm just used to it. I mean...it's an all-American bar...not a 5-star restaurant. You sit where you want, order a beer and chill. There's no particular server for a particular area...it's more of a first-come-first-serve type of feel...know what I mean?

Every single bartender was a total jerk. They would not wait on us, and it was obvious they were making rude comments to one another about our group. After we ordered our drinks, our bartender said, "Sorry, we're all out of those," and walked away.
It's hard to believe that in this day and age, people are so BLATANTLY elitist, bigoted and just plain rude. They treat others based on outward appearance and their own idea of what your appearance says about you. Don't fit the mold? Can't even give you the time of day.
Bad move for a bartender working in an establishment where there are peanut shells all over the floor since I'm sure your minimum-wage job relies heavily on tips.

OK listen up people. Let's talk about common sense here... If the sun is out and you go to a "bar/grill" in a bar area (ie. downtown Fullerton) could it give more of a restaurant atmosphere? Sure. Go again at night and what do you think you're get? A bar atmosphere? Anyone? Yes! Precisely. See, once you grasp that concept you will fully enjoy your experience at Heroes.
I have been here for numerous occasions, different times of day, different days of the week (mind you, this is in DTF kids). My lunch time experience was decent. Service was decent, had typical bar food (chicken stripes, fries, cheese bread) had a mug full of cold beer and threw my peanut shells on the floor. Nothing special, but I'd say it was pretty decent for a bar.
The other times I went there it was all so different and crazy! Let me try to break it down. If you go before Thursday, you'll see the locals enjoying beers, some yelling going on, but pretty chill for the most part. Go on a Thursday night and it is the epitome of "THIRSTY Thursday". Servers are nowhere to be found, the bar is packed and shoving tactics must be used to get to it (elbows is key). Jam packed with all kinds of people, college kids mostly of course, it's definitely a toe to heel atmosphere with a bunch of drunks. A Saturday night isn't too bad. I want to say that it's still just as busy and filled with people but just not as hectic? Yeah.
This really isn't a sit down for a meal and expect good service at night kind of place. Take my word. But i mean, what bar in downtown Fullerton is? Not the good ones at least. So go, fight for a beer, grab your friends, find some breathing space and stop whining about the bartenders. No they're not there to accommodate you princess, they're there to serve the beers.
Side Note: The first time I went I was drunk with a girlfriend on a Wednesday night. Last call was called already but we still got served drinks and peanuts. I had the most amazing time hanging out with the bartenders (Wed night=no crowd), having the guys school me about the bar and why it's vital for us to throw the shells on the ground. Good times.

Heroes!
The first time I walked in to this place I thought it was insane that there were peanut shells in the floor! hahaha then I got it when they gave me a peanut bag and since my mom wasn't around ! hahah I continue with the tradition and dumped it on the floor lol....
This isn't a place if you are on a diet! I ordered a chicken sandwich and the fries portion were so much that I had to leave some I NEVER DO THAT!! but it was seriously way too many after the sandwich. It was absolutely filling, good , and price reasonable. I came during the afternoon during the week which was more quiet and less hectic to say.
Service wasn't that great so on that I give it a 2 stars because I really felt like yelling for some service ... the waitress could not work any faster and then totally ignored us when we wanted to ask for something else... ARRR!! seriously WORK IT WORK IT!
Anyways besides the service, Heroes was really good ( food) and I love the portions hahah you can share! I don't drink beer so can't say anything about it.

Ok this review is for breakfast only!
My son and I went in here to have breakfast on a Sunday morning, I believe they serve breakfast on weekends only. So anyways he tell me they have a pancake breakfast and that if you eat the entire meal its free!
I knew what that meant. So yes he wanted to try it, what happened next was unbelievable.
Our server came and by the way the service here is always great and friendly.and he orders the pancake meal and I order the chili cheese omelet. Heres what we got.
Son & Pancake meal= 4 fluffy bigger than a dinner plate around that stood atleast 6 inches high, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage
Me & chili cheese omelet= 8 egg om let smothered with chili and cheese probably a foot and half long and about 4" wide 3" high it might even have more eggs, a ton of potato's and toast
This was enough food for 10 people lol and no we werent even close to finishing our plates, but we did eat ourselves sick and had a great time doing it.
Heroes for breakfast food is great, service is awesome! plus it was just a fun place to have a fun time. No dieters wanted here! lol

Thanks for the beer...no thanks for anything else. Peanut shells on the ground...that's original, but who cares?
Good bar-type atmosphere with decent grub. Unfortunately, like most of downtown Fullerton, it is filled with drunk wannabe bad-asses and lots of noise.
I do enjoy their expansive list of beers on tap. Food is average: typical, fried American-style bar food.
Good to come with a large group of friends to drink some beers.
This based on the bar and not their food. It's a good place for beer and peanuts. I've been here a few times throughout the past two years.
They have lots of beers on tap and free peanuts. You leave the shells on the ground. interesting to say the least.
The bartenders are nice. Their taps are clean. They come in huge mugs. And all very inexpensive. Other patrons are not pricks.
I still need to try the food and test the wait staff. I've always come here pretty early before having dinner at another place or going to my night class. I don't know this place is past 6p.

