Ok, when it comes to bikes, Harleys are not my favourites by any means. In fact, if an Ecosse is a kobe steak, then Harleys would be a diner burger. That's not necessarily a knock since sometimes, you just want the singular yumminess of a greasy-ass diner burger.
Even if I do like the motorcycles, this store is like a zit on an otherwise beautiful face (or a beauty mark on an otherwise ugly face depending on how you view the hood). It's completely out of place in the snooty-hootiness of this part of Lex, and there's something just wrong with having a Harley shop in Midtown East anyway. Add to that the kitschy feeling of this shop, and it makes me wonder how many Hells Angels out there are crying a little inside just for this shop's existence.
The service is pretty decent. They're more yuppy than I'd like someone to be when we're talking Harleys, but very knowledgeable about their bikes. I can do without the gear, but I suppose it's to be expected when brand equity overrides passion.

My daddy told me to never get on the back of a motorcycle. That might be why I would have felt naughty if I even entered this store. But I did stare through the window for quite some time. The four stars are for the people in this world who have hobbies and passions. The one missing star is for the people in this world who make a lot of noise.
