Q: What's the definition of impossible?
A: Finding Green Bay Packer fabric in a Denver Broncos town.
Oh wait... did I say "impossible?" I meant HARD. Hard, but not impossible. After calling pretty much every big-name fabric store in the phone book (Denver Fabrics, Jo-Ann, Hobby Lobby, Michael's), and getting laughed at, sniffed at, tsk-tsked at, and cussed at (not really... but some people take those Denver Donkeys WAY too seriously around here), I finally hit on Hancock Fabrics.
Hard to type, Hancock Fabrics. My speedy fingers just want to send it out as "Hancock Fabricks" each time... like they're some sort of Pagan Magick Fabrick Dealer or something. But I digress...
Not only was the woman who answered the phone actually NICE to me, informing me that they did have other NFL-licensed fabrics besides the requisite Blue n' Orange, but she actually went to the back of the store to check to see if they carried any Packer stuff.
And you know what? They did!! THREE DIFFERENT STYLES.
For those of you who may be wondering why I happened to be in immediate need of Green Bay Packer fabric, let's just say it involved a birthday gift for a friend, and a very, very poor attempt at sewing a gigantic, multi-positional "foam" finger thing. Don't ask. Trust me... you don't want to know.
