As a photographer myself, I knew how important it is to select the perfect wedding photographer to get the job done right. I've known Hung for years and know how passionate he is about every wedding that he shoots. Not sure I can trust anyone else to capture this priceless non-repeatable photography moments that everyone wants to have forever. This was MY day and thanks to him, he helped make it possible.

I wish I could not tell anyone about Hung and keep him my secret! But, alas, the other brides out there need to know about him! I had a traditional Vietnamese ceremony followed by a western style wedding at my church and I was a little nervous at how a wedding photographer would capture both ceremonies respectfully and uniquely. We wanted formal, traditional photos, but all candid shots. Additionally, we had over 300 people and I wanted to make sure the wedding photographer we picked could handle such a large scale wedding and still give us intimate shots. I know this sounds silly, but I wanted a big wedding AND I wanted it to feel intimate and special.

I really had nothing to worry about. Hung was able to capture such elegant shots of both ceremonies, and he got so many images of everyone. The wedding was huge, but Hung helped make it feel special. I am so glad Hung shot our wedding. The only problem I have now is choosing our favorite photos!

Hung was our wedding photographer back in, wait what year did we get married Jojo? Oh that's right, Hung was our kickass wedding photographer back in 2007. We loved his artistic style and the way he photographed without interfering in the events of the day. We got to know him really well in the months prior to our wedding doing the engagement shoot, so we felt really comfortable with him on the day of. We were able to really have fun with it and we were so happy with our photos and album! We even did a day after shoot with him at the Salton Sea and the pictures came out so amazing! His wedding photography is unrivaled and his customer service is above and beyond. When looking at wedding photographers, we wanted someone that not only had a great artistic eye, but also someone that could give us a sense of reassurance that they would capture every beautiful moment on our special day.

HCT is the best wedding photographer....PERIOD! Prior to our wedding day, Hung scouted out great spots to take our wedding pictures. He also did the same when it came to our engagement pictures. Our wedding day was crazy and hectic, but never once did we feel rushed with Hung. Hung was organized, cool, calm and collective which made us feel safe and reassured on our crazy special day. As a wedding photographer, his sense of style is trendy, modern, and artistic. There is a lot of thought behind his photographs, composition, lighting, and processing.

We have referred many clients to Hung to become their wedding photographer and they were ALL very satisfied as he exceeded their expectations. One of our referrals even got her wedding photos published in a magazine!!! She was chosen out of numerous submittals!

What can we say about Hung? He is not only our wedding photographer but has now become one of our good friends. When we first met Hung, we had an instant connection. Hung has a lively personality, it's hard not to be drawn to him. Hung is very professional and sincerely cares about making you happy. He always returned my emails, phone calls & text immediately.

At our wedding day, he drove from San Diego to Orange County starting from 8am to 11pm. I never saw him put the camera down, which of course made me worry because I wanted him to eat but he told me he prefers not having down time. Wow! So he wants to keep working? Yup and work is what he did. When we saw the wedding photos we were completely blown away. They were absolutely gorgeous and made us so happy to see he had caught every detail. I honestly don't know how he was able to capture all those moments. Hung's photography style is very different from other photographers. He is very artistic and uses light to highlight the image. With that being said, you know your photos will not be like anyone else's. I could go on and on and on about how great Hung is and his side kick Marissa are, whom together make the perfect team!

I met Hung and Marissa when I was a bridesmaid at a girlfriend's wedding. They were so much fun!!! They were laid back and snapped photos as the day progressed naturally. Let me emphasize the word, "naturally". Their energy and chemistry was so good. They were both outgoing and knew how to have fun. We had so much fun laughing and shooting throughout the day.

The wedding day aside, my friend showed me her wedding photos and they were breath taking! I saw photos of us helping the bride get ready. He actually took photos w.out us knowing! I really liked his work. The lighting was very dramatic, which flattered our features. His photos had great story telling. It told us how the day went, whether we were paying attention or not.

Would I recommend Hung? Hail yes!

After looking through hundreds (literally) of portfolios we narrowed it down to just a few, but after meeting Hung we knew that we had found the perfect match to us. He is a pleasure to be around and has an amazing creative eye. He's just that sort of real photograph that you want around on your special day.

He was easy to communicate with and was always quick with his responses to any of our questions. He is got this amazing ability at capturing our most intimate and natural moments. I love the photos that he has shown us so far and can't wait to see the rest!

HCT was hired by my company to do some product lifestyle photography for advertising and marketing materials (headphones and earphones). It was a little out of the norm for him in terms of his usual gigs but I was confident his natural skills would translate perfectly. Aside from his obviously brilliant photography skills he was extremely diligent in scouting amazing locations as well as models for the shoot. He and his assistant did a great job and made it very easy for our company to get this done. I would not only recommend their services for weddings but also commercial shoots.
To top it off the pricing was very reasonable which was icing on the cake at that point.

I got married to my beautiful wife in 2012 and I always wanted to write a review for these guys but didn't get a chance. Last night I was going through our wedding album and it was perfect!

They did a great job. I usually don't look good in pictures and I make this weird face - most likely because I don't look good and have a weird face but seriously, they did an excellent job. I will be proud to show our wedding album to our grand kids someday

I love Hung's photos!! He's the best photographer ever!! He's so funny and makes us laugh every time. I love the fact that his photos of us are so natural and not set up or staged. He's a true photo journalist!

Hung shot my wedding a few years ago, and every time i see the pictures it feels like yesterday. He captures that moment in time that can't be staged, planed or recreated. The photos bleed with emotion and life. I don't even remember him being there for most of the shots. He works in the shadows observing the things most people don't ever see. I would recommend hctran photography in a heartbeat. Don't waste your money on some lame photog that has no sense of the moment, no style, no heart. Hung is the best. He loves you. I can feel it.
