I went here yesterday with my cousins and I loved it.
Cornbread hot out the oven with butter YUMMY!
I ordered the ribs with corn and black eyed peas and rice and it was really good. The corn was very sweet and the ribs were dripping in sauce which I love LOL!
My cousins ordered the chicken & waffles and smothered pork chops with mac n' cheese and cabbage. For all you FIlipino people out there reading this the cabbage tasted like the cabbage they put in Nilaga so I liked it. Would probably get that the next time. The mac n' cheese was good, had a peppery taste to it at the end of each bite but I thinks its from the type of cheese they use.
Overall, Great food and service.
Parking sucks in that area so minus 1 star.
Apparently, the fried chicken is the appeal here. I didn't think to try it because I was in desperate need to have a burger-also I don't like fried chicken. How I ended up here, I don't know. But I'm glad I did.
The lemonade was refreshing as can be-but at $2.50 for about 16 ounces-I'd need to be really parched to try it again. The burger was great, but what really got me were the collard greens. It's been weeks, and I still think about them fondly.
Um, one lunch here can feed you for 2 days probably.
Chicken fried steak, and you get to pick 2 sides. I chose the rice and gravy and the mac and cheese.
Yum.
I could not move after eating half my order.
The other half I had to bring home.
Though I know it's not hard to make rice and gravy and mac and cheese (really cheesy and bright yellow, btw), to put it all together with chicken fried steak, and when I don't have to make it!?
That is good enough for me to come back, again and again.
Yummmmy as always if you're feeling for some heavy soul food. Cool beer selection and cheap! Cool place to watch the game.
- Oxtail: soft, yummy, savory
- Mac & Cheese: helllllla good, I can eat this all day long, but too bad I might get a heart attack from doing that
- Collard Greens: veggies are good for you
- Bbq Ribs: good as always
- Corn: okay, sweet
- Potato salad: not a fan

Good soul food for good prices.
I forgot how good this place is. Gotta give a shout out to my friend… Read more »
For the first time ever, you failed me, fellow Yelpers.
Although I greatly anticipated tucking into a country-fried steak, a modest-piece of breaded meat was slathered with a salty, inedible canned goo that resembled nothing like the white gravy that makes - or in this case breaks - a proper country-fried steak.
The accompanying cornbread muffin was delivered deliciously warm but tasted like they were made from cheap Jiffy mix.
Yuck.
My friend and I stopped by the original Hard Knox for food before the game on Thursday.
I ordered the spare ribs with corn and fries, my friend got the snapper.
FYI, entree comes with 2 sides and cornbread.
What I liked:
-ribs were very good; meat was not too mushy, yet easily fell off da bone; nice-sized portions, but not too overwhelming(ala Fred Flintstone)
-cornbread muffins: excellent and highly addictive!!!
-usually eat corn on da cob, but loved their bowl-portion; added sugar for that sweet kick.
-never get tired of the sweet iced tea in mason jars!!!
-great diner crowd and it was cool they had Sportcenter on the tube!
-great staff, food was served promptly! they do takeout, sweet!!!
Why no fifth star:
-I'm giving it 4.5 stars; the only issue is parking might be tight on weekends or before games. We were lucky enuff to snag street pkg.
-not a sit-down restaurant for ambiance. If you want a more restaurant feel, check out farmer brown.
-given their popularity, wait for a table might be long, instead, we sat at the bar.
Overall, I was definitely satisfied with my meal here. More of a diner spot, but would go back especially b4 Giants games, as they're abt a mile from AT&T park. Great menu at Hard Knox and I'll head back to the original the next time I'm at the DogPatch!
Tried this out yesterday, seeking good country fried steak (CFS). Really yummy food, comfy atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but that's OK for comfort food. ;)
The CFS was deep fried and crunchy--pretty good. The gravy could have been more savory. The rice and gravy side didn't please me; the rice grains were larger than usual and sorta dry. Next time I'd try the mashed potatoes and gravy. I highly recommend the side of cabbage, however. Super-tasty.
Hubby had the fried chicken and waffles. He was happy happy. I sampled the fried chicken, and that was seriously da bomb; crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside.
*Everyone* was having the mac and cheese, and the smothered pork chops looked scrumptious as well. We were a bit envious but too stuffed after our diggings, so we will definitely try those next time we're there, and there WILL BE a next time...
