Hashi is impossibly hard to find. Especially since the signs for Stone Bar and Grill are still up. After three circles around the block, I saw a small sign that Hashi was the old Stone Grill.
Me and my friends sat inside, on the first floor at the sushi bar. Dennis, the supervisor, was helping us out with what to order. We tried the kobe beef carpaccio, fire oysters, salmon cakes, the "Dennis special," jumbo prawns on top of fried scallops and mayonnaise shrimp. (All of them were small plates so that we could try a variety.) They were all excellent and surprisingly not expensive. We didn't try the NY steak, but someone else in the restaurant was eating it and it smelled yummy. It's a great option for those who don't care for seafood.
For dessert we had creme brulee and green tea cheesecake. They were so delicious! I loved both of them.
Also the service was impeccable, and very professional. The decor is modern and since this is a japanese fusion restaurant, it is appropriate. I will definitely come back.

This restaurant is a great place for fusion food. I knew Dennis, the head chef, when he was doing sushi at another restaurant. He has taken good sushi and added much variety.
The food looks and tastes great.
I was expecting some sort of problems with the food or service since they just opened but didn't experience any.
Great staff. Ask for Dennis.
