Got a fill here, not a pedicure. Service was pretty fast, but after work on a weekday, they were super packed. The pedi stations were FULL & the prices were a little high, but ya it is in the O.C. and there are not really a ton of nail places around. I would probably go back out of convenience and it is close to Subway and Henry's if you are hungry.
A pretty basic nail salon, a mani/pedi = $29. Pretty spacious with lots of spa chairs, clean, good atmosphere, and the ladies were nice and quiet. Happy nails is located in the ocean ranch plaza in between pier 1 and fred's mexican cafe.
i received the worst manicure of my life at this location. i usually go to the happy nails in los angeles, so i figured the happy nails at ocean ranch would be a similar experience. oh man. i will never go back here. the woman who did my nails had a soft voice, so soft that i couldn't hear a damn thing she said. she kept looking at the clock, as if she couldn't wait to get out of there. when she got nail polish on her own hands, she proceeded to remove it and groom herself. i am sorry but i am not paying you to do your own nails. she had no idea what she was doing, maybe this was the first time she had ever given a manicure in her life. she cut my pinky finger while cutting my cuticles. she kept pouring large amounts of alcohol on my hands, which left my skin soo incredibly dry for a WEEK. i ran out of a bottle of lotion that week. i also had so many hang nails after my manicure, something i've never had a problem with. when she messed up two of my nails by rubbing her own hand against them, she blamed me for not being relaxed enough. there were so many things this woman did wrong, but too many to list them all. i just advise if you must get a manicure near ocean ranch, go to the salon next to the longs drugs across the street. avoid this place like the plague!!!
