Sensory Integration Occupation Therapy was great, but we needed something more that we could do at home to continue to help our son during and after his OT course. We were in search of a good individualized home exercise program to help him with his Autism Spectrum needs (Vestibular, motor planning, hypotonia, behavior, attention, etc.) Dror at HANDLE created a very individualized program with ongoing interventions based on assessments over time. Her teaching of how each exercise related physiologically to our son's needs motivated us. Her ongoing support and reinforcement of "gentle enhancement" helped us stay positive and see small improvements on the way to milestones.
After seeing Dror's work with our son, and realizing my own similar needs resulting from a brain tumor, I had my own individualized HANDLE assessment by Dror. What a great gift it has been. Dror's custom program and support over time are inspirational. I now face another brain surgery, but armed with the confidence that overwhelming progress comes from the smallest gains made over time. That is--small, specific, targeted, individualized exercises to make those gains. I can't thank you enough for your gift Dror!

Meet the Business Owner: Dror S.
My interest in holistic approaches to health goes back some twenty years. I directed the School for Self-Healing in San Francisco from 1993-2003, co-authored The Handbook of Self-Healing (Penguin, 1994) and worked mostly in the field of natural vision improvement during that period. I researched, developed methodology, worked with clients with various visual impairments and taught classes in the US, Europe and Israel. I presented in international conferences on natural vision improvement and co-hosted two conferences in the San Francisco Bay Area. I got involved with HANDLE in 2004, first as a parent, and in the following year started training with The HANDLE Institute. I am certified as a practitioner and instructor, and maintain my affiliation with the HANDLE Institute. I offer my services both in English and in Hebrew. My certification with HANDLE allows me to work with the Full Range of Developmental Disorders of Learning & Behavior in clients who are at least 5 years old.