REALLLLLY yummy (and very heavy) food!!! The smells and tastes just warmed my heart and made me very happy. This was my first time eating here, but my girlfriend was nice enough to warn me wear stretchy pants...thank goodness tights are in!
Everything on the menu sounded good so our waiter gave me a few suggestions. I ended up ordering the short ribs, with mac n cheese and french fries. The short ribs were so delish...completely fall off the bone!!! A would pile my fork with some meat, mac, and a fry and it was to die for. My friends had the chicken steak and fried chicken...both really good. Plus - a large selection of beer, which i love.
Also, the plate was large enough that I brought home 2/3 of it and it ended up also being my BF's dinner. I can't wait to bring him here.
I went here for lunch today and ordered their
3 Piece Chicken w/ 2 sides for lunch.
YUMMY! Tasty! I don't know what the secret receipe is, but all I gotta say is, it hit the spot!
My 2 sides were Cabbage and Yam. Highly recommend it! oh, I always get the lemonade.. and the CORNBREAD is an A ++!!
Parking sucks during lunch, but hay, you gotta do what you gotta do.
XOXO!

Great FOOD!!
Awesome Service!
This place seriously, Rocks!!
Always 5 Stars!
Finally, after years of hearing about this place I finally had a chance to eat here after picking up my friend from SF airport. It was as good as I expected it to be from what all my friends have been saying about it. I ordered the 3 piece meal, perfectly fried chicken, very crispy and not too greasy. collard greens and mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect sides.
My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffles were surprisingly really good. Service was very nice and didn't wait as long as I thought we would with it being the lunch rush.
I'm looking forward to trying the catfish next time I'm there, just a matter of when that will be.
Went here a couple weeks back for lunch with my buddies. The place was pretty crowded, but we got seated right away.
Awesome food in big portions. You pick your entree and two sides to go with it. Food wasn't too too rich, so it was easy to eat the whole plate.
Ohhhhhhhhh... the corn bread muffins that come with the meal are also awesome. Ate one and took one home for my GF.
Will definitely come back...
For those that don't live in this neighborhood, Hard Knox Cafe is TOTALLY worth the trip!!!
The place is authentic soul food and packs in a very eclectic crowd. Our party of three ordered fried chicken (divine), fried catfish (yum!) and pork sandwich (pretty tasty). As for sides, we went with mac-n-cheese (so awesome), collard greens (seasoned perfectly) and fries (can't diss fries). Plus, the drinks options are fantastic!
Go to Hard Knox Cafe!!! You won't be disappointed!
After hearing all this buzz about Hard Knox Cafe, my friend & I decided to see if it would live up to its expectations. Sadly, it did not.
Cornbread Muffins - super fresh and hot out of the oven, tasted nothing like cornbread (which is good because I dont like cornbread)
Fried Chicken - fried to perfection (not too greasy) but lacked flavor (definitely had to add lots and lots of hot sauce to it)
Mac & Cheese - superrrr cheeesy, felt like I was biting into sticks of cheese
Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy - typical, decent
Collard Greens - maybe cuz I've never had collard greens, but it just looks like overcooked veggies...
Fries - a bit on the greasier end, but decent
Pros:
-Easy Parking
-Great Service (waiters & waitresses were really attentive - since the restaurant is really small)
-Big Flat Screen TV to watch the 49ers game (too bad they lost today)...
Now that I've tried it, I've got to say that the chicken can easily be replaced with Church's. The only distinct food I've gotta say is the cornbread muffins. I would go back just to get those!
The fried chicken ... Have had better at KFC. The fries ... which i ordered doubled portion only came out to be single. But then my friend brought it to the waiters attention and had him trying very hard to please her for the rest of the evening. The fries were okay but they didnt taste as good because my friend made me feel like her girlfriend ...
Next time I want southern food, I am going to KFC
First off, the corn bread muffins here are unbelievably good. Those alone may just be worth the trip out here.
Located rather stochastically in the heart of the Dogpatch, it's hard to imagine finding such a delicious dining establishment when you drive through the area. But once you've had the soul-warming deliciousness that is Hard Knox, the location with it's blend of rough-around-the-edges grittiness, just seems to fit.
