Baltimore still has some cleaning up to do but this Inner Harbor area is definitely worth a trip to for a day or two. The Gallery is a nice mall with plenty of shopping and dining options. We ate at the Cheesecake factory and walked around the stores, but never bought anything. The mall is long and is definitely nice to walk into on a hot humid summer day in Baltimore.
I found this Inner Harbor Baltimore mall to be excellent. There are many dining choices found throughout the two buildings making up this mall, as well as shops, chains and some independents I believe. The food is the main focus here though. You can pretty much find anything you want here based on your taste, budget, and time. I ate at a Phillips Seafood Express (see review) and got dessert at Vaccaro's Italian Pastries (see review). If you are in the downtown area looking for a place to eat, stop in here, you're bound to find something to eat that suits you. PS: Locals, it's not terribly touristy, although packed with tourists. I despise touristy and found this to be just fine. I'm not even a local.
