A tad expensive but some of the nicest arrangements I've ever seen. Very helpful and friendly staff, and a beautiful shop!

I went into Harlem Flo today and it smelled so good! They have gorgeous orchids and lush house plants. They sell scented candles in floral scents and beautiful arrays of fresh cut flowers are in the back. They also landscape terraces and patios and provide arrangements for special events and weddings.
I was informed by the friendly shopkeeper that they change their decor every two weeks so I'll be back the beginning of April to see what spring things Harlem Flo has to offer! -

Louis, one of the owners, is awesome! I got some flowers from Harlem Flo and was amazed at how long they lasted. This is one of the best florists in New York that I have come across. They are very reliable and the quality of their flowers is outstanding.

Every once in a while my boyfriend comes home with a bouquet from Harlem Flo and it makes my day. The arrangements are gorgeous, artful and often seasonally focused.
Their prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for. It would be nice if they offered more everyday grab and go items - a small $15 bunch of flowers to freshen up your house for example. It's wonderful to splurge on their professional arrangements but most people can't manage that every week. I'd love to be able to stop in every week and pick up a little something.
That said, they just opened a life style store 1 or 2 blocks south of this shop. Their creative energy has been wonderful for the neighborhood and I hope inspiring for other entrepreneurs. -

I bought a bouquet of flowers harlemflo. I told the sales lady my budget was $25.00. She put together a bouquet and asked one of the helpers to wrap it. When she went to ring me up she said it's 27$ and some change.I said great! Then one of the owners under his breadth asks her to repeat the total. While I waited (for several minutes) he makes the person wrapping the flowers stop, then makes the lady count the flowers and after much back and forth tells me that the total is now $31 something. Then they said either I pay more or they will take out A flower. I was a bit surprised by the question because I gave them the budget and she put the flowers together based on that. Although the error was theirs they insisted making a show of removing one flower in front of me. I have purchased flowers from harlemflo several times over the past two years but unfortunately after the incident this afternoon I will be taking my business elsewhere in the neighborhood even if it means walking a few extra blocks. There are a couple of great florists on Lennox and broadway.

Great place. Owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Several plants sized and priced suitable for gifts. He has fresh cut flowers as well, the are off to the side. Hopefully soon they will start creating small bouquets for husbands to bring home to their wife's ( hint, hint)
