Ok so most of my life I have always avoided Hard Rock Cafes for their food since I always figured they were just a big tourist trap with overpriced food and junk memorabilia.

Well on my recent trip to Destin I stopped off in Biloxi and decided to give their casino a try.  And I must say it is one of my favorite casinos.

This is a new casino and everything was nice.  Our group got a room and I was able to check it out.  They were very clean and modern.

There were lots of memorabilia on the walls but it was actually displayed in a nice manner.  This place also has high ceilings and entertaining dealers.  They were talkative but not too much to the point where they are annoying.

They are willing to give you a players card at the table so that makes it quicker and faster.  They have already sent me coupons and discounts in the mail.

Their buffet is super nice.  It offers food from all different parts of the world but by far the best snow crab legs ever.  I've had snow crab legs at many places but no where else was it flavored as well.  It has a really nice spicy kick to them.

We went on a Sunday for their buffet.   It was 17 bucks for the dinner buffet but then we got another 5 bucks off with a players card.  So the best buffet for 12 dollars!!!

Lastly they offer free fountain drinks on both sides of the casino so you don't have to walk very far if you want a non-alcoholic drink but don't want to burden the cocktail waitress.

I have to agree with Denis C. I am a old Vegas veteran and while the Coast is more on par with Atalantic city, The Hard Rock is where I go to play!!!

It has the usaual casino smoke and the sounds of slot machines, but this is where the younger crowd goes to have fun.  I enjoy their small but well positioned poker room.

I also enjoy that it is right across from Ruth Chris Steakhouse where I like to go after I clean up at the tables.  While RCS is a tad dark and a bit tight, its a great place to go and have a quiet dinner.

Both HR and RCS staff are accommodating and attentive...

All I did was walk through the Hard Rock to get to Rise on Saturday.  I wasnt expecting it to be as nice as it was.  It's not quite as nice as the Vegas Hard Rock but it's nice enough for this area.  There's so much to look at that we almost didnt make it into the club line.  It's a little smaller than I expected but I'm not sure if I even saw the whole thing.  The club was real hype too.  On the balcony of Rise, you get to see a nighttime view of the coast in one direction and the other side is the Beau.  After finally getting to see this Hard Rock, it will be one of the first things I do when I go back to Biloxi.  I'm curios to see what the hotel and the restaurants are like.

The Hard Rock never disappoints regardless of what coast it's on.

I'm used to going to Vegas, and this being my first trip to Biloxi, I wanted to keep in mind that this was going to feel different. Sure it's still a casino filled with smoke and the sounds of slot machines, but there were a lot of differences with this location versus the Vegas one. For one, the garage is not far from the check-in desk.

There were lots of kids on the casino floor, even in the wee hours of the night. The Hard Rock security staff made sure that they stayed close to their parents. There was no debauchery going on and most of the patrons were there to gamble and relax.

In the way of restaurants there's the Hard Rock Cafe (of course), Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and the the diner-syled 24/7 Grill. We decided to check out the surrounding cities and ventured to Ocean Spings for dinner.

The pool area is nice and bar staff is always available to take orders. After ordering a few drinks I thought that I had run up a big tab. I actually got off easy. We also took advantage of their on-site spa services which we were glad that we did. There is a coed spa area if you want to relax before and/or after your treatments.

The beds were extremely comfortable. It was hard to get out of bed once I woke up. The hallways on each floor are kept to very cold meat locker temperature. The showers feature three shower heads which is good because the water here is very soft.

Overall, I got the feeling that the people that work here really like their job and wanted to make our stay comfortable. This Hard Rock Casino is a good choice if you want an all-in-one location (versus casino hopping in Vegas), and a family friendly option. I'm still loyal to Vegas--I still need a little sinfulness in my life. It was nice to leave here with a little more money in my pocket!

The Hard Rock is one of many MS Gulf Coast casinos that have recently reopened after the destruction of hurricane Katrina. It was evident to me that the people working here like to show their Southern hospitality and are proud to have made it back after all that they've gone through.

I'm sure I've mentioned this before... Manfriend and I spent a good deal of time in the South. Like, over a year. See, he was working for Chevron in Mississippi, and the money was just too damn good not to take the opportunity and hit the road for a bit. For me, it was like a year long vacay. Not too bad, eh?

He worked about 90 hours a week, but when we did have a free moment together, we liked to get out and about. Considering the amount he worked, most of these moments out and about were spent somewhere that served adult beverages ;)

We stayed in a crazy cool condo right on the beach of the Gulf Coast, and right down the way was the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. For being in Mississippi, this place was pretty hip. They have a club called Rise thats on I think the 14th? floor, and a few good restaurants... oh, and a buffet that will make your eyes pop out of your head. Jesus mary and joseph... so much food. But seriously, we had some great times here. It was kind of the "go-to" place when we wanted to have a fun night out! ***Another bonus, they have almost a rock museum of sorts in the hallways of the entrance to the casino and hotel lobby. Noice.

