This is a small but good used book and euro style game store.  I went there for the games mostly.  They don't have a ton of shelf space but every box on the shelves is different; there were probably 50+ games.

In addition to being knowledgeable about the games, they also have some items which are hard to get in the US.  In particular they had 6 Nimmt which I had to pick up on a vacation in Germany because I couldn't find it in the US.

History

Established in 2005

Tim and I (Tina) had always dreamed of owning a used-book and game store.  Then in April 2005 an opportunity presented itself and after some research and work to put together a business plan, we decided to go for it - the bookstore portion, that is. We opened on August 5, 2005 with about 30,000 books stuffed on our shelves.

We took over the location, and bought the book stock, of a stamp store that also sold books. He'd been here over ten years and had accumulated quite a collection of books. After 2 weeks of non-stop painting, carpeting, cleaning and organizing, we made the place ours.

We've tried to create the kind of store we'd want to shop: with comfy chairs for relaxing and reading, friendly staff who are always willing to help you, but don't hover when you just want to browse, basically a store with an overall inviting atmosphere.

Towards the end of 2008, we branched into board games and card games, fulfilling our initial dream of a book and game store.