OVERALL RATING = 7 / 10
Overall FOOD = 8
What I had:
Beef Brisket Sandwich = 8
Curly Fries = 6
Drinks:
Lost Coast Great White (large draft) = 9
ATMOSPHERE = 7
SERVICE = 5
---COMMENTS---
Went with 5 guys.
Offer typical american bar food with generous proportions
Offer 117 beers on tap; if I had to choose this place over a Yard House... I'd have to go with this place.
Offer free peanuts; throw shells anywhere, even in the waitress's face! JK.
Btw, its a bar, so don't expect great service. I ordered steak fries along with my sandwich, but got curly fries instead. So its best to view the waitresses there like sean penn in "I am Sam" when he got everyone's Starbux drinks all messed up. I looked at my curly fries and thought to myself, "eh... what am I, surprised? of course not..."
Looking forward to another beer session with the guys.
You may enjoy.
Great Bar to hang out with friends... nice patio in the back for smoking and they have several flat screens out there to watch the games... it's nosey, so don't expect the "hear" the game... Great Beer selection if you're into all kinds of beers. Bag of peanuts and throw your shells on the floor. When it gets crowede and it does, the service can get slow, but for the most part they do their best and the crew is pretty friendly... LARGE portions on the food. so if you want nachos.. SHARE.... it's a mountain.... A HUGE MOUNTAIN....
I like this place. The drink specials have never been amazing to my recollection, but they do give you free peanuts. The place is really big. I haven't been impressed with the food or the price of it. Also, the service kind of sucks because you don't receive personal attention from waiters/waitresses it seems. It seems like you are waited on by three waiters/waitresses, none of whom care that much about your dining experience since they are not exclusively your waiter/waitress. But whatever, I don't go here for the food or the service, I go here for the crowd. Three stars.
I like heroes. First of all, its a friggin BAR people... so with that said, it's going to be loud, with loud drunken people so dont take your children there. they also have a puny patio that allows smoking. i enjoy my stogie out there after a good meal with some good peepo around. They have a bunch of tv's but no sound, since its so loud anyways.
The food portions and beer cups are huge. i love the portions, they are so big. any entree with fries is enough! there's no need for an appetizer, especially if its only 2 or 3 peeps. this place is a haven for fatasses who love chomping on bar food. the chicken wings are nice and fat~!
The service is inconsistent. I noticed, the servers employ the opposite sex scheme, which is, with a bunch of guys then a chiq comes, if bunch of girls, the dude comes but theres hardly a group of girls and when there's a mixture, i just assume that they fight for it claiming the cutie they like to see eat. Also when it's busy, dont expect class A service. the shit is damn near impossible to get a refill and just find where they have the napkins and get it yourself.
i am not that big on service in regards to speed. since ive worked at a bunch of restaurants, i know what it feels like. plus its not like these servers are trying to be lazy. they want you to be happy too or at least earn your happiness with tips. now if the server is rude, its on. ill fight with the faggot on his break. but that doesnt happen.
all in all, if you like a bar with a diverse ethnic demographics with good food and shitload of beer then heroes is the spot!
This place makes you proud to be an American... or if you're a foreign exchange student; want to be an American.
It's been a while since I've been to this establishment, so I'm going by memory..which is still sharp. When I usually order a Stone Arrogant Bastard, it's usually served in a goblet due to its volatility. But at Heroes? NO WAY! 2.5 PINTS OF BASTARD right there!
Nachos? Not your typical Acapulco nachos served in portions made for two humans to enjoy; these come out on a HUGE dish that covers about 2 acres of Orange County served as high as the Langsdorf Hall.
The burgers? Hahahahah!!, no no, not your usual 12 ounce patty with a slice of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and whatever else normal people are accustomed to... they serve you the rear end of a complete cow that was just prepped and grilled straight from the barn directly to the fire. It's not one slice of cheese, it's a brick of cheese. Just kidding.. maybe not.
Awesome atmosphere, awesome service, and a memorable experience you're going to want to share with your fellow drinkers and eaters. ID the bouncer past 10pm.