For whatever reason, any time we went here, we ended up meeting people that were just so weird and cool at the same time. Or maybe that was just anywhere we went period. AND, everywhere we went, people automatically KNEW we weren't from there... odd. lol

Much to my suprise, I find myself missing this area of the country all the time.

We spent the weekend in Biloxi. We did not stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, but stopped in to check it out and grab dinner at the restaurant. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable. The food and cocktails were great, so good in fact I did not feel bad for the overpriced menu that comes with all Hard Rock locations.

The casino is really cool looking, with lots of huge themed slot and video poker style machines. Something that I have never seen in a casino before was several Coke fountain drink stations with cups for anybody. I thought this was a great idea since not everyone drinks alcohol and this helps avoid having to wait on the staff to bring you a drink.

This place has just about everything you could need including Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, Ruth Chris, an awesome looking pool, beach area that is accessible by land or sea, and that was all just on the main floor!

Still no reply from Hard Rock after Corporate promised a reply within 24 hours. Even they agreed that since I took time to write the Biloxi Casino I shoulda received some sort of reply.  Not looking for a comp or anything just some sort of acknowledgement from Food and Beverage about my experience there.  Note: I personally received quite a few messages from fellow Yelpers describing their bad experiences at the Hard Rock!

This is the only casino to go to if you have the unfortunate luck of being in Biloxi. Tunica is just a half hour away from me and I have to say: I really liked the Hard Rock here better than any casino in Tunica I've been to. It may not be as big, but it was way cooler. The memorabilia is interesting, the music was good, and the vibe was cool. - Not to mention that my boyfriend hit the $1000 jackpot on the "Wheel of Fortune" slot PLUS another $200...that kind of sweetened the pot, I suppose. I'll never go back to Biloxi (God willing), but if you're there, go to the Hard Rock.

Cool place, and I wish we had stayed here rather than the Beau Rivage. The place is modern, and with all the music bling that you might see at a Hard Rock restaurant. The casino is not nearly as crowded as the Beau Rivage, which is what kept us here. It is also within walking distance of the Beau. The casino staff were cool as hell. They joked around a lot, and you could tell these guys liked their jobs. They also have a self-serve Coke fountain right in the middle of the casino! Yeah, I took advantage of this a lot. Also check out the bathrooms in the back of the casino. It is hilarious to watch the confused looks on people's faces.

They don't seem to have a lot in the way of restaurants. The buffet is decent (and already reviewed on yelp). They also have a Ruth's Chris steakhouse right outside the casino. Neat. There is an ice cream joint and Starbucks too.

We didn't stay in the hotel but will certainly consider it on our next trip down.

In my opinion, it's the most fun of all of the casinos on the coast.  I love the atmosphere, buffet, dance club on the 14th floor, and the bathrooms. The common area for male and female bathrooms is unisex.  So, toilets are separate, but sinks and mirrors are all together.  It's kind of an interesting twist that freaks you out the first time.

Okay, I'm not going to write a review for the casino, but for Ruth's Chris.  My husband and I went there for our anniversary and we were treated very well.  We were sat at a booth near the door and as they were setting up for a 8 lady bachelorette party I knew that wasn't where I wanted to spend dinner.  Our server assistant came over and I asked if we could be moved somewhere a bit more private and not only was it not a problem, but I never felt as if we "put them out".  We were sat in a more private room, far from the door (and the smoke).  It only got better.  Our new server assistant went out of her way to make the night a success!  We had cocktails, wine (the Hogue "Genesis" is awesome), and a full meal. My steak came out a bit on the undercooked side, and it was switched out immediately.  We received a complimentary dessert of our choice at the end, which was a complete surprise as that hardly ever happens even for  birthday at this day in age...

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our server kept forgetting about us... and kept telling us that! As a server for 13 years and counting, it is a definite pet peeve of mine.  But our server assistant was ALWAYS there!!
We ordered: Ribeye, Filet, creamed spinach (yum), au gratin potatoes (double yum) and caesar salads... dessert was the chocolate explosion, delicious!!

What a hip, rocking place this is.  Ultra modern in style and decor, this hotel and casino knows how to give a rock and rolling great time.  This facility is adorned with rock and roll memorabilia from all of the greatest artists where ever you decide to glance.  All of their rooms offer Aveda products and flat screen LCD televisions.  This was the first stop of my whirlwind tour of the Gulf Coast and New Orleans for my Birthday.  With great food and that gracious down home southern hospitality, you can not go wrong spending some time here.  I am sure we will be back!!  4.5 stars :-)!!
