Haunted House on Hill Street
1 review for Haunted House on Hill Street
This place is closed!!!
Why? I have no idea. Well, I kind of do. The own lived out of town and it got to hard to manage.
I recently went to the Jesse James Wax Museum in Stanton, MO. So I decided on my drive back home to Chicago I'd take pretty massive detour to go to this vague memory of my childhood. The House on Haunted Hill with the Mark Twain wax museum.
So I drove all the way to Hannibal and the doors are locked.
I remember this place as being one of the coolest little attractions in Hannibal. Sure, it's Mark Twain's hometown, and across the street is his childhood home and the stuff every middle school student reads about.
But in that same place, once existed a haunted house with creepy skeleton-skeletors, and waxy figures from America's own fiction history. So cool!
I hope someone buys and reopens this place. Or I'm gonna have to.