Um....charging 50 cents for a side of ranch? Really, Heroes?
I am far from a cheapskate, but when our entire group of 4 asked for a side of ranch to go with curly fries, it would have been nice to have been informed of the change; other restaurants take the courtesy to do so. Give me a few less tons of fries and the ranch for free- equals out if you are trying to go on the cheap, Heroes. I would have had no problem being forewared.
I also never know if I should just seat myself or put my name on the waiting list usually gathered by a randon guy working around the restaurant. No organization ever. I wish they would have a "seat yourself" sign when they want you to seat yourself. Or have someone tell you to seat yourself right away instead of watching you stand around a wait forever to figure out what to do. Don't even get me started on how much more confusing that can get with the option of two entrances....
Rant over.
Besides that lame bit, the food is super good here. I just had to give a poor star rating than deserved because that is not the way to keep customers happy and coming back. I would rather them cut down their ginormous portions, as their servings are enough for at least two people to share. Customer service and those little things should affect ratings, not just food. But their food rocks.
Beef brisket sandwich (better with cheddar), ham sandwich (yummy parmesan grilled bread), and chili size are standouts. Their peanuts are better than anywhere else (e.g.Northwoods Inn, all sporting events)
I might change my star rating in the future, but I have had a week to digest (pun intended) the experience and the lame cheesy factor of charging for a side of ranch in a paper cup that you will use 1/8 of has not dissipated.

Loud, big, and friendly. This is the perfect college diner and pub, delicious large portions of food for a good price and over 100 fresh beers on tap. There is no host -find your own table and several different people serve you. Sounds chaotic, but they pull it off well. Really friendly and fast service.

The place is open and airy. Lots of decor setting the atmoshpere. Good bartop and good patio. Im still amazed that they dont have a pastrami sanwhich on the menu. I dont know why but im shocked. They have just about everything else to choose from. Monster portions. Its shocking how big the portions are. They have about 50 beers on tap. The staff is pretty cool, but if you stay for a while and have beers after the meal, your going to drop some bucks. Peanuts on the floor, with marble table tops. I like it and have spent many afternoons there. Good place for business lunch with the appropriate client. parking kinda blows sometimes but that fullerton.
There are peanuts on the floor. WTF is wrong with this place? The waitress was cute, but terribly inattentive to my needs. Did I sleep with her in another life and left in the morning? Also, they ran out of Guinness on tap. That was kind of lame. A large beer was over 2 pints. The portions were ridiculously huge.
Not bad, I say, but also not the best in town.

Went back there on a Friday last weekend and Heroes (perfection) was having a bad night (imperfection). I guess bars/lounges, like people, can have bad nights.
Let's start off with the excessively loud, random rock music that was blasting so loudly you couldn't hear a whale scream. Another was the crowd. I had a friend with me who grew up in rural Ohio and even she was surprised at how run down, trashy, the crowd looked!
Top it all off they weren't handing out peanut shells. Wtf?
Basically, I'm going to chalk this up to Heroes had a bad night and that all the great bartenders, music DJs, and waiters were on vacation.
However, I had this amazing Belgium white pale ale that was crisp and delicious without having a single aftertaste. So the beer was still on par!

not really my type of place because if you didn't know, i hate people. just kidding. for some reason whenever i come here it's always super loud and crowded and that's probably because it's hereos and everyone goes to heroes. i like the bar & the grill but not at the same place at the same time when it's crowded. and that probably doesn't make sense.
i like the whole peanuts concept but i never throw my shells on the floor because i feel like i'm making a mess... even thought that's the whole point! i know, i'm weird.
i always feel like a hobbit when sitting at the table because they serve monster size portions. i mean i had to eat my hamburger with a fork because the hamburger looked as big as my head. it looked amazingly delicious but i was disappointed when it turned out to be a little bland. i ate not even half and had to take the rest home. and yeah... what's up with charging 50 cents for ranch?
i think my favorite thing about heroes is the beer. i like ice cold hulk size mugs filled with beer. it takes me two arms to carry one or else my arm shakes and i look like i'm having a seizure but i manage.
overall, the service is great and the servers are always super attentive but after the last time i was there, not so much. my brother forgot his phone at the table and when he called to inform them, they didn't even look to find it. they told him to call "tomorrow." he had to go back in and disturb the couple sitting there after us. "excuse me sir, yr sitting on my phone." yeah, awkward.

