Are you kidding me?!?! I've driven past this place twice and never stopped. It will NEVER happen again!

Dave--you were our favorite stop on our wine tour Nov 5! Your amazing customer service, your wonderful Chardonnay and big, bold, beautiful Reds and the value--all top notch!

My case is already dwindling...I'll be back soon!

    CHEERS!!!

Lots of fun!  A great setting.  We got to sit with the winemaker and talk with her for some time.  She also does beer.

Great winery in an awesome environment. I was hesitant at first due to the exterior but it is absolutely wonderful! amazing wines, beers and staff. Doesn't get much better. For $5 wine tasting you try around 8 different types of wine. Must try!

We love wine tasting on the Olympic Peninsula and Harbinger's is on our list of places we must stop. The service was wonderful, she was full of knowledge and our glass was never empty. 2007 Petite Sirah topped our list of take home items as well as the Raspberry Bliss and 2008 El Jefé. The 2008 El Jefé was a birthday gift for my brother Jeff whom we have nick named El Jefé.
My husband enjoyed the selection of beer as well.
Harbinger Winery is a great local place and a MUST visit!

Ah-ma-zing! A must stop! Sara is a delight and the wines are too. Absolutely brilliant that they brew beer too. We stopped on our way to and from Forks and my travel companion joined the wine club. I wish I could go back every weekend. A very welcoming atmosphere and everything you want in a winery. I can't wait for the blend to come out that they sell to benefit the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. I'm sure I'll be in for a case!

The best tastings i've ever done. Been here twice and the wine is killer and the vibe is relaxed.

Out in the verdant hinterlands we find one GREAT winery, with specatcular bold reds and sophistaced dry raspberry dessert wines. I 've been to many tasting rooms and whielethe ambiance is quite mundane, the wine is FANTASTIC and even better are the"Celebrity" pourers.

Sarah is spectcaular, fun , informative, inquisitve with a touch of whimsy. She obviously loves wine, buit doesnt' take it so seriously that it becomes a characitureof sophistication. And then there is big Ed, a son of Lousiana who was taught how  to cook by Paul Pruhomme himself. A very smart man with an abiding passion for the fermented grape.

Don't miss this stop, it was definately a highlight. No pretenion, lots of passion.  No wonder the patrons we met were regulars, there to stock up and chat up! Enjoy!

Maybe worth a twenty minute stop depending on who is serving.

This place may look a little sketchy from the outside but I must say it is well worth the stop. Happened to drive by one rainy day and decided what the heck why not stop in and see what's going on.
To sample the wines it is $5 and you get to sample like 8-10 different kinds of wine. Usually it is actually the owner who is giving the wine tastings which is pretty cool because she is the one who is actually making the wine. She makes lots of blends which are really fantastic. She gets all of her grapes from Washington state and makes the wines right on the premisses. But be careful the wines are very smooth and easy to drink so this can lead to trouble.
And if that wasn't enough she also has a couple beers that they brew that are available for sampling. I think she will also fill mason jars and growlers as well. Great place to visit, cool atmosphere, and some pretty neat art hanging up too.

Inviting, totally unpretentious, and an easily accessible locale near the 101. the tasting area is tucked inside the winery's warehouse, you'll be sharing space with some friendly wine barrels (who don't mind taking pics with you. i speak from experience.)

the guy manning the counter was sassy (i like that.)and even though he was running the place solo he managed to keep all our glasses straight and didn't skip over anyone when it came time to pour. after listening to some complaints about the previous winery's sommelier (see mah other reviews to be filled in on Olympic Peninsula Tasting Tour 2007) , this guy was AWESOME and had everybody at ease. this place appreciates a sense of humor, even their Red Mountain Rose bottles are decorated with flamingos (wearing hats!). FLAMINGOS IN A WINERY, they were even plastic lawn flamingos decorating the display. sign me the 'eff up!!!! i luv flamingos. and wine. what a winning combo.

As usual, my bling-bling tastebuds gravitated toward the higher end stuff and my fave was the Cabernet Franc aptly named "Rapture". OH YEAH! so good i took the chance of it breaking in my checked luggage to bring it back to Cali. while i did admire the packaging, i wasn't so hot for the Rose but other fam members enjoyed it and bought bottles. Harbinger also busted out some fine dessert wines (and i usually wrinkle my nose at the sweet stuff), the raspberry (only available at the winery, i believe) was not the syrupy sweet concoction i was expecting, it had a bit of tangy bite. the blackberry was tasty but was edging more toward the sweet end of the pool.

my daddy works for Home Depot and that warehouse look with the cement floor, and metal siding might seem rough to some people but to me it reminded me of visiting mah dad at work. so it left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. Couple that with the Cab Franc and that adds up to a five star rating.

Came for first time as a birthday weekend with Randy B. & enjoyed the tastings, cheese, the atmosphere and the people and owner! Comfortable, great wines, which we ended up drinking at dinner too so I highly recommend a return visit...

This was by far the most inviting atmosphere for tasting wine!  My favorites were the petit syrah and the Raspberry Bliss.  The Rose was also a nice surprise!
