Had dinner here. The food is good, average. i hear the lunch buffet is good.
I had the whole chicken with ginseng rice soup. It was good, and the chicken is a whole chicken, not like the little bird I get at another Korean place I've frequented in Santa Clara.
The short ribs were good too.
I found this place when I was organizing business cards left in the business card cases at the lobby of A Perfect Day Spa (I know, I was bored while waiting for my turn). When I searched this place within Yelp search engine, I couldn't find it, so decided to try this place myself.
The restaurant itself is next to Ajisen Ramen that open a few weeks ago. Once inside, a waitress greeted me if I wanted buffet lunch. Since I didn't feel like pigging out and wanted to try their tofu soup, I asked for a menu. Later, I found out that the lunch buffet was $7.50. Not a bad deal.
I ordered seafood tofu soup, and the waitress got me appetizers out of buffet tables. Appetizers were ordinary, with kim-chee being overly fermented thus being sour and not much else. I was a little surprised to find that the tofu soup didn't have any seafood, but instead grains of what looked like beef. And the taste is... well, like a spicy tofu miso soup. It did not look or taste like chige (hope I spelled correctly). There is no depth in the soup typical to chige.
For this kind of food and service, I had to pay $8.99. That's expensive, borderline rip-off. If there was 1-1/2 star, I would assign that. People who are more into Korean food might give harsher ratings, and rightfully so. Now I see why other Yelpers haven't tried this place... They probably got words-of-mouth info that this place wasn't good.

First, you won't realize it is there. Their sign has chinese and korean on it, but no english. However, I think this place is wonderful, for $7.99 you can have an all you can eat Lunch buffet everyday (including weekends). There is a decent selection of the typical small dishes, their chapchae is pretty good, and their bbq ribs are awesome. Its not too oily and really tasty. They have on the side(in a rice warmer) ginseng chicken porridge. If you like porridge, you'll like it! They have cut up fruit for dessert and punch too.
