Best burgers and roasted clams I've ever had.  And I've tried plenty.  I love Harpoon Willys, its a cute bar/restaurant that has views of the Manasquan River.  You have to sit at the bar though and have the bartenders make you the open grilled burgers, as well as the roasted clams and the french fries.  The hamburger I love is served medium rare, toasted bun with grilled onions and gorgonzola cheese.  OMG, its so yummy...meaty, juicy, flavorful with the tart creamyness that the gorgonzola gives it.  The fries are homemade, all the right spice consistency, crisp and good.  The caesar salad is also very good, homemade and with a bit of bite from the anchovies.  The roasted clams...oh how I love thee.  The clams are roasted on the grill, has a smoky flavor and the juice just pours out of them.  No need to dip in butter but they give you the option of the warm butter to make it even more pleasurable.  They have a full bar with tv's to watch your local game or sporting event.  The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.  A burger and roasted clams will cost you under 20.00 and the burger is shareable.  Oh please if your craving a burger, beer and clams...make a stop at Harpoon Willy's.  It's that good!!!
