This is where I go to reenact the glory days of Boris Becker v. Ivan Lendl, circa 1989.  Headbands, wristbands, short white shorts in tow.

It's a solid court tucked in between Hayes Valley and the projects that exist just a few steps away to the west.  Always interesting cruising past w/ tennis gear.

The playground is open until 10pm, lights tend to go on about 7:30 -- although that might have changed since daylight savings.  Check it out -- but shhhhh....don't tell too many peeps, as the best part of this place is knowing that it's usually available!

The lights stay on until 10pm so you really can't ask for a better outdoor court on a weeknight. I would give this court , and the entire park--which also includes a tennis court, five stars if the rims here didn't go out of their way to embarass me everytime I try to finish on a fast break.
