I worked with Henna San Diego for my wedding a couple months ago and they were professional, flexible and produced great art work.
The entire staff was early for each event and were willing to stay later without any questions. Not to mention, they are very reasonably priced relative to a lot of other Henna artists in the SoCal area.
I would highly recommend Henna San Diego! -

Tejal is a sweet, loving and caring person and on top of that she is a fabulous mendhi artist. All of these traits are critical when you are selecting the person who you want doing your mendhi for the most important day of your life. I would recommend her with no hesitation.

I'm so sad to see that one star review. Because Tejal is super gifted and so sweet to work with. After seeing her website last year, I called her up and told her that I had to book her for my July 2nd wedding before anyone else snatches her. She came over on last Thursday and sat with me for 5 and a half hours applying the most beautiful mehndi design freehand. It looked so fabulous when done and it still looks fabulous now. Initially, when we took the dried mehndi off, the red wasn't dark enough. So I called her and she immediately picked up the phone and told me what to do to get it to look dark. I had really red dark hands for my wedding and was in total bliss. I highly highly recommend Tejal.

Tejal is a very talented pregnancy henna artist, who was easy to schedule an appointment with and priced very competitively. She was able to keep a steady hand even as we chatted and the baby kicked :)
Her office is home-based but extremely clean and tastefully decorated. She has many samples available of her work. -

One of my best friends was getting married and she had Tejal Shah at the Sangeet. There must have been about 100+ women waiting in line for Tejal's henna services. Good thing I was in the wedding party! I got a front of the line pass!
Tejal was great, very polite, professional and kept the women in order. No cutsies people! I only had the back of both my hands done with the henna and it only took Tejal 10 minutes to work her masterpiece.
I highly recommend Tejal Shah if your looking for someone for henna art. -

I found T. by using Yelp on Wednesday and was able to hire her for that same Sunday. She came right on time and ready to work. There were 20 guests at the party - age range was 8 to 78 - and everyone LOVED having their henna done. In two hours she did at least 25 designs. Everyone was very pleased with her quality of work and professional demeanor.

I was looking for a mehndi artist in the North San Diego area and found Tejal's website. There is an extensive picture gallery of her work there which shows her cultural style and range of artistic capability. She uses quality (henna) ingredients and is competitively priced.
I went with 3 of my girlfriends and it was an awesome, fun experience. We enjoyed meeting Tejal and look forward to the next time. -

Found Tejal Shah on a henna website that came up in a Google search. The link led me to a very professional website with examples of her stunning work. I'm thrilled to have found her! She's been doing henna for 10 years and it shows. I arrived at her house in Rancho Penasquitos, she helped me choose a simple traditional design for my ankle, and she was done in less than 15 minutes...and it looked incredible! I'm going back for more as soon as this one wears off. I might be hooked...