You come here for the fried chicken. At least that's what everyone has said. 3 pieces of fried chicken with your choice of 2 sides for about $10. I got mine with mashed potatoes and gravy, and mac & cheese. And those unforgettable corn bread muffins come included. That makes for quite the hearty meal. Tip: don't eat here if you need to go back to the office after lunch and expect to be productive. Food coma~~
The fried chicken was as good as I had heard. They came out piping hot (I burned my tounge cause I was too hungry to patiently wait for the chicken to cool down) and it was crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. Nothing was overcooked. The mashed potatoes were solid. The mac & cheese was alright. The yams a friend got looked pretty good so I may have to get those next time.
If you're craving fried chicken in the city, this is the place to go.
Southern comfort food at a great price - most items under $10 (oxtail $15, ribs/fish are $13). Menu includes sandwiches (burgers, po boys, etc.), entrees (fried chicken, ribs, catfish, pork chop, meatloaf, etc.), plus a few salads. The complimentary corn muffins are very popular.
LOVE the Arnold Palmer served in a mason jar.
About the sides: yams, mash potatoes & gravy, are good.
Mac n cheese is okay (Outerlands is better).
Red beans & rice was also okay (Popeye's is better, no joke).
I've also tried their brunch menu which is good too (Brenda's is better). The space is smaller than the location on Clement street, so it fills up quickly. It's very cool that u can place online orders for pickup.
************************************
Newsflash - just announced, many NEW menu items to be added soon: sweet tea, shrimp & grits, BBQ Chicken...
Our new neighborhood fav! Cajun catfish unbelievably moist and delish, cabbage and potato salad (chopped eggs make this really special!) were scrumptious, as were the collard greens (not usually a fav of mine) and the mashed pots.
We'll possibly be back weekly it was that good! And the prices make going weekly very affordable.
My favorite soul food restaurant!
Why I give 5 stars:
1. Food is excellent - I love their fried chicken the best, second best is the ox-tail, it's soo tender, falls off the bone.
2. Lot's of street parking
3. Inexpensive
4. Proportion of food, they give you a lot for your sides
5. The place is clean and has a nice flat screen TV for the boys to watch their sport
Hard Knox Cafe...yes, the southern-inspired, Vietnamese-owned soul food joint with possibly, the best fried chicken, collard greens, and yams combo that I have ever had. A bite into their corn bread here reveals all the colors of the South..shut up, you know what I mean!
I give this place an extra star and give them 5.. if their ribs were smoked. It's hard to find good BBQ in the City. You have Nates and Brother-in-laws, but if Hard Knox can do it up like that, like that with the ribs, i'll be a lifetime member.
TIP: Bring an appetite and buy a Hard Knox t-shirt
The service was great and I really wanted to like this place, but the fried chicken was simply too generic. It's not spicy, or garlicky -- it doesn't really have any extra flavor to it. The mashed potatoes and gravy were just okay too.
However, the portions are big, the muffins served before the meal were really good, and the mac and cheese is amongst the best I've had in SF.
I am addicted to the meatloaf and collard greens at Hard Knox, and I love the friendly staff who seem to know everyone's name. They offer great value, hearty portions, and most importantly, delicious food. Even on the coldest weekend nights, there are people waiting outside to get a table - they're that good!
Living in the "city of a million restaurants", one of my greatest joys is finding an out-of-the-way spot that totally delivered more than I expected, and sharing it with my friends.
Since their feature on PBS' "Check, please, Bay Area" a while back, The Hard Knox Cafe is not so quite hidden, but is still a gem in an outlying neighborhood that you can wow your friends with.
First of all you must know their greens are the best I've ever had, and I likes my greens. The owner swore to me that no ham hocks were used in the preparation, yet they they are infused with a deep rich taste. The texture is perfect. Not the mushy, stewed-all-day usual. These greens are truly tender, while managing to retain a little bite. Excellent.
Believe it or not, they also serve great burgers and cheese steak sandwiches. Their fries are great, if the kitchen is not rushed, when they might deliver them soggy. If they are busy, ask for the fries extra crispy.
The OX TAILS are the best thing they serve. If you have never tried them, do. If you already understand the divine succulence of this dish, you will be surprised. Super yummilicious!
If you, like me, cried when Powell's closed, and crave perfect fried chicken, rejoice. You will find it well seasoned and perfectly cooked, with a crust I often eat entirely before attacking the meat.
