Ronnie is amazing.  I've been training with him for 3 weeks and I already see results.  I wanted someone who could help with strength training and preparation for a marathon and Ronnie is the one!

His work outs aren't easy, and as Evan said, its unlike anything I've ever experienced.  Every session is different. You feel stronger and notice an increase in your performance levels every time you work out.

He's also very educated on nutrition which is a huge factor when training and getting in shape.

Of all the trainers I've been to, he's by far the best!  I can't say enough good things about him.

    Get in shape with Ronnie!

I've been training with Ronnie for about 3 months now.  I went in looking for accountability and hoping to shed a few lbs.
Now...I've played sports my entire life and I consider myself to be athletic - even when/if I fall out of shape.     Football, rugby, swimming...I'm used to pushing myself.

The training was unlike anything I've ever experienced.  Constant movement without use of the basic weight lifting.   It's a combo of cardio and calisthenics with a dash of resistance.   Integration of pull ups, push ups, running up stairs, kettle bells, squats and medicine balls.   The results?  I ran a 10k (6.2 miles) in 1:11:10 which for me -- is darn good.  I just have a ton of physical energy and strength.  I'm in the best shape that I've been in for about 10 years.

We did a circuit for time --- run up 11 flights of stairs, do 40 no-weight squats, 30 sit ups, 20 push ups, 10 burpees.  I did it once and then a month later improved by a full minute.

Trust me on this - if you have the desire and the resources to get yourself in a really healthy place - Ronnie's Health Conquest absolutely delivers.

As stated in other posts, Ronnie is a great trainer.  He really incorporates a lot of different exercises that build your endurance, strength, and keeps it really fun.  His classes are very interactive, and you not only learn a lot, but get a GREAT workout.  Ronnie emphasizes overall fitness, this includes stretching and flexibility too.  FIVE STARS FOR THE GROUP KICKBOXING CLASS!

Ronnie is a fantastic personal trainer, and so much more than that. Sometimes I am blown away by his knowledge. Training clients in his own gym facility, he gets them into good health and shape faster, more efficient, and more creative than any other personal trainer I worked with in the past. he is never just "working you out", but rather like a scientist working on your body.

His whole-body workouts and expert advice on nutrition are always tailored to my specific needs, and have helped me build up muscles I didn't even know I had. He has a plan for me and I know the crazy stuff he has me do every week is for a reason. Ronnie helped me stabilize a light scoliosis and lose 12 pounds of excess fat within four weeks, and more is still melting off.

Definitely recommended, go check him out, his personal gym is much more adapted to serving clients individually than those big gyms in which trainers let everyone do the same exercises, can't focus as much on your specific needs and don't have the knowledge and expertise that Ronnie embodies, literally.

Specialties

Here at health conquest we specialize in bringing people's bodies back to their natural state of being a lean fully functional machine.  Humans are naturally designed to have a state of functionality. We were all once running through fields hunting mastodons everyday. So the goal is to get back to that strong, sexy , and functional state.
Since this is natural there will be no supplements recommended here. Ronnie specializes in making sure everyone's diet is 100% what their body needs and expects to be in optimal shape. Diet and Exercise is less about calories in and calories burned than it is about the hormonal and metabolic effects it will have in your body. The quickest way to fat loss and muscle gain is hormones. What we eat and the activities we do influence these hormones. Food is more powerful than any drug when it comes to hormonal shifts and exercise intensity will determine how much of a shift is needed to keep up with activity.
Ronnie knows the body down to a cellular level.

History

Established in 2006

Ronnie has never worked for a gym, but he used to train the majority of his clients at a private gym. This was very restrictive to his style. His clients use lots of floor space and equipment, they jump, swing, throw, catch, grunt, scream, kick, sweat, and run around like a monkey.
Since this is Ronnie's passion, he was determined to see fit that his clients had the best training environment. His first piece of equipment he bought was a squat cage(which he still has). He gave his couch away and put it in his living room along with a bunch of dumbbells, kettlebells, olympic weights and functional equipment. He had the basics and knowledge, and he made it work.
Since then he has had 4 different facilities, each one bigger and better than the last. His current functional fitness facility is located on the penthouse level of the Santa Fe Lofts building. The loft is 2400 sq feet of completely costume gym. He is still building and expanding in both equipment and his knowledge.
