Those bitches stole my quarters!  I also ordered the new car scent which seemed to reek of old man cologne, making me and the rest of my poor friends nauseous.

Came to Harv's Car Wash to get the car washed.  They basically offer 3 different washes here for $20, $25, and $32 dollars.  If you go online they do offer a $5 off coupon.

It's your typical drive up to and get your car wash done situation.  Getting in here can be a little tight as they have cars coming in and leaving close to the same area.  I decided to get the $25 wash.  It's an automatic car wash and they run your car through the machine and gets everything done.  Probably took about 20 minutes to get the car wash.

As to the quality, it was ok.  Definitely have had better washes at other places.  They are more about mass production than quality, so your car will be clean, but not as clean as other places I've been to.  The interior job was ok.  More of a surface quick wipe down than a get you clean feel to it.  But again, in a pinch will work.  Comparatively speaking, they are $5 higher than most places for the same type of wash with the $5 coupon, it comes in line with what you would pay for at other car washes.

Overall, Harv's does in a pinch, but not worth going out of your way.  Average car wash gets Harv's Car Wash a lack luster 3 star rating.

don't like paying big bucks for a car wash, would rather wash/vacuum/ armor all it myself (however I wast about 4 hours doing this, so I end up doing it every couple of months, my car looks pretty ashy for a good 3 months becuase I'm lazy to wash it or pay to wash it)

well I went to the Mountain view jiffy lube and got a $17 off  coupon  for the $36 car wash/polish/armourall/vacuum/etc so I ended up paying $12 bucks.

The typical gas station car washes coast about $6-9 bucks and my care still looks dirty (and they don't include vacuuming, armor all and rainex).

I think I got a good deal for a good price and I only waited about 20 min.

They have a nice little shop to wait in with food & car products & nick nacks.

I would come back again only if the price was $12 bucks.

Go get the coupon at Jiffy lube (right next door).  They also take competitor coupons.

NOTE: My car is a 19998 Rav4 so I'm not so picky anymore about how clean it is.

I hadn't gotten a car wash in ages and my cute little 350z was all dusty and even the rims were super dirty. I'm a girl so I don't care THAT much about my car but it was getting pathetic.

The only reason I went to Harv's is because when they were Marlin's, I remember them doing a pretty good job. Wrong!

I got the Harv's Ultimate wash which included full service wash, underbody flush, wheel cleaner, coat sealant, tire dressing, air freshener, floor mats, and rust inhibitor for $31.99. I opted for some leather conditioner too for a bit more.

Sounds like a good deal for the price? I wouldn't know. I just agreed because the fast talking Latino dude at the drop off confused me. I just wanted my car to be all nice and clean. Ahhh!

Anyway, so when I went to pick it up, there were still these weird orange stains on it. I think bird poop turns orange or something. That's my theory. I had to ask them to re-polish all these spots. The interior wasn't spotless. I felt ripped off and the only thing I was glad about was my rims were now all shiny and clean.

One more star only because they are a green business.

You treat a mans car like you would treat your own...

I usually wash my car on my own but Ive been on a lazy tear this past month so i gave this place a shot.  I got the "Works Wash" ($21.99) with a armorall treatment inside for an additional $4.99.  The five extra busk just to wipe down the dash and side panels seemed a bit much but like i said before....I FEEL LAZY...

My rims were still freaking dirty (minus 1 star)! Other then that they did a decent job. No noticeable dirt on the body, mirrors were spotless, windows were spotless, interior was clean, and it was done in 15 min.  I still feel $29.99 to clean a civic is a bit much (minus 1 star) so next time I will get the cheaper wash and see how they do.

Kind of surprised by the negative reviews... Maybe I'm less particular than other people... maybe I just got a good deal.

This car wash has a system worked out with the Chevrolet Oil stop on Saratoga and Kiely. If you get your oil changed there, they give you a ten dollar coupon to get your car washed. If you use the coupon, Harv's gives you a ten dollar coupon to get your oil changed.

So I used the coupon (it was a standard exterior wash) and added on 5 bucks for interior cleaning and they did a damn fine job. I bought an air freshener and my total payment was under eight bucks.

Service was fine. They even took off my antenna for me, cleaned every nook and cranny and climbed into my tiny backseat to get everything (I drive a hatchback yaris). Higher quality than I expected.

True... I am a girl so that might have got me some favor. And I came on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't too busy.  But I recommend!

I took a coupon that I printed from their website.  It said it was the manager's special worth $36 for $16.99.  None of the staff seemed to be familiar with it but they gave me the rate anyway.  I shoulda known I was in trouble if they weren't familiar with the coupon.

They wash my car and clean the interior and then my car sits there for a long while.  I'm trying to figure out if it's done or still needs work when, finally, the manager dude calls that my car is ready.  I go over and notice that my rims and tires are still dirty.  I ask the manager and he gives me some crap about how the special doesn't include the rim and tire wash.  I didn't feel like paying more for it so I left.

How could the special be worth more than ALL of their full service wash packages but still manage to have less features than their lowest priced full service wash?  What a ripoff, these guys are obviously going for the bait-and-switch mechanism.

Overall, it was an OK job.  There are hard water marks on various parts of the exterior but it's pretty clean and shiny.  The rear window is very streaky.  The interior was vacuumed well but they did a pretty half-assed job cleaning the panels, cupholders, etc.

Oh well, I guess if I had paid $36, I'd be really pissed but at $17 it's just alright.

I don't plan on going back.

Buyer Beware if you use one of their coupons.

Absolutely the WORST car wash experience of my life.

First, they try to do a lot a fast talking to get you to pay for more than what you came in for.

Then, they warn you in a large sign to remove all your valuables from your car....so, I'm guessing that means they're telling you the employees are going to steal things if you don't.

Next, they run your car through the carwash and break your antenna in the process (and never warn you that that's a possibility, as one might think they would).

When your car comes out, they pull it into the sun and let it sit there for, oh about ten minutes while five employees stand around and do absolutely nothing and you wait for your car to be finished.  [Meanwhile, several other employees stand by and stare at you because you have breasts.]

By the time we walked over to our car (a good 40 or so minutes after we rolled in), there were dirt marks ALL OVER the car.  We talked to the guy "in charge" and he said that getting the dirt off was a detail job and we have to pay more to get that taken care of.  Mind you, there was never an apology for a miscommunication on their part or anything.  They just told us that we had to pay more if we wanted to be happy.

These guys are the worst car washers I've ever experienced.  I felt like a spectacle for all of the employees to oogle at while I was there and my car didn't get cleaned.

DON'T GO HERE...I don't plan on it ever again.

[P.S. About the oogling thing, I was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, so its not like I was asking to be stared at.]

This place ripped me off.

I paid a total of $38 for what I would like to call a standard car wash.  My car came out of the wash still looking like it was dirty.  There were water marks EVERYWHERE.  I didn't hesitate to not leave a tip.. they charged me enough.

What irked me the most was the guy I spoke with when I first pulled up to the car wash.  You know, the guy who typically asks you what kind of wash you want?  Yeah that guy.. he had long hair in a ponytail.. ugh.

I told him that I wanted my interior Armor-All'd.. and he said sure, that's fine.  I asked him how much it would be, he said if you just want the dash.. it'll be free.  I insisted that I preferred having the entire interior done.  He said, "No problem, I won't charge you."  That  mother f'r charged me $12.99 for it.

I'm totally non-confrontational so I just took the blow.. sucked it up and vow to never come back.
