Large showroom in downtown Bend with enough floor space to display a good selection of quality upholstered furniture, case goods, accessories and art work in a variety of styles from casual to contemporary to traditional. And that just scratches the surface of what they are able to order for customers.
Very friendly and helpful sales staff for product and design advice. Good selection of fabric libraries to go with the upholstered lines they carry. Also has a nice selection of seasonal "stuff" (Halloween and fall displayed now) as well as gift / hostess gift and home dining items (like Vietri tableware) across price points - some pretty inexpensive.
Yes, prices are a little higher in some items (example: some upholstery Iines) than you might pay for same at Salem / Portland area stores (even including shipping) but if we want local businesses to thrive in Bend then supporting them is important. And if the businesses want to thrive, as this one seems to be even after two other furniture stores at the same location failed, they provide something extra, like great service as here, to offset the higher prices. Market symbiosis. But the igher prices are one of the reasons we don't buy more here.
Another plus for Haven Home Slyle is the inventory turns over quickly enough that if you go back regularly you'll have the advantage of continually seeing new things - until you find the right thing! Surrounded by windows at their corner of Bond and Minnesota street location, the mechandising is so well laid out - inluding enough room in the pathways to navigate easily - in the bright interior that it almost calls out "Come In and Look at Me" We recommend you do that..
