Cozy pub-like atmosphere with the perfect Peddler's Village backdrop. The mozzarella sticks were great and unique! We decided to try them after seeing them in some other yelp reviews. The French onion soup was average or maybe slightly below. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the soup with all that gooey cheese but I've had better in terms of broth. Then we split the fish and chips, it gets my stamp of approval! We also got the blueberry bread pudding, so good. I'd go back!

I wasn't too impressed with Hart's Tavern. We were there on a busy Sunday night, and it took the waitress 15 minutes to approach our table. Their food selection is disappointing. I don't eat red meat or pork, so the only thing for me to eat on the menu was more or less a turkey sandwich or a salad. No thanks.
My boyfriend and I stopped in this past weekend to watch the end of the Eagles game and to warm up. We got the bruscetta, which was decent but had huge (1-2") chunks of fresh mozzarella which was rather odd.
We also had a couple beers and headed home after we were kicked out at 6 -- Yes, this places closes at 6 on Sunday, while the Eagles game is on blast on all their TVs.
If they are going to pretend to be a "sports bar", they should at least be open til the end of the Eagles game for crying out loud. -

Better than the Cock n bull and McDonald's. Beer is fine and the atmosphere is 4 stars.
Stick with the burgers and sandwiches if you're shopping around.
Sitting by the window is pretty nice unless it's windy out. Service is a little slow. -

Hart's used to be pretty decent. Last night's visit was unimpressive! Food was good but very overpriced! Dessert was very good not worth the money! Stick to burgers and Sandwiches!

It's open on Easter Sunday.
Went here a couple times. First time was Easter Sunday because it was the only place open that served food and not overpriced in Peddler's Village. Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me so I had soups both times (corn chowder and chili) as it was cold and I wanted to warm up. The soups were ok.
They have a full bar and different beers on tap.
What really puts this place down is the cleanliness. Both times I went, I had to get new cutlery multiple times as there was always dried food bits on it. Kind of ruins the appetite.
It's not a bad place for groups. The backside of the tavern has a lot more space where you can push together multiple tables (which we did for our party of 15). There are a few big tvs where they show sports. -

Hart's Tavern - right in PV servs an important purpose - to give shoppers an alternative place to grab a bite and a brewski at a place OTHER than the Cock 'n Bull.
I miss Jenny's - the old restaurant that is now Earl's Prime. (Don't get me started) and Hart's is easier to deal with than the spotted hog - which is loaded with strollers.
You can get a decent (if overpriced) sandwich here and chill out for a while before returning to the throngs of holiday shoppers. -

Probably the better place to eat when at the "Village", be prepared to wait in line to get in, usually about 30 minutes. The service is attentive and the food is very good. Like their chili bowl with a beer in the winter months.

Great place to eat at Peddler's Village - very reasonably priced (not your typical - overpriced tourist attraction food.) Food was tasty and large portions. Cozy atmosphere. The bathroom left A LOT to be desired but most restaurants have lousy restrooms. I would definitely recommend.

Pub fare. Corned beef was ok.

it's a standard, classic pub. the atmosphere has a grimy charm and it smells like old frier grease. you feel like you're in your uncle's basement bar. it's a good low-key hangout for a beer if you don't expect it to be fancy-pants. my most recent trip here we just got wings (surprisingly good) and a heaping plate of onion rings. the onion rings are served with a horseradish sauce which is pretty tasty. i'd stick to beers and apps but i'm sure you can't go wrong with a burger or other sandwich.
and FYI, for those of you who don't know, you can't really go out hard in the village. there is a no shots and no doubles policy at every bar. -

Hart's Tavern is right in Peddler's Village and offers an intimate setting for any meal. I was here for dinner with family awhile ago - service was friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my BBQ baby back ribs ($12) - they're awesome and quite tasty, with meat that slides right off the bone. The cole slaw that came with it wasn't bad. Recommended!

For it being in Peddler's Village, only way it gets 3-stars. Its OK, go every Dec-1st week , for the grand illumination festival, long wait, cold outside, still had to wait like 30-40 minutes. My Best friend & I went , , he got burger, Don't remember what I got, that means, it was lackluster, if I forget. Nothing to write home about..seek other eateries.

Yum! I think out of the dozen or so times I've come to Peddler's, I've been to Hart's at least half of them. I highly recommend the potato/corn soup and basically anything else on the menu is great. I like the lighting inside and the overall atmosphere, very pub.

I really enjoyed Hart's Tavern! We came here for lunch. I ordered a crab cake sandwich with seasoned fries that was very tasty. My boyfriend had a chicken caesar salad which he also enjoyed. We needed something quick and cheap and Hart's Tavern was both. Highly recommended.

Great service, friendly atmosphere. Excellent place for a brew and some quick chow. Probably one of the best French Onion soups I've had. Right in Peddler's Village and serves as overflow from the Cock & Bull Tavern.

I've read the previous reviews for this place and am truly surprised that anyone could possibly come here and be disappointed. It's a pub located within an outdoor shopping center (Peddler's Village), so lets get that settled right off the bat. While that sounds questionable and could potentially be a recipe for disaster, in this case it all comes together amazingly well. For me it means driving out on a Sunday afternoon to stroll around the manicured grounds, browse the shops/outlets and then come inside to a cozy, affordable meal of comfort food at sundown. I never fail to order the chicken corn chowder which to me is the best I've had anywhere...ever. If you have several people in your party then you must also share the nachos with the works. The portion is more than generous, the chips are toasted golden brown and they are always so, so good. Do as you wish for the main course but if you still have room for dessert (and at this point, I rarely ever do) then try the frozen hot chocolate. Like everything else here, its very good. Come with the right mindset, follow my recommendations and I defy anyone to be in the slightest bit disappointed.

Nice location with friendly service but the food is nothing to write home about. I went with 2 others and we all thought our food was only ok. I'll check into other places next time I'm at Peddler's Village.
