This is a nice, big (8 acre) park with tennis and basketball courts. It should fulfill whatever you're looking for in a neighborhood park. There is an ancient play structure modeled after a railroad yard. It's easy to find parking on the street. It has a paved walkway so you can go half-way around the park, to the play structure and to the tennis courts, with a wheelchair or stroller. For little kids, I would recommend the much smaller Everett Alvarez Jr. Park (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) just a few blocks south on Los Padres.
