DON'T expect a call back!  i needed bartenders for my wedding and left 5 or 6 messages and NO CALL BACK.  RUDE.  especially since i had talked to someone and she had promised a call back within 48 hours.  what kind of business is that?  i would NOT recommend that.  it added a lot of stress to the situation.

I just ordered from Hearty Boys for a corporate lunch event, which was my very first time ever.  Let me just say, I was very impressed with the customer service I received on the phone when placing my order, as well as, the promptness of the delivery.

However, the one thing that impressed me the most was the AMAZING quality of the food!  I ordered their wrap meals which consisted of a variety of wraps including: Chicken Ceaser (traditional yuminess), Southwestern Chicken (which had a fabulous zing to it) Cubano (ham, turkey and cheese), and Portobello Mushroom (which had a very tasty cream cheese basalmic dressing).  With that meal I was able to choose two sides and I chose their sweet potato salad and their tortellini salad, both supurb choices.  Then to finish the meal off I ordered their dessert tray complete with lemon bars, coconut bars, and lucious chocolate brownie bars.

Everyone who attended the lunch was very impressed and we had enough leftovers to enjoy for the rest of the week!  

Thank you Hearty Boys for making me look fabulous!  You will hear from me again.

We had Hearty Boys cater a party on one of the boats on the River. I had a hard time getting a call back and then had a bad experience with our first sales rep (inaccurate proposal, unresponsive). Then we found out he had left (quit, fired?). The new rep was better but still not very attentive. We always had to follow-up and stay on top him. Somehow this company forgets that we are paying them.

We had a nice tasting. The proposal following the tasting didnt match what we tasted. It was revised. The night of the event they served an item we didnt order in place of something we really wanted.

If they hadnt been on 'approved vendor list' of the boat, we would have dropped them at the beginning. But we had to stick with them. There are too many capable caterers to have to worry about all this.

I would use someone else.

I just went to a wedding on NYE that Hearty Boy's catered, and it was so awesome I actually (drunkenly) pondered working for them.  The food was out of this world (beef tenderloin, tilapia, salad, some awesome brussel sprout dish), and the staff was super friendly and professional.  I mean, I would be a little miffed if I had to work a wedding on NYE, but these gals/guys were so incredibly pleasant that I (drunkenly) wondered if they were robots.  

Yeah, I would totally hire these guys to do my culinary dirty work for me.

This review is solely based on the opening debut of the space.
Unfortunately we were not able to take part in the cooking show video making at this gathering...but I will say from everything I saw, this is going to be Awesome!  

The small storefront restaurant is really warm and quaint inside, with beautiful autumn colors and brick surrounding you (it was a perfect destination for a chilly fall day).  The cooking counters are beautiful and would make any aspiring chef want to premiere there TV debut here.

The idea of "cooking karaoke" seems like a pretty universal dream of most.  I mean, how many times have you been cooking in the kitchen alone, staring into the window across from you, spurting out your recipes joyfully for your imaginary audience out there...it's not just me .. right?  And, with TV show like Top Chef, Iron Chef, and the array of Food Network productions, who doesn't think they can do it!?

Anyway, I can only hope I have the opportunity to actually take part in this concept...if YOU do have this chance... do it!  The staff is super awesome, as always, the location and interior are also very inviting and comfortable.

I LOVE these guys!  They've done house parties for me and I've always had a relaxed and fun evening. The staff has always been awesome and left my house looking better than before they got here ...which, in my opinion, is kind of worth the price right there :)...  Anyway, I've been to 2 weddings they've catered too and have never been disappointed.  They do these little lamb burgers that rock!!