It's not all heaven (only mostly). I wish their mac and cheese had more cheese and less flour, but their recipe is true to most southern joints. Just not my preference. Also, the pork chops have drifted from fat and juicy to thin and dry in the last few years, a real disappointment to a pig-lover. I'm also always disappointed I can't have dessert there. Yes, I always walk out with a doggie bag (most do), but a simple banana pudding or peach cobbler would be a great asset.
If you are a San Franciscan searching for a new, out of the way place to eat, check this place out. It feels good to be there, and the food will take you home.
The blackened catfish was perfectly seasoned and prepared. And free cornbread muffins. There's really not much more I can add; well, 'cept that I *love* the low-key, casual ambiance, teeming with obvious regulars and locals. Oh, and i like drinking out of mason jars with handles.
I just died and went to heaven. The cornbread is fantastic. The fried chicken is amazing. The fries are tasty. I slept for two hours after eating here.
Side notes: I probably won't get the mac n cheese side again. I'm picky with restaurant mac n cheese though. I look forward to trying the potato salad next time. Also, the 3-piece fried chicken was way too much for one person to eat. I couldn't finish and I still slept for 2 hours after lunch here. I was in food bliss afterward is what I'm trying to say :)
Here's another high praise for Hard Knox, both the one on 3rd street in the Dog Patch area and the one on Clement in the Richmond district. The quantity and quality are pretty good, especially the prices. I tried the fried chicken, pork chops, Cajun meatloaf, chicken fried steak, BBQ ribs, and ox tail plates. Each gave me a grin of satisfaction and full belly. I also tried the side dishes of macaronni and cheese, yam, potato salad, and boiled cabbage. They too were yummy and plentiful, but do not dine here if you have health issues surrounding cholesterol intake.
There are tons of positive reviews, so you have No excuse to not give this place a try if you like real comfort food, especially great when raining outside. Only thing missing after a hearty meal is a fireplace and nice lounge chair.
Even the collard greens are good! This place always surprises me. The wait staff are always excellent, the food prompt, and very tasty. Sometimes you have to wait for a table, though. Wish they were open later on the weekends.
Is the spicy chicken sandwich deep fried? No? I'll have the deep fried chicken sandwich then. Lol! Big girl...
The deep fried chicken sandwich wasn't bad. It was good I guess.
The greens side was cooked well but over salted.
The corn muffins were missing something. It just wasn't perfect and I was really hoping for it to be perfect. I love corn muffins.
Price: Amazing.
Drinks: Beer & Wine, but a decent selection of each.
Food: Obvi, the fried chicken is awesome. But don't miss the mac'n'cheese side (I ate every bite of mine and could have eaten more if I weren't so absurdly stuffed) and of course corn bread!
Service: Quick service, kind staff, very simple.
I'm not a big fan of the smokey Texas style BBQ, so I'm very happy with Hard Knox's delicious maple-y ribs. And their fried chicken is very juicy and flavorful. Their service? Excellent! When we were there last week, we asked for a bag of ice for my friend's little injury and our server came right back with a bag of ice. Very helpful. But why am I only giving 4 stars? That's because their sides aren't living up to their BBQ and the fried chicken! Collard greens taste a little too "healthy" and the mac n cheese has a strange rubbery texture. BUT their corn bread muffins are lip smacking good. Now...only if they served hush puppies...
Wow I can't believe I worked right by this place and never went before today! I always assumed it was take out and I don't do take out. Little did I know there was a bar with beer on tap! Now soul food can be really unhealthy for you. That's what makes it taste so good! I was totally prepared to get fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and fries! But then I saw the blackened catfish and collard greens and red beans and rice. Much healthier and so tasty! I burped up blackening spices all afternoon and it was great!
Okay, let me just begin with: I'm the ultimate pencil. Just because I have yellow skin doesn't mean that my blood isn't black. There's nothing more enjoyable in my belly than a big plate of mac & cheese, some cornbread, fried chicken with gravy, sweet potatoes, collard greens, and waffles. I think it's an understatement to say that I love my f-ing soul food. You chickenhawks.
Now as my very first soul food experience since living in SF, Hard Knox Cafe had a crapload to live up to. I mean, I grew up on Roscoe's Chicken N' Waffles (the ORIGINAL one with Big Momma) which was, before they sold out and became commercial hogs, the hands-down best soul food you can find on the West Coast. Hard Knox Cafe, plainly, was not very good.
