Review from Chuck F.

On behalf of the ALL the deaf tone and musically challenged gamer geeks, you've given us another reason to drink (makes you sing louder, not better) & be merry.
To the developers and those responsible for this phenomenon, I salute you.
Product observations
Ease of use: Easy to Expert. Somewhat lifelike controllers. That's unless you play "real" instruments...
Interactivity: A great way to bring together friends and family for an evening of fun. Nice wholesome (streaming live via internet) entertainment.
My weapon of choice: I'm a Bass man... "Slapping the bass, mang!" ~ movie quote from, I Love You Man (2009)
My songs/ vocal: "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars & "Enter the Sandman" by Metallica
Now, let me take this moment to get my lips off your a$$ and spin this in another direction =)
The primary reason I chose to review your product was my inability to participate/ attend at a local (San Diego) YELP ELITE "themed" event.
Battle of the Band T's Elite Party at Taste & Thirst On Fourth.

Sadly, I'm using this opportunity to seek solace in commending you on a fantastic product. At no fault but my own, RSVP only, I was unable to ROCK OUT with my fellow Yelp Elites. So what did I do to take my mind off but with a little ROCKBAND 2 on the 360, of course...
Lastly, karaoke bars (future Yelp Elite functions) are not the same because of your product. Thank you, Harmonix! -

Ok, it warrants mention you can't actually -go- to Harmonix, as they are a game design company. They might not appreciate your showing up randomly to say "hi! gimme games!"
But OH Harmonix, now I can poorly sing your praises in my not quite tone deaf but have no awesome control over my vocal range way.
Thanks to you we've managed to piss off all of our neighbors while banging on plastic drums and guitars, rocking out our cover band dreams of tearing through our wonderfully terrible renditions of Epic, Maps, and Cherub Rock among many, many other cover songs.
Seriously, I love music, hated practicing every instrument I ever bought so I'm a jack of a few trades, mediocre at most when it comes to musical skill.
But games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band have let me have a near transcendent and cathartic experience of making a pleasing sounding racket with my friends, letting our inner rock stars out. It only gets better when everyone else has been drinking...which obviously makes it just that much more rock and roll.
However, you also inspired my husband to buy a guitar, and now that we've purchased Rock Band, I'm starting to get nervous he's going to follow that purchase up with a drum kit. If that's the case, I'm sending you any legal fees we might end up incurring if we get sued by our already angry neighbors. -

Awww beaten to the punch by Bridget M. But rock on sista friend. Rock on...
Harmonix are the developers of all the games that I truly, madly, deeply *heart*. From Karaoke Revolution, to Guitar Hero to finally Rockband (which incidentally enough I played 5 hours worth the other day). They have innovative games with awesome song selection and make a motley group of young adults into this crazy edgy rockband.
Thanks Harmonix for letting my dreams come true of being a singing diva, bass player and drummer. -

Great Staff, I know some of them. These guys are making Boston the gaming capitol of the east coast. Hats off to them and their amazing games!
