10 reviews for Happy Six
If cuteness could vomit, Happy Six is the mess you see. Everything is uber cute! Especially for Tokidoki and Hello Kitty lovers! The selections was extensive though sizing tends to run small.
Most things are pricey so wait for the sales if you can. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you can't afford to buy anything, you can console yourself with gelato at the sweet shop 2-3 stores down the way.
Happy Six ALWAYS has the best Hello Kitty stuff that I can't find anywhere else! i try and go at least every other week to see what new goodies they have!!
Love this store!!
I like this happy six so much better than the other one! They have 101 more cute items and everything is amazing.
I really wish I had some money.
THE ultimate place for Tokidoki, Hello Kitty, Paul Frank and anything cute. Fantastic selection and it's even better when it is 50% off! Wish there was one on the East coast.
This is the cousin store to their Sawtelle, Los Angeles location. However, this store is alot bigger and has lots of selections. If you are a fan of Tokidoki, Harajuku, Hello Kitty just to name a few, you will love their selections from limited graphic tees to hoodies to bags. Also has Men's graphic tees selections as well but by far, the women's selections are overwhelming. They also carries dolls, watches and other limited edition accessories like the Tokidoki skateboard deck. A fun store if you're into these cute japanese style graphic goodies.
~* happy happy, joy joy *~
today, happy six in plaza el segundo had their store grand opening. we had been anticipating this for some time because we love all the cute things (accessories, bags, clothing, jewelry, toys, etc.) they carry and enjoy going to the happy six location in west l.a. (see my review: http://www.yelp.com/bi...). however, this new location is double the size of the original store in west l.a., which means more room for more and more cute stuff.
we thought the grand opening celebration was great. there was a large turn-out. the first 50 people in line got a goodie bag (happy six/tokidoki grand opening banner, tokidoki pin pack, tokidoki sticker pack, tokidoki uchiwa). we got up early, put on our tokidoki clothing and accessories, and made sure that we were within the first 50. we turned out to be happy six/tokidoki fans #4, #5, & #6 waiting outside in line in the cold wind and on-and-off sunshine and sprinkles until the 2pm start time of the celebration. they had some food/drinks and a dj playing the music in the store. the best part, i thought, was when we got to meet the renowned artist who created tokidoki...simone legno. we got the opportunity to ask him to draw/sign an item (limited to one per person). he drew me a pic of my fave tokidoki character, mozzarella.
happy six is my super kawaii supplier. =)
i partied with tokidoki @ happy six today. did you?
i love happy six :]
such a cute store! and their gift wrapping is sooo cute too~
i love their sawtelle store but this store is like heaven! it is HUGE and has so much stuff in it. even though most of the merchandise is the same between both stores, this one has some different items not found at sawtelle. it's fun to stop here when i hang out with my friends from the south bay. also, i attended their grand opening party which was nuts! there was so many people there--insane! but it was worth it because simone legno was there!!!! another plus is that their sawtelle staff also works at this location so you know that their customer service will always be stellar. parking is also plentiful. i can't decide which store i love more--let's just say i love them both equally!
finally decided to check out this location since it was on the way home from me and i usually go the westwood one since it's closer to me. don't ever trust google maps on the iphone since it got me totally lost to the store and had to phyically checked a thomas guide. located in the plaza el segundo, it's on the side called The Edge, where you see some fish sculptures near the entrance (right across from Dick's Sporting Goods). as previous reviews notes, it's so much bigger than the sawtells store. prices are the same as the sawtell location. staff is really helpful and the owner, sophie, is really nice and i have met her a few times at both locations. loved the free parking since i'm all about free. they do have a mailing/contact list so if you want to get notified of new items (i.e. tokidoki, hello kitty tokidoki, etc.). they do have different asian themed brands such as tokidoki, spicy brown, etc and sophie has her own line too. i do love this store! ;)
