5 reviews for Hana Bay Juice Co
Sandwiches and smoothies make this place good for the locals.
But even more fun for a tourist spending a day on the road to Hana is that this place offers the option to pack your lunch and keep it cold in a borrowed cooler for the day. No worries if you get back late on the trip back from Hana as there is a designated after hours drop off location to return the cooler.
While the cooler is actually nothing fancy, it's still a nice added luxury.
A nice chilled drink, sandwich, macaroni salad, and cookie lunch by your favorite waterfall - what more could you need when on vacation?
The picnic lunches they packed for us was just...meh.
Try the other cafe on Baldwin that offers pack lunches - more options for a lower price.
I hate to knock this place, but I went in for a juice, and their juicer machine was broken! Now, you are running a business, and your name is "Juice Co.", maybe you should have a backup juicer...I mean, I personally own two of them, and that's just in my home kitchen.
I did get a picnic lunch, and rented the foam cooler. The sandwich was decent, nothing to write home about. No problem getting my deposit back at the gas station next door for the borrowed cooler, after the store had closed.
Say what?!?! Basil mayo? On a panini roll, lettuce, sprouts, tomatoe, turkey and provolone cheese created by Tiffany. I say Ok!!
One of the many reasons food is one of my favorite hobbies.
Also: Say YES to the lava flow or pineapple paradise smoothie!
Best smoothies ever. Ever.
But I do have to knock them down to just four stars because of how early they close. Their posted closing time is 4 pm, but often I have found them closing up at 3 or even as early as 2:30. Which is a real bummer when you drive all the way into Paia after a nice long hike for a delicious smoothy, only to find them closing up when you get there at 2:30 on a Saturday! Such is Maui!
