Hands of the Hills Wholesale
3 reviews for Hands of the Hills Wholesale
I have a new favorite place to get glass beads and unique fabrics. My sister has been giving me beads from here for years and I finally visited. Then I kicked myself for not going sooner. It's ok, I didn't kick too hard. There are plenty of unique and beautiful beads and an enormous selection of Czech glass beads and lots of vintage stuff, but that just scratches the surface of this amazing shop. Japanese fabrics that will make authentic happi coats and kimonos, imported Asian silks, beaded and embellished ribbons, hemp fabrics, vintage buttons... And to top it off, basic jewelry classses are FREE. If you bead or sew or craft, or know someone who does, you HAVE to visit. Seriously.
I just wanted to update: THIS STORE NO LONGER EXISTS! I believe the owner still has her online store, unfortunately I don't know the web address. This store was absolutely AMAZING, and I refused to believe it when the staff told me the store was closing. PLEASE TRY TO FIND THE ONLINE STORE!!!! The merchandise is from the owner's various trips to countries all over the world. Primarily a bead shop, this store has all the coolest and unique finds in jewelry, accessories, and clothing. I bought two of my favourite scarves here as well as some awesome handmade and antique pendants. This place will be greatly missed...
Just want to let you know that Hands of the Hills, Inc. is still open for business. We are a wholesale bead store. We sold the retail store in 2002 to Theresa A. Mertens, Inc. dba Hands of the Hills - Retail. Theresa closed the retail store in August 2005. Hands of the Hills, Inc. has been wholesaling beads since 1989 and we continue to be a premier source for Hilltribe silver beads made in Thailand. We also carry shell beads from Nepal, old and new glass beads from around the world, and brass beads from India.
