Happy Nails is just like any other nail place.  I have never had to wait for a mani/pedi at this location.   Most of the people who work at Happy Nails do a decent job but I never leave thinking that I had the best pedicure ever.   It does get annoying that they constantly ask about "extra" services.

The lady who does the eyebrow waxing is amazing.  (Sadly, I dont remember her name).  I would give her 4 stars.  She does a good job on my eyebrows and its like 7 bucks.

Happy Nails does take credit cards, but the staff prefers it if you pay them by cash or check.

I'm not a big fan of Happy Nails, or any of the similar nail salons, but I went here to get a pedicure because I had a gift card.  There was also a $2 off coupon on-line, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with a free pedicure (excluding tip).

Usually I do my own nails, and as usual, I left thinking that my toes look better when I do them myself.  The salon was very clean, and I didn't get the feeling that the staff was talking about me like I have at other Happy Nails, but my feet just didn't look much different that when I walked in, other than my polish wasn't worn off and chipped.  Plus, I still saw some dead skin in little spots around my toes.

What I really don't like is that a pedicure should be a very relaxing experience, but at this place I felt like I was constantly being asked to purchase additional services, when all I wanted was the pedicure.  Paraffin wax?  Maybe next time.  Flower? No thanks.  Rhinestone?  That's okay, no.

The woman who worked on me was very nice and smiled the whole time, but when I looked down as she was polishing my nails, I noticed she skipped the base coat and went straight to the color.  Okay, I thought, not that big of deal.  She must have realized she forgot a step later on, because on my right foot only, she added a layer of base coat on top of the top coat!  I've never seen that before.  And why on only half my toe nails?  Very odd.

I gave her a good tip anyway because I always feel bad that these people have to touch peoples' feet for a living, but I think I'll stick to doing my own nails next time.
