Hannah is the best of the best. Not only do her cakes taste and look amazing, but she is a wonderful person.
When I saw the cake flavors she offered I knew she was the one for me, so of course I was a bit nervous going into the cake tasting. I had my heart set on a green tea or chai flavored cake and if the cake didn't taste as good as it sounded I didn't know what I would do. thank goodness every flavor was fantastic.
We decided on the green tea cake with the mango ginger filling for two tiers and a chocolate mint cake with a cherry filling for one tier. She designed the cake for me based on the style I liked from her portfolio and then matched the sugar flowers to the flowers I had in my bouquet. she also matched the tier borders to the pattern on my dress.
Hannah made us a separate anniversary cake, so we wouldn't have to worry about having enough cake for the guests.
Everybody at the wedding was amazed that the cake was vegan, many comments of "it's so moist" and "the fondant is vegan too" and "are you sure this is vegan"
Hannah was prompt in returning my emails, clear when answering my questions, arrived on time with my cake and was all around wonderful. I will find a reason to order another cake from her someday :) -

We just got married and Hannah made the most beautiful and delicious cake that exceeded our wishes and expectations. She took lots of time working with us to get a really clear understanding of the specific design elements we were looking for. The end result was a cake that looked and tasted fantastic. She even did one layer of it gluten free for some of our family and honestly I could not taste a difference between the two. We can't wait for another special occasion for which we can have Hannah make us another masterpiece!

One of my favorite pastimes is watching those cooking shows on TV. Especially the ones where they make wedding and specialty cakes. While I am a very good cook, I am a horrible baker and I can really appreciate a well prepared cake.
For my recent 30th reunion Hannah prepared a beautiful cake for our class president. It was so beautiful that at first I couldn't tell it was a cake, it looked more like a work of art.
I urge you to take a look at Hannah's website and learn more about her cakes. She takes care to incorporate your dietary needs in with the beauty and eye appeal. -

Oh. My. Goodness. If I could have Hannah Tai make every cake I ate for the rest of my life, I would.
My husband and I are vegetarian with vegan aspirations. We got married this past July and tasted cakes from a bunch of different places, both vegan and non. Half the cakes we tasted were so sickly sweet that we couldn't take more than a bite. The others were boring or just so-so, not to mention outrageously priced!
I'd been hesitant at first to consider a vegan cake because most of the guests at our wedding were not vegan and I didn't want them to think the cake tasted like "vegan fare." Although we had a completely vegan wedding, we kept that a secret in the hopes of changing some minds about what it means to eat cruelty-free.
After looking at Hannah's incredibly beautiful cakes and listing of specialty flavors, I knew I'd found something amazing. We met for a tasting and I was absolutely blown away. Her cake is by far the best I have *ever* tasted *anywhere* and she doesn't expect your first-born child as payment! She uses fresh, organic ingredients and custom designs each cake (if you haven't seen her website, they are the most beautiful cakes you'll ever encounter).
At our wedding, guest after guest complimented us on the wedding cake. Not only was it the most gorgeous cake anyone had ever seen (email me for a pic if you wish!), it shocked and amazed even our carnivorous friends with how wonderfully delicious it tasted. I can't recommend Hannah's services more. -

We are at sfo, ready to go to our honeymoon, but i wanted comment on awesome wedding cake Hannah made for us. I know i'm biased but it was the most preciously cute cake i've ever seen! And the cake is yummy yummy!!! Hannah was also very easy to work with and exact in matching our visions together. Hannah, thank you for placing the cake exactly @ 5. ;)
just not sure if we can wait for a full year until we have the top! -

What an amazing combination of beauty and taste these confections have! HEA made our wedding cake, and people rave about it to this day. We talk about its beauty, we talk about its taste (no one ever guessed it was vegan!), but what I could go on and on about is the fantastic customer service from start to finish. We tasted all the delectable flavors, picked our design, and then this gorgeous, delicious cake magically appeared at our wedding location. No bride wants to be fretting last minute details, and with HEA, you at least know the cake is covered! I can't recommend them more highly.

Hannah did our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing! We wanted a dairy free cake, and Hannah delivered with a cake that was as good as the very best non-vegan cakes! All of our guests loved it, and two years later I'm still thinking about it. And the cake couldn't have been more beautiful!

Hannah's creations are so much more than cake -- she makes GORGEOUS art masterpieces that are also incredibly delicious! When I found her website and saw her exquisite designs, I wanted one. Then we met her and tasted several delectable samples. She was so friendly and flexible, and even makes vegan and organic options that are divine. She took my vague ideas and preferences and created the absolutely perfect cake for us. It was more than we wanted to spend, but it was worth it. (See photo I posted on this page.) Everybody raved about how beautiful, creative and tasty our cake was. It's almost two years later and I can still remember how yummy it tasted. If you want something truly unique and artistic, talk with Hannah. She's terrific!

Hannah's cakes are both absolutely exquisite in beauty and delicious in unique flavors. We have ordered several cakes from Hannah over the last few years and her cakes are always the highlight of the event. They steal the show as the gorgeous centerpiece on my table and at every party I am sharing her name with guests. At first we ordered the chocolate flavors and have more recently moved on to the green tea,, mango or other fruits... and every flavor combination is to die for. Her cakes are so beautiful that I am almost reluctant to cut into them. My guests hope to save some of the ornate detail, though the children fight over every piece. Hannah has always been wonderful and attentive to work with. When we had trouble choosing between the many flavors, she offered us several samples to try. Every flavor was so different from the other - and all delicious. It is always a pleasure to call Hannah and talk about our celebration and the flavors, colors or theme our special guest may prefer. To find a artisan/baker this talented and also well organized and delightful to work with, is a great gift. She's a gem as are her cakes!
