Okay hotel in the middle of no where. I have been here for business trip numerous times. Some people front desk are way too arrogant, but others are very helpful and nice.. The hotel bar food exceeded my expectation - its definitely better than other hotel bar foods. I loved their shrimp fra diablo but their new menu doesn't have it any more. :(
Gym is very small and the swimming pool has hot tub too.. Again, it is okay hotel but I wouldn't stay here if it costs more than $200 to be there. If you can get it for less than $100 by any chance.. that should be okay.. -

Kind of cheesy for a Marriott, especially for $220 per night in the suburbs. A really, really irritating $12.95 for Internet, and you have to pay twice if you want to use it on your laptop and on your cell phone.
On the other hand I came in late and the restaurant was still open and they made me scrambled eggs instead of an omelette at my request. I was here for a conference and the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful on conference matters. Kudos to them! -

So the Saturday night I stayed here some drunken idiot pulled the fire alarm at 12:35AM and it took over 15 minutes for the fire department to get there to turn it off. The walls are thin so you hear people in the hallways talking, going to their rooms and what not. Staff were all very nice, but its too noisy

hotel bar in the middle of no where - ok but being stuck there it wasn't like choice was an option - I would never make a special trip for this at all

Food is not great here. Wilted spinach was an option at the omelette bar. The breakfast melon was hard as rocks.

I've written TWO letters about my terrible experience and made numerous phone calls to the manager of the Rocky Hill Marriot. Two weeks ago he said he'd see if he could issue a refund or a free night stay and never called me back. One month later, still no resolution. Buyer beware.
