Ok, so I am extremely type-A and when it came to my wedding, I was nervous about relinquishing control to ANY of my vendors. I have to say, though, that Hearty Boys did an AMAZING job. We worked with Edgar, who was so unbelievably great. He was so organized, so well prepared, so communicative and so easy to work with. Honestly, in some ways I felt like we didn't even need a Day-Of-Coordinator because he had EVERYTHING under control.
Oh, and the food=crazy delicious. It was really important to us that we have food that people would actually EAT at our wedding, and they did a fabulous job. Our menu had southern style chicken with gravy, blackened salmon, buttermilk biscuits, roasted vegetables, mixed green salad with chevre and date vinaigrette, plus sick-delcious late night snacks of lamb burgers, pizza, and super fun appetizers. Edgar worked with us to create a wonderful family-style menu that fit our budget, all our guests raved about the food, and the service was spectacular. Plus, even though everyone says the bride and groom don't get to eat at their wedding, they had servers JUST FOR US who made sure we got to try everything.
Seriously--if you want good food, great service and zero worry, go with Hearty Boys. They are awesome!

In general, I was quite pleased with HB Catering and I was most pleased that the few things I thought needed improvement were taken in gladly. A true professional knows there is always room for improvement.
Today's catering fed 90 staff at my institution and the majority were very pleased with their meals. We ordered a range of their sandwiches, including the Roast Beef with Brie (a hit), Roast Turkey, Vegetarian (another hit), and Chicken Salad.
The entree salads looked amazing, especially the Spinach Cobb.
I was very glad that I had a chance to try the Peppers and Eggs sandwich-- SO good.
Give HB a try for corporate catering. Easy to work with, open to suggestion, and adept at what they do.

I wanted to love The Hearty Boys, I thought they would be just the ones to make a simple, elegant, yet a little funky and unusual menu for the reception. Aurieann was very nice and asked a lot of questions, but I got the feeling that they were used to a lot bigger of budget and size of event than what I am having.
The quote came back and it worked out to be $160 for each of our 75 guests. Now I am willing to make a nice party for my friends and family, but I am not THAT nice. Seriously. When I emailed to say I wanted to work on getting the price down but I was still interested in using them as a caterer, I never heard back. Oh well! Sorry we couldnt do business!

AMAZING! People are still talking about our awesome wedding food! From the planning (Aurieanne was AWESOME!) to the food and service (the waiters and bartenders rocked!) the night was perfect! I loved that we (bride and groom) had our "own" waiter who made sure we had drinks and food all night long. This was nice because people kept wanting to talk and I was starving! Food and drink just magically appeared =) I recommend them to anyone getting married or throwing a party!

Aurieanne put my wedding together-- and let me just tell you, she did an AMAZING job.
Everyone has been RAVING about our food (our menu was simply amazing).
Most importantly: She is responsible.
From picking our linen colors, complimenting foods, to the impeccable set up-- Aureanne saved the day.
All of our wedding vendors did a great job, but Aurieanne really set the tone for the evening. The room looked a million times more amazing than I had imagined, and the food ROCKED.
I would definitely trust the Hearty Boys (and most importantly, Aurieanne) to put together my future events. Highly recommended & worth every penny!

We worked with Aurieann for catering our wedding and it all came out amazing! We continue to get complements on how great the food was. We have never been to a wedding where we remembered how great the food was.
We really liked how the food tastings were set up along with picking the linens, chairs, etc. Hearty Boys also worked along side with Architectural Artifacts to make sure everything was perfect! Aurieann did a great job putting it all together! We were so happy with the outcome.