I mean, did it satisfy my soul food craving? Hell yeah it did. But was it up to par with what I think real soul food should taste like? Not really.
Now, don't get me wrong: Hard Knox Cafe has some AMAZINGLY-LOW prices. I paid about $11 and I was insanely full. But I would gladly pay more money for better quality food. Lemme be more specific.
The fried chicken was NOT well fried. Now I dunno if maybe I just got a fluke batch, but the chicken was way too fried (like it was breaded with rocks) and the meat was way too dry. Now the chicken drumstick was nice & moist, but the thigh and breast was dry as hell.
The gravy was HORRIBLE-- bland & tasteless. They may as well have given me warm water to dip my chicken into. And, by the way, I believe a soul food restaurant must be measured based on how good their gravy is. It's like the standard. And I was very disappointed with Hard Knox's gravy.
Mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese were decent, but I mean I can't really be swayed by a couple of sides that are on the same level as KFC. Ok fine, maybe a bit better than KFC's.
I did like Hard Knox's cornbread muffins though. They came out piping hot and so the butter melted upon contact. Props on the cornbread.
Other than the cornbread though, I honestly thought Hard Knox was a subpar soul food restaurant. It's so bad that the entire time I was eating it, I was just reminiscing about the good ol' days when I would eat fried chicken gizzards in the best-tasting gravy, with a side of collard greens and waffles at Roscoe's. Hard Knox serves glorified prison food.
Went here for the first time today during lunch, and it was goooood.
I don't usually like cornbread, but the ones here were hella good. I got the 3 piece chicken entree and it comes with cornbread and your choice of 2 sides. You get all of this for only 10 bucks.
Parking is a pain in butt, but it's not impossible to find.
Not bad. Hubby and I were craving fried chicken near SOMA and after reading the yelp reviews decided to check it out.
Corn Bread: decent. Definitely had better but at least it wasn't dry. I like how it comes out warm and you get two of them!
Fried Chicken: decent. Served very VERY hot so be careful or you might burn your fingers. The chicken was pretty juicy and skin was crunchy. Flavor was good. Not too salty. Exactly what I expected fried chicken to taste like.
Mac-n-cheese: decent. Thick, creamy and the elbow macaroni was just right. Not too over cooked or mushy.
BBQ ribs: good. Smothered with sauce - just the way I like. Meat fell off the bone easily. You get three giant ribs so it's a lot of food.
Overall this place is decent. Not a place I would regularly patronize but if I want fried chicken and I don't want to drive far i know where to go!
Ok so I just came from here on my lunch break and WoW! The fried chicken is just that...WoW! And the cornbread, man..that gets its own damn review too.
Anyways, when you get there I suggest getting the 3 piece fried chicken. It comes with 2 cornbreads (yum), and 2 sides all just for $10.00!! Yes only, $10.00. Oh, and fair warning to the people who come here during lunch time...be aware of massive food coma!!
Anywho, the food was delicious to say the least. The yams were delightful and the chicken..the fried chicken..you must try...
Also, I got the Arnold Palmer which was a hybrid sort of drink, half lemonade, half ice tea served in a jar with a handle, which i thought was cool and refreshing.
If you are ever in the area, try this place. it's worth the trip!
The theory of brunch-mosis states that if there's an hour-long wait at JFY, then Hard Knox, which is just around the corner, should at the very least have no free tables. And yet, we were able to waltz in here and sit right down at 11:45 on Sunday (though by the time we left, there was a wait). While they technically have a special brunch menu, soul food is brunch-worthy to begin with, so I recommend ordering a regular dish and asking for 2 fried eggs on top.
Foodwise, the most salient point about Hard Knox is that this is *not* hipster soul food a la Front Porch (hard to believe for a highly-Yelped corrugated-metal shack in one of our country's "top 10 hottest new neighborhoods", I know). It's very traditional and decidedly free of twists, and some dishes (like the yams and mac & cheese) I found a little too prosaic. On the plus side, you'll get a damn good portion-to-price ratio, and they still make their share of mouth-watering gems (spicy black-eyed peas, melt-in-your-mouth pork chops smothered in gravy, and of course, the corn muffins).