For the money that you pay going to bars for drinks this place will give you your monies worth. The drinks are huge and the food is not that bad either. The only issue with this place is that it can get really crowded and uncomfortable. If you come here the key is to get a seat out in the patio as it is way more comfortable to be on the patio then in the restaurant with no room to move. It is usually impossible to get to the bar--so if you need a refill either locate a waitress or send one or two people to get a group of drinks. My suggestion would be to open a tab at the bar and then go to a table, they will put the drinks on the tab at the bar but they won't open it with the waitress. Overall, every time we come here we always have a great and wild time.
Just a side note, we went there for St. Patrick's day and had a blast. They had green beer and green shots. They had some St. Patties day decor--it was way cool. Our group always goes here for St. Patties as it is always a blast.

Ok here is how it goes, I am leaning more towards the I am a fan so about 3.5 stars range but I just can't get over the D-Bag factor of patrons that frequent this place.
With that being said, I would like to let everyone know that they have some GOOD and I mean GOOD foody! HUGE elephant sized portions and I always have great service. They all pull tips at the end of the night so anyone who works that is basically your server, so don't be afraid to ask for whatever you need from any staffer that walks by your table.
I prefer lunch over dinner at heroes so you can hang with more a mature crowd but because of their over 100 beers on tap selections that can kind of get someone who loves beer like me in TROUBLE.
Go to Heroes with a big group because that is the atomosphere and enjoy throwing your peanut shells on the floor.
Also the owners are really involved in the Fullerton community and I always appreciate knowing stuff like that.
In conclusion, 4 stars for the food and beer and the 3 stars for the crowd and how packed it can get.
Outdoor patio is awesome on a hot summer day but that shit gets packed at night and on the weekends.

Heroes is the best place to go if you love sharing meals with people. With that in mind, sharing a meal and buying a newcastle mixed with cider will make your night complete. $35ish Bucks will feed two people and give you over 4 pints of amazing beer, cant beat that price! The crowd is not Heroes fault and if people get to you then you didnt bring the right people with you =)! The service isnt top notch but thats why they have the peanuts to hold you over.....
Btw The nachos can feed 5 people easily and split costs little to nothing.....Stop being a glutton and bring down the portion size by sharing! If you cant do that then a place as awesome as heroes cant save you
I love Heros, and go here enough that the doorman doesnt need to card me anymore. Though they have enormous sized drinks, they are expensive! A large beer (significantly large) is $11, and a small is $7. Ouch! I have never bought a mixed drink here for fear of even higher prices. They do have a wide and I mean WIDE selection of beer. If you cant find what you like here, than there is something wrong!
The crowd is mixed and tends to be a bit more casual (bro like) crowd. Not TOO bad. If I can tolerate it, so can you. Also!, service is horrible on the weekends. The bartenders dont pay enough attention to who has been at the bar and who just walked up, so you may be served after someone who hasnt been waiting as long as you have. Speak up whenever possible!
I used to be a regular here until I realized that I was spending WAY too much money and I was always broke. They've got a great selection of beers on tap, and drinks are poured with a lead hand. Food is also good all around American Pub grub, with portions that could satisfy a pride of lions. I have to admit that this place is a guilty pleasure of mine, considering most of my other haunts.
The only thing I don't like here is A)The Service, and B)The Atmosphere. Service here is just above a high security prison. You have to fight for a drink, and when you finally get the attention of a waitress or bartender, you are going to get some attitude. That kinda kills it. Also, The sheer amount of people that this place crams in is a major buzzkill on most nights. Plus, it's a huge University/Flatbiller crowd, so it can become VERY annoying REALLY quickly. I'd recommend it on any weekday up until Thursday, because everyday after that the place is packed to the hilt.

A great bar with a great vibe, ideal place to chill with friends. It can get packed so come a bit earlier for a table to beat the rush, then you'll get table services even if you just want to drink.
-Interior
Decorated with lots o' green for Saint Patrick's Day, doesn't hurt to be prepared right? They have indoor and outdoor seating (though small), and a large bar with various beers. The thing that caught me off guard was the crunchiness of the floor, being able to eat and throw your peanut shells on the ground? COOL! There is also a digital jukebox where you can pick your tunes for a price. They randomly dimmed the lights and turned it back up, don't know why but it wasn't really a bother after a few mugs of beer.
-Food/Drinks
I didn't get the chance to eat here but they serve up the traditional American cuisine. They have different sizes of mugs for your beer, the largest is $10 but it's well worth it, holding the mug full of beer is a workout itself.
-Service
If you're able to get a seat at the bar then that's fine and dandy but I would recommend grabbing a table so the waitresses stop by once in a while to see how you're doing (all very lovely and friendly ladies). When you first sit down they'll bring a few bags of peanuts so you can contribute to the mounds of peanut shells on the ground. The kitchen seems timely because a table next to our's ordered food and it didn't seem too long for it to come out.
If you're in the area and don't want to deal with the smug bars that try to be a poppin' Hollywood club, then drop by here, relax and eat some nuts.
