My review is for the original haunted Cape May tour.  For some reason I couldn't find any brochures for this tour the last time I visited Cape May.  I had to rely on memory.  I remembered that the Hotel Macomber  sublet to a ghost tour.  I took my chances and booked reservations for me and my boyfriend on this tour.  It was fun.   Our tour began on an early june evening.  We walked from home to home during a non-stop misting rain and possible thunderstorm.  During our second stop half of our tour claimed they witnessed a haunting consisting of whistling and a slamming door.  The tour took about an hour and a half, in the least there were five stops.  Some of the locals like to "scare" you along the way, and that always makes for a good laugh.  So weather you believe in the paranormal, it's good fun and will let you in on at least one or two twisted back stories to the town.

I have been wanting to take this tour for years, and I finally got around to it. The owners are ghost investigators who whole heartedly believe in the real deal. No fairy tale ghost stories here - it's all personal and real accounts. I enjoyed this tour because it was casual, not stuffy, and it allowed you to walk some of Cape May's most beautiful streets and notice details on the houses you just can't get driving by. Allow an hour and a half.

Pretty good tour.  Only drawback was the teen girls who giggled and made it hard to hear the guide.  Come early and sit closer to the front of the bus!
