I wish that we had the kind of funky stores in the DC area that Tahoe City has - but of course it's a whole different culture and vibe out here and I'd be willing to bet these stores would not thrive in the DC area.
I wanted to take at least half of the stuff in Hemmings & Jarrett home with me from a home decor standpoint.
The place feels so warm and inviting!
I ended up buying a Christmas decoration - three Christmas gifts/boxes that light up from the inside. Each box is a different size, is red, and has a red ribbon. Cost me about $75 - I also paid them to ship the decoration home to me.
