Very sweet tasting room staff and solid wines. I really enjoyed the 06 Zin, which was quite peppery. The Merlot was good and I didn't taste the eucalyptus they mention on the wine description (that's usually a flavor that is kind off-putting in wines to me). The Barbara from the bottle was also very flavorful and seems like it will continue to improve (they've sold out of Barbaras in the bottle).
We left with a bottle of the Zin.

This was our favorite winery at the Old Sugar Mill. 2006 Pinot was good. 2004 Petite Sirah was bitter on the finish. 2006 Zin was yummy and different. 2006 Merlot was good for a Merlot (I am not a fan of Merlot usually). 2005 Late Harvest Chardonnay was good and so was the NV Petite Sirah Port.
