Went to Headmaster to cut off my dreads. Had them 5 years and it was a little hard to do it. But the peeps at Headmaster made it real easy. Barbers are friendly, highly skilled, and personable. Lots of funny conversations happening around me.
Definitely a good value for my money. No wait since I went midday, midweek. There was one other patron, a famous character actor. And everyone in the joint treated each other with respect, no more no less.
My boyfriend goes here whenever he needs a haircut in LA, and he's usually really picky. I think he's tried probably 10 different barber shops in the W. LA area that he'll never go back to before he found Headmasters. He usually goes to Sean, but yea... there's no where to sit, no bathrooms, and there's only metered street parking.
The wait isn't too bad usually and most of the time they have a slew of barbers available. I always get a good cut when i go. No Bathrooms just so you know.
They have parking on the street and don't forget to bring change for the meters!