Was craving for some soul food after happy hour and this was the perfect place. We got here around 930 but they were nice enough to let us in even though they close at 9.( calling the owner ahead of time helped too) This is not on the menu but we ordered family style (buca di beppo Italian style) There were seven of us and we had.
Fried Chicken
Ox tail
stewed cabbage
mac and cheese
ribs
corn bread muffin
Something about this place is just very comforting. The overall vibe is definitely working here. Hell.........even the neighborhood fits the southern comfort theme of this restaurant. No knock on the other Hard Knox in the Richmond district but this place is the best soul food restaurant in the city base on location, food, service, theme, music, decor, and vibe. This is the full package..................who said Asian people don't have soul?!?!?
Hahhahha........I still find it hilarious. An Asian couple owning a soul food restaurant on 3rd st. It's sorta like the movie Rush Hour when Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker goes to a Chinese Soul food restaurant in Creehshaw. Chris Tucker goes to Don Cheadle. "You embarrassing yourself..........you are a black man.......... with a Chinese restaurant ............on Creenshaw!!!"
Love the Hard Knox!!!
20 min wait @ 4pm for the bar. Waiters are all guys, and they were polite and always had a smile for customers. Great vibe. Starting to realize smiles do go a long way at restaurants.
Mac n Cheese - creamy creamy creamy.
Collard greens - could taste the actual greens, not boiled to the point of tasteless, a bit salty.
Oxtail - ginormous, fall of the bone fantastic!! coming back here again and again for this dish, after i try the smothered porkchops.
Fried Chicken - best fried chicken i have had so far, but I have been good fried chicken deprived for a while. Seasoned from the skin all the way to the bone.
Corn bread - sweet, and a perfect compliment to the soft, salty butter. Now I know why they give two, to sop up all the ox tail and collard green juice!
My friend who is bigger than I am didn't finish, but my plate was practically licked clean. 20 mins later I was in a food coma. And to think I told the owner I was thinking of getting porkchops too!
My first experience w/ soul food! i lavvvv it
After a hard workout at 24 hr fitness...some friends and I decided to come here. Why? I don't know. I've just always wanted to try this place and never had the opportunity to and to decide that right after the gym....ehh oh well. It was so worth it!
I had the fried chicken w/ mac & cheese and collard greens...The mac & cheese was delishhhhh - i was in my i don't give a damn mode that i just worked out. I WANNA EAT. The collard greens were okay...a bit salty but i ate it anyway. heheh
I wanna come back for ox tails & some damn catfish & some porkchops & some damn ribs & try the yams...everything damnit. everything.
can't wait for another visit :) i'll try not to go right after the gym this time.
I had a sudden realization yesterday about how these two places are different: they don't have descriptions of anything on their menu.
Since I normally already know what I want, I had no problem figuring out what each of the items were. However, it was my friend's first foray into the world of Hard Knox, and he had no idea what it meant for something to be "smothered." So, the Richmond location provides descriptions of each of their dishes while the one in the Dogpatch doesn't.
As always, the food is delicious, but since it was crowded, we had to sit up top at the bar area, which was fine. Just not the same sort of "I'm here to eat a hearty dinner and have a pleasant conversation while I wait for my food, which usually comes pretty quickly" type of feel.

Sweet Buddha. Who the hell knew the Vietnamese could do soul food so well! Don't let the fact that the place is run and owned by Asians fool you. The owners godmother was African American and schooled the hell out of him on comfort food.
Their CORNBREAD MUFFINS or as I would like to call them PROOF THERE IS A GOD are amazing. I typically do not like cornbread. Just not a fan. But here, I would cut, choke, and lawrd knows what else a B***h who came between me an my muffin (hmmm, I'm not even going to go there).
Onward. Hubby got the 3 piece fried chicken which came with two sides. He opted for collard greens and fries. He also requested all thighs and they happily obliged. I went for the catfish po-boy sammich with mac and cheese for my side. Fried chicken was good and crunchy but could have used a tad more flavor. It was moist though and not uber greasy. Collard greens were not the best I've had but still pretty darn tasty. Mac and cheese...I killed it and that should say it all.
As for service and atmosphere, they were both fantastic. We were in need of nothing and the spot itself was very laid back. It's currently getting filed under "gluttonous paradise" so yes, I will be returning. What can I say, It's a hard knox life for us...
